We spent a fantastic day with our guide, Yuta, who took us to the beautiful towns of Shirakawago and Takayama in the mountains. I strongly recommend taking this tour as the traditional towns are truly amazing and very difficult to reach on your own. Yuta drove very well and considerately while explaining a lot about the region on the way. He provided so much useful information about each of the places of interest. Loved this trip to traditional Japan!

Tour guide was prepared to answer all our questions and is very knowledgeable of the area . Was eager to make our day special. Excellent experience.

Yuuta, our driver, was super nice and he even walked and guided us through the town even though he didn’t have to! also his restaurant recommendation was incredible. The ride was smooth and comfortable and the towns we visited are so unique and like nothing I’ve seen before

Each place was a wonderful surprise. The snow in Shirakawago was an added delight. Our driver Masahiro was superb and gave us an overview in each location. Had a great day.

We had an amazing day with Yuka exploring Takayama and Shirakawa. She was an excellent guide and also fantastic company. I would thoroughly recommend her services to anyone considering this tour.

Going to the ancient village was great and so neat to see the structures. The driving is a little much though but if you want to see the neat things around Kanazawa you need to drive so it is what it is. A little more info from the guide would have been nice. He was pleasant but for all intents and purposes we were left to our own devices.

This was a great trip and worth travelling for. Our guide Yukaa was warm and knowledgeable and did a great job showing us around. It was snowing all day and we felt safe and missed nothing! Highly recommended.

Mai our driver-guide was great despite difficult weather and horrible driving conditions. Had a good time in Takayama and then fortunately Mai managed to get us to Shirakawago during a short break in the weather while the visibility was good, and we could enjoy the snow-covered village. Magical drive through the mountains and to the village of Shirikawago. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us around well. We dropped one of the places and instead came back to Kanazawa to see other sites in city due the snow. The vehicle could have been better - we were driven around in a local taxi.

The guide was personable and provided interesting information throughout the day. The places she took us were scenic as well as interesting. Our personal connection with the guide made the tour most enjoyable

It’s a pleasant and fun trip. Shiragawago and Hida Furukawa are so beautiful, quaint and calm. Masahiro-San is flexible, punctual while try to meet our request. Also have good suggestion of lunch place in Furukawa town.

We enjoyed visiting Shirakawago and Hida. The lunch in Hida was delicious. Unfortunately, the weather in Takayama cut short our visit there. However, Yuka did a wonderful job of driving us around and guiding our visit.

I had a great time visiting Shirakawago, Furukawa, and Takayama with Ito-san. He managed the pace of the tour very well and gave insightful explanations about the sights and history. I'm vegan and it's not exactly easy to find food options in Japan especially outside big cities, but Ito-san managed to find a great soba restaurant that had a vegan dish. He also kindly helped me check the ingredients of the wagashi to make sure they were vegan. The sights were a long drive from Kanazawa but definitely worth it.

Had an amazing trip to Shirakawago, Hida Furukawa and Takayama. Wish we could give our guide 6 stars; he was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Definitely recommend booking this tour! He recommended lunch spots for us, and we had the best lunch of our trip so far!

A long day of touring that is well worth it. Incredible towns with incredible buildings and friendly people. Our guide/driver, Yuta, well informed and spoke pretty good English. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Yuka-san was a good guide. My children enjoyed the picturesque sites we have been to. The food recommendation was superb. I wish we had more time going around Takayama's shopping district :)

An excellent day out seeing Shirakawago, Hida Furukawa and Takayama. Guide was well spoken and knowledgeable and good company. A full day out with a lot of distance covered. It would not have been possible to do so much in a day without the driver guide.

This tour is just fabulous. The guide was just lovely with great English. Food was fabulous. It was a great way to get into the countryside without driving. Hida was our favourite as there was no one there! Shirakawago And Takayama were obviously fabulous.

This was such a great way to spend a day. The private tour allowed us to see the 3 main towns in a very efficient manner. Our guide gave us plenty of tips about where to go at each town, and he was always there ready to pick us up quickly when we had done what we wanted to see. A great way to see such a magical part of Japan.

This tour was one of our highlights of our trip. It was nice to see a little bit of Japan's countryside. Yuta is an incredible driver and person to speak with. We enjoyed talking to him about Japan and the places we visted. I would recommed this tour very much!
