This tour is a lot of fun ! Great way to view and understand the city, highly recommended. The guides will make a great experience.

Luke was such an entertaining guide around Bordeaux. He took the utmost care to make sure we were safe and ready to roar down the streets of Bordeaux in his cool bike/sidecar. It was such a fun and comfortable ride! What a great way to learn the history of this beautiful city!

We had just 24 hours in Bordeaux as part of our summer holiday, so wanted an opportunity to see the best the city had to offer in the short time we had. I came across these brilliant motorcycle sidecar tours while researching and was sold. We had a brilliant 90 minutes with our rider and guide Arnault, a true Gentleman Sider, very knowledgeable, a lot of fun and a safe and courteous rider. We're now completely sold on Bordeaux and will be back for more next year (and we'll be booking a longer tour to get out to the vineyards)

This was truly a new experience and a great way to see Bordeaux. There were two of us, my friend rode in the sidecar and I rode on the back seat. It was very comfortable and at no time did I feel concerned about my safety - and I am not one to advocate motorcycle rides. We were able to get down into the narrow side streets. Arthur was very knowledgeable about Bordeaux and hit all the hi-lite's and some interesting information. I would highly recommend this if you want a different experience and a break from walking tours. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour of Bordeaux, a great way to start your visit here , Alex was great and told me a lot of the history of here, and also showed me some great places to go for the evening. Very friendly and helpful, and very skilled with the Ural motorcycle, you will feel safe and have a lot of fun. After the tour I felt I had more of a grasp on the city and where to spend my time.

We loved this experience! It was so much fun and onlookers seemed envious! Alex was very friendly and full of trivia, history and tips! We got a really good overview of the city as well as a fun ride! Alex was very careful to check we were within our comfort zone and happy to make the ride more exciting if we were OK with it. We ended up using most of his tips for the rest of the holiday!

Made city much more accessible. Got to see many neighbors you won’t on a bus or car. Plus a pretty funky way around town.

This is without a doubt the best way to see and experieince Bordeaux if you have limited time (or sore feet). You get to see the sights close up, and you get an entertaining commentary - Alexandre will answer all those questions about culture and daily life too. The side car is surprisingly comfy - plenty leg room in front and 'skirt' that covers your legs and keeps you warm.

We were visiting Bordeaux by cruise ship and on a previous visit had seen the city from a coach. We are not so good at walking and this sounded like just what we wanted. The standard tour is 1.5 hours, but we wanted a little longer. We contacted Retro Tours and were able to arrange for a 2-hour tour. Neither of us like wine or oysters, so it was arranged that instead we would be able to experience some local pastries. Alexandre collected us from our cruise ship and that was the start of an amazing tour both on the right bank and the left bank of the city. It was obvious that Alexandre loves the city and it was wonderful to see where locals went to relax (on the right bank) and also to see the main sights and landmarks from a very different perspective, being able to get down narrow streets where coaches and not many cars could get. Alexandre took photos of us at various points and i was also able to take photos as we went. Helmets were provided and not much walking was involved, which was just fine. We were lucky in that the weather was dry and not too cold - one does have to be prepared for all weathers. The only suggestion would be for in-helmet comms, to make it easier to exchange information on the move. This tour is for a maximum of two people per bike - one in the sidecar and one on the pillion behind the driver, but it can booked as a solo occupancy with the passenger just being in the sidecar and a little bit of agility is required to get in and out of the sidecar.

Unexpectedly we ran into a Retro-Tour offer. How nice this was. So you see Bordeaux in a very different and funny way.

I seriously cannot recommend this tour enough! I did it with a friend and it was an absolute blast! Alexandre was hilarious and took his time to explain everything in a way that we understood. We took turns in the sidecar and on the back of the bike. The views were incredible and so much more interesting than anything you would see on a tour bus! I am so so so glad we did this and would highly recommend it. Book in advance so that you get the wine tour you want.

Merveilleuse expérience! Super fun. Accessible à tous. Pédagogique. Drôle. Nous étions 7 et avons pris 4 side-cars. Tous les pilotes étaient sympas et nous avons tous été enchantés. À essayer absolument que vous soyez de Bordeaux ou d’ailleurs.
