The day before the tour, I went through the streets of the Medina myself and thought I pretty much had seen it everything. Believe me, I had not. With Riadh I saw and discovered things, I otherwise would never have and also he told about me about the history of buildings etc in an absolutely interesting, fun and lively way, while sharing his comprehensive knowledge of Tunisian history. Moreover, he did not hesistate to give very useful recommendations about travelling in and around Tunis, in short: DOs and DONTs. So basically, the best guide ever and I hope many more people can experience the Medina and Sidi Bou Said the way I did that day.

This tour of Tunis given by Riadh was absolutely amazing and i can't express how helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional but fun he was, the tour was also jam packed and luckily we had him to ourselves that day almost like a private tour. Its one of the best day tours i've ever had. Even before the tour date, we received a very helpful text on things to do / know to make our Tunisia trip a lot easier. The tour started early on the morning after we took a louage to the outskirts of the city, Riadh was always checking in to make sure we were okay getting around and even offered to buy us a taxi to him if we couldn't find one at the louage station. Highlights were definitely the museums & palaces, sidi bou said, the tiramisu we had at a traditional cafe (cant remember the name!) and the central market of tuns (produce lovers heaven). We learned so much, saw so much and had so many laughs (shout out to the taxi driver lol!)

Excellent walking tour of the Medina & Sidi Bou Said. They are both pedestrian areas, so your phone will log quite a few steps. The tour is restricted to a small group & we were luckily enough to have the guide to ourselves. Our guide Riadh really has a passion about about the city & provided loads of useful tips before arriving to Tunis, plus during the tour itself. The right balance of history & info about the city. Loads of time to take the photos & explore what you want & never rushed. We weren’t really interested in buying anything from the many stalls in the medina, so he was more than happy to whisk us through to see other bits. There was no pressure to buy anything from stalls unlike other tours I’ve been on before. This is NOT one of those tours where a guide will take you to a friend’s stall for commission. Sidi Bou Said is a must, it seems like a totally different country compared to the hustle & bustle of the old part of Tunis. We decided to stay in Sidi Bou Said for a few hours after the tour rather than return straight back to Tunis & Riadh gave us some recommendations on places to go.

Riadh is an awesome guide. I have done day tours across the globe, and he is by far the very best guide I have ever had. I feel like I made a new friend. In the middle of the day and at the end, we sat at coffee shops and had long conversations about Tunisia and his business, and it was just an extremely rewarding experience. He was like walking history book in his explanations of everything in the medina and Sidi Bou Said neighborhood. When I mentioned that I would like to try eating lamb's brain, he said, "I know exactly where to take you for that!" And he did--he took me out of the way to a restaurant where I had the most delectable, melt-in-your-mouth meal. And during lunch I asked if there was a local beer, and so he took me to a nearby bar to have one. His English is perfect--he learned it from watching TV and movies. I got the most beautiful pictures during the tour. What was supposed to be a 6-7 hour tour turned out to be 11 hours, and the time just flew by--I loved every minute of it. I so thoroughly enjoyed this day that I have recommended it to everyone I know. Everyone who saw my pics was envious. It really was the perfect day. I will return, and Riadh will be the first person I call.

Riadh was an excellent tour guide. He has extensive knowledge of the medina and Sidi Bou Said. He provided me with a lot of good tips on transportation, food and shopping in Tunisia. The pace of the tour was nice, no rush, and we chose where and how to spend the time.

I came to Tunis just for 3 days because I had a short vacation , want to experience something new thing and not very far from my country, so I didn’t make a lot of research about the country and didn’t have any expectation at all First day was a disappointment ,I just had walk alone in medina , the only problem was that some people kept insisting to take me to some shop “to enjoy the view “ , i just want to save the rest of the trip so I booked a tour to medina and Sidi bou Said This tour changed my first impression about the city, I realized that there is plenty of story behind those walls , we talked about nowadays life in Tunisia and plenty of other topics The guide knew what he s doing , when we asked him he took us to a very good local restaurant and a nice coffeeshop We also had the opportunity to take plenty of good pictures for the medina streets , the door and the sea from sidi bou said He also gave us plenty of recommendations about good places to visit Highly Recommend this tour !
