The time and travels through upper Egypt were truly amazing. Cruising the Nile River to learn about Luxor and other remarkable locations was worth the money. Our travel guide, Michael Samir provided a great experience by sharing his knowledge and historical elements of the area. Michael’s guidance greatly added to an enjoyable and entertaining experience. I’m already looking forward to returning in the near future.

We had an amazing trip in Egypt everything was wonderful and we have so many photos to reminisce with. We travelled from Alexandria to Aswan including a Nile cruise . It was a private tour for 4 adults and we were so well looked after with a private drivers and tour guides.Michael our guide was amazing.

For 5 magnificent days we had the knowledge of Michael our private guide from Luxor to Abu Simbel, he was fantastic in the way he taught us about the Egyptian and their way of life back thousands of years.

We had a great time seeing the sites in Luxor with our guide Mike. In addition to providing overviews of the temples and tombs, he helped us with practical information about our visit. He gave us ample time to explore the sites on our own too.

My friend and I had an amazing day out in Luxor on this tour. Michael was one of the best guides we had in Egypt. He's very knowledgeable, fun and was respectful for two women travelling solo.

Mike was a great host and guide on our visit to Luxor. Since we started planing our trip he was helpful and willing to accommodate the itinerary to fit best our interest. Always on time since the pick up at the airport until we left Egypt. Very knowledgeable which made our visits to every site more interesting. We all appreciated his work and dedication it really made our experience at Luxor a great one.

I went on this tour with a family that I met in Cairo and we figured out that we would be in Luxor on the same dates. So we decided to do a tour together. Since there were two children 9 and 14 years old, the company offered my friends to split the full day into two half-day trips and start early around 7.30 am so it would be easier for the kids. It turned out to be a great idea as the temperature soared to 44-46C after 2 pm. Those were wonderful, overwhelming two days. On the first day, we went to the West bank, and on the second to Luxor and Karnak temples. We had two different guides, Mike and Eereen (female guide), and they both were entertaining and doing their best to make us feel comfortable and engaged. I learned a lot of details about Egyptian culture and it was mind-blowing. Be aware that guiding in the tombs is forbidden so it would be better if you acquire some basic knowledge about Egyptian symbols beforehand. The guide will explain the most interesting aspects and details of a particular tomb and what to pay attention to at the entrance of it but those tombs are gigantic, with well-preserved inscriptions and there are so many interesting details so I got a lot of questions. I would take pictures and then show them to the guide. They would explain. Guiding in the temples is allowed so the guides accompany you and tell the story in real-time, and it's a bit more fascinating because they answer your questions as they arise. Beside explanations, both guides also gave us a lot of free time. I finished the tour with enormous inspiration to learn more about ancient Egypt because it is never enough and there is no end to its mystery. Overall, I had a fantastic time and enjoyed no end, despite the crazy heat of those days. I highly recommend this company for those who wants to be flexible and adjust the tour to their specific needs, enjoy comfort and thoughtful service, or who just wants to have a great time. Mike Samir our guide was excellent! He let us have free time, photo ops, sit down and get in the shade stops but all whilst giving us information and educating us on Egypt history. The driver was polite and the car nice and air con and clean. Pick up from our hotel was super easy and be in ga private tour of the valley of the Kings, hatspehphut temple we even squeezed in colossi of memnon and a tour of a factory thst made alabaster stone. He advised us prices and what was a good price and what was a rip off. His English was superb and we had a filled day and we're amazed! Thank you so much Mike!

Focussing on the West Bank for our custom tour, George took us in an adventure back in time. A full 8 hour day guiding us through the history of: Valley Of The Kings Hatshepsut Temple Valley Of The Queens Deir El-Medina Habu Temple Throughout the day, George provided some background of the Luxor region as we drove to the sites of the West Bank. At each site he provided valuable information about the history for the sites we would see. Our guide george is personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his expertise and booked for an East Bank tour the next day.

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to communicate well with me, an American, and my companion from Finland.

Mike was absolutely amazing both with his responsiveness and ability to accommodate special requests. He helped us put together a fantastic itinerary including some great editions like the tomb of Nefertari ( Must do, worth the money ). We did both the west bank and East Bank through Luxor Tours and the guide assigned to us, Ireney, was witty, patient and very very knowledgeable. She's also a fantastic photographer and really helped with negotations at a couple of places we shopped at. Mike also helped us book the Balloon ride ( phenomenal experience- a must do) and was kind enough to help with a bunch of things like arranging an RTPCR test for our daughter and helping with restaurant recommendations. We loved the experience and will definitely book with them again.

We had a great time with Yolanda , she was amazing explaining all the details of the sites to us . She even helped us for our souvenir shopping She know lots of local places we really enjoyed her company . I am looking forward to get more tours with her in future Thank you

This was the BEST tour I’ve done in Egypt. A perfectly designed tour to see best parts of Luxor in one day. Our Tour guide, Mike, was incredibly. He knew all the history, ancient stories, and provided detailed descriptions all along the way. DO IT.

Toured Luxor east and west banks and had a blast! Our tour guide Mike was super informative, friendly, and took us to all the best spots before the big crowds got there. 10/10 would recommend and would go again!

We did the full day tour of Luxor with Mike. He was an awesome guide and super knowledgeable. I would do a tour with him anytime again.

I’ve just returned from a group family trip to Egypt arranged to celebrate my Son’s 50th Birthday. My wife and I live in the UK, but the rest of the family group live in Spain, so as my Son’s part of the family are in to diving it was decided that we would meet up in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada. We were also keen on seeing some of of the Ancient Egyptian sites so on looking into the possibility of incorporating a trip to Luxor I came across Go Luxor Tours. The family group of 9 are so pleased that I did and in view of their excellent service I wanted to thank them again with this review. Even though Go Luxor had good reviews, I am always wary of anything other than personal recommendations but in this instance I needn’t have worried. From my initial enquiry Mike at Go Luxor was efficient and responsive. We decided to stay two nights in Luxor and Mike fixed up our private transfers from our Hurghada hotel to Luxor, a full day trip incorporating The Tombs at the Valley of The Kings, various Temples and our subsequent return from Luxor back to Hurghada the next day. The sites were all fantastic but what made it so enjoyable and interesting was our wonderful, friendly day tour guide George, an Egyptologist who speaks excellent English. Oh! And I must mention that at short notice on the day of our travel to Luxor we asked Mike if he might be able to fix up a sunset felucca ride for all of us from our Nile side hotel that same evening. Although initially not sure he came back to us within an hour to say George our next day guide had fixed it up and at 5pm that evening he was accompanying us on our Nile ride. A perfect excursion during our Red Sea holiday. We’ll be back to Egypt at some point and next time we’ll contact Go Luxor Tours first.

We had a really good day visiting Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Memnon. We only gave Go Luxor 1 day’s notice but communication was easy and straightforward and all included and excluded costs were made very clear. Our guide Ereeny was really knowledgeable and with our driver helped shaped the plan on the day to avoid crowds and minimise time in the sun.
