We went on a tour of Mt. Fuji (& the Oshino/Kawaguchiko area) end of March 2024. Our tour guide was Bob-san & my family & I felt very blessed to have him as our tour guide (& kudos to our very patient driver, Haru-san!). Both Bob-san & Haru-san really helped to make sure we had a fun & memorable tour. We had the bad luck of lots of traffic going to Fuji. Bob-san entertained us with a fun quiz during most of the ride. All of us had fun answering the questions & learning a little more about Japan, Mt. Fuji & Japanese history. Thankfully we were blessed with the good luck of having a perfectly clear view of Fuji all day! Bob-san consistently made sure to ask if we wanted to take pictures & helped us take them! We had a stroke of bad luck trying to reach Oshino lake & last minute he helped us find a place to at least take some pretty pictures of Lake Oshino w Mt. Fuji in the background! With the very busy weekend plus high tourist season we were unable to go Strawberry picking (one of our pre-chosen activities). But Bob-san still made sure we got to eat & buy some strawberries (which we brought back to our hotel & ate throughout the rest of the trip!). The strawberries were delicious & everything (& more than) what we expected. We also explored the Shinobi no Sato (ninja village), which included letting the kids (8 & 4 years old) rent ninja costumes, play on a really fun obstacle course/playground, explore a trick house (where we learned about the many tricks & secrets ninjas used to hide & enter houses) & watch a ninja arts show! We also visited the Tabi no Eki (kawaguchiko base store). We didn’t get to fully explore this place but there were so many crafts & foods here. It would make a great last minute pit stop for souvenirs or just to rest. It was very peaceful & beautiful, a wonderful mix of modern & nature. Finally, we were able to spend some time at the Arakurayama Sengen Park, including the famous Pagoda & small visit to the shrine. The stairs were arduous for us to climb, but in retrospect it was worth it for the stunning views. We also loved visiting the temple: we washed our hands & mouths with the waters from Mt. Fuji & got some fortunes (thankfully all generally lucky!!). We didn’t get to explore as much or try a lot of the food due to time constraints, but definitely if you’re visiting the Sengen park check out some of the vendors here!! Everything looked delicious & interesting. Bob-san really went above & beyond to make this tour special for us. He really helped us out & accommodated us, especially the young kids & my elderly parents. We had some itinerary issues because of the crowds & high tourist season, but Bob-san really made sure we got our money’s worth. He stayed in long lines for us so we wouldn’t waste too much time in lines & pointed out activities & places to take photos or check out. He was also very flexible - helping us to change plans on the fly! He was also very communicative & easy to talk to. I highly recommend taking a tour with Bob-san! He was very kind, so accommodating & did his absolute best to make sure our trip was amazing. My niece missed him a lot the rest of the week! We definitely would do this tour again & especially with Bob-san!

Our guide Tomomi and our driver Mr. Hayashi were wonderful! They truly did their best to give my husband and I a great tour. Our favorite parts were seeing the cherry blossoms, the Aokigahara forest, and the Bat Cave national monument. And to top off a great day we were able to see a peek of Mt. Fuji despite the cloudy day. We also had a delicious lunch of a local dish. We loved learning more about the history of this wonderful country. We would do this tour again if we returned 😊

We requested a tour to Mt. FUJI, Kawaguchiko Lake, and Ashi Lake with car and private guide. It was a wonderfull experience. Our guide was very professional and precise managing the schedule perfectly not leaving out anything that qas scheduled. Strongly recommend.

My family and I booked the Tokyo Star Agency's private car tour of the Mount Fuji 5-lakes region in early-April (2024). The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our entire vacation. Our guide, Taisho, and our driver, Tak, provided an incredible experience that our family will cherish and remember throughout our lifetime. They were able to accommodate our customized itinerary as well as take us to several other popular and historic sites within the area. The sights were breathtaking, but the historical information both Taisho and Tak provided made everything that much more amazing. It really felt like we were travelling with two close friends. If you have an opportunity to take a tour with them, I would highly recommend it. Thank you again, Taisho and Tak!!!

We had a wonderful experience and it was really made special with our local Japanese tour guide Tomomi san and an experienced and friendly driver/guide Toshi san. We saw Japan like a Japanese and We felt like being a part of the places we visited and diing things the Japanese way. Our route was very interesting and the places were beautiful and away from the crowd of tourists. I would really be HAPPY to book another guides tour with them in the future. I wish to thank Tomomi san and Toshii san for making our tour memorable.

We had a wonderful day with Masae as our guide and Tak as our driver. We were fortunate to have a clear day and see Mt Fuji all day. Masae was very knowledgeable, fantastic English speaking, and so sweet with my daughter, as was Tak. Highly recommend any tour she is taking.

The tour was really interesting and great because our guide Tomomi san was knowlegeable andattentive to all our needs. Our driver Mr. Inagaki was very experienced and friendly. Both of them went out of their way to show us the most beautiful scenic spots in Hakone and Mt. Fuji.

Our guide for the day was Mazda san. We got 3-for-1 with him - He is a great guide, a very safe driver, and a creative photographer. He went over various options, heard our preferences and came up with a custom itinerary for the day. For example, he took as to an onsen in Mt Fuji and set aside 45 minutes for a bike tour as we requested. He provide a lot of information through out the day and took pictures of our family w/ great enthusiasm. One of the best, if not the best, guide we have seen in the 4 continents we have toured.

We took a one day tour to see Mt Fuji up close. Our guide Yoshimi was very good taking us to all the best vantage points for photos to capture our families memories of that perfect day with the sacred mountain

Mazda-San was our guide and gave us a tour of the lake area. We were fortunate enough the get a good look at Mt. Fuji throughout the day. Mazda is fluent in Japanese, English and Mandarin. He was punctual, patient, accommodating, super knowledgeable and a wonderful photographer. He made suggestions to our initial interest list which made for such a better day. He also recommended a local restaurant for lunch - had some delicious hoto. Minivan was clean and comfortable. Will definitely seek out Mazda for our next tour! Perfect 5 out of 5 🤗

Bob san and Takei san were our hosts for the trip. They were exemplary guides. Once they realised we might enjoy strawberry picking, they immediately adjusted the itinerary to make sure we had a short stop to do just that. What a beautiful and fantastical spot that was! They were also extremely patient to the barrage of questions that we had about the Mt. Fuji area and Japan. We were lucky to be doing the trip during the peak Sakura season and both of them were kind enough to stop the car in many many places so that we could capture memorable pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

The trip overall was amazing. It was really catered to our needs. We have seen such wonderful view of Mt fuji in less crowded area. Both the guide (Tomomi) and the driver (Toshi) were lovely and knowledgeable. The lunch was really tasty and accomodated to the option of vegetarian/ opting meat choices.

It is a wonderful and amazing experience. We were accompanied by Mr Taiji. He was very experience and knowledgable. He was very flexible as well catering to our needs. You get to enjoy amazing views and a wonderful array of activities all personalised for you.

We went on a fun family tour of Mt. Fuji with Yuko, where we saw the mountain from the lake, explored some ice caves, went on a walk in the woods of the mountain, took photos with the sakura & peach trees, had authentic local foods, and picked strawberries. Although our day trip from Tokyo did not bless us with good weather (we didn’t see mt Fuiji) our guide Teddy was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Ensuring we were cared for and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our day trip to the Fuji lakes area and our guide Aki san and driver Tak san were excellent. They understood what our interests were and kept customising the trip to what we would enjoy the most. Very happy with the entire experience.
