This tour was fantastic. Maival was very informative and accommodating. She went out of her way to make the day the best possible. We visited the Citadel, Egyptian Museum of Civilization, Pyramids and the Sphinx. Lastly, we had a delicious traditional Egyptian lunch. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was amazing, his name was tawfeeq, he had excellent knowledge of all the sites and made it very interesting. The only con of the tour was when we had to wait for the driver at khan-el-khalili, it was an over 30 minute wait, it would have been fine if the driver didn't keep saying "5 minutes". But besides this small thing, everything else was terrific, the tour guide picked us up from the airport and dropped us off on time as well.

My guide, Heba, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and also a great photographer! I felt very cared for and safe as a solo female traveler. Her instructions prior to meeting at the airport were detailed and helpful. I had only a 7 hour layover, and she packed everything I wanted to see into 2 hours (Giza pyramids, including entry to one pyramid, Sphinx, camel ride.) Would highly recommend her and Egypt Tailor Made overall! My tour was October 26, 2023, and there was absolutely no impact from the Israel/Hamas conflict at that time. Very safe.

My family and I had a fantastic experience with Egypt Tailor Made Tours and our guide, Sabry, and driver, Mohammed. Walid worked with me on the thorough planning and full customizing our two days in Cairo to the needs of a family with 7 and 9 year old kids and we highly recommend. Our experience with being received at the airport and assisted through customs with our entrance visas (very clutch), communication and responsiveness via WhatsApp at all times, private transportation everywhere with Mohammed and Ali, guiding experience with Sabry, the pyramids complex and camel ride, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Egyptian Museum, and special requests for local food, sweets, and local, fair-trade artisan shopping were excellent. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the Nile cruise (way too loud, too long, but solid buffet), but I'm sure it's other folks' cup of tea. We especially recommend our guide, Sabry, to anyone, but especially families with kids. He knew how to give the grown ups compelling and illustrative info but keep the kiddos engaged at the same time, something only an experienced father of 4 could do! He happily modified our time on the fly on the second day and incorporated new and different things we wanted to do. Also, he has some serious insta-worthy photography skills and made sure we had plenty of individual and family photos. Ask for Sabry! We had a great experience being guided by Mohammed. He was very knowledgeable of the history behind the Pyramids that he was showing us. He took great amount of time as much as we wanted to explain the history and the facts about the pyramids. He made it very interesting. He made sure that we had all the photo opportunities that we wanted, which was a lot. We requested him for a second tour, and were not disappointed. It was great to have him accompany us and make sure we were taken care of and not taken advantage of since he knew the culture and the language. We felt like we were in good hands.

We booked a custom one-day tour with Egypt Tailor Made to see Dahshour, the Giza Pyramids, and the Egyptian Museum. Our tour guide, Sabry, was amazing! He was energetic, patient, had great communication skills, and was extremely knowledgeable about Egypt's history. He shared a lot of facts about ancient Egypt, as well as answered all of our questions about modern Egypt. We had a very packed itinerary, but Sabry managed to get us through it all without missing any of the highlights or rushing us. Tipping is a big part of the culture in Egypt, but Sabry never pressured us to tip him or anyone else. This was a refreshing change from our experiences with other tour guides in Luxor and Aswan, who were constantly asking us to tip others and even telling us how much to tip which sometimes seemed unreasonable. My husband and I had also tried to book a photoshoot package for our day in Cairo, but we were unable to do so. We were a bit disappointed, but Sabry kindly offered to take our pictures at each location. He used our three different cameras, suggested fun poses, and gave us plenty of time to take pictures of our own. He even helped me put on an Egyptian-style scarf for the pictures. I would definitely recommend planning a private tour with Egypt Tailor Made. They were quick to respond to my questions despite the 9-hour time difference, and were very professional and helpful in creating my custom itinerary. If you're planning a tour of Cairo, I highly recommend asking for Sabry. You won't be disappointed!

Heba was a great guide! I learned so much from her and she was perfect for me as a solo female traveler. I was able to do the Giza pyramids during a long layover in Cairo and the company made it so easy to do so. Mostafa was also a courteous driver as well.

I made a great decision to book the tour with Egypt Tailor Made, which is also a supplier for Marriott Moments. I was very lucky to be assigned Sabry - he and the driver showed up at the hotel ahead of time and we departed as soon as I was ready. Even though it was a prepaid itinerary, Sabry made me feel like it was a customized tour. On our way to the pyramids in Giza, Sabry walked me through the stories and mythologies of Egyptian history and proposed a routing that involved less walking under the summer sun while making sure to visit every photo worthy corners at the pyramids. Having an excellent guide made a huge difference after arriving at the pyramid site. Sabry has grown acquainted with a lot of administrators at the pyramids through his 14 years career as a guide and his relationship made the entry process very smooth. I didn’t have to speak with anyone and was left alone by the local merchants.
