We enjoyed a full day tour with Pablo. He customized the agenda to show us not only the most significant parts of the city but also some special places which revealed the true character of Buenos Aires. Pablo was able to combine history, culture, and art into a wonderful story of the city’s origins and development into what we saw. Together with his driving partner, Pablo made the most of our time, managing challenges posted by the weather, traffic, and road closures. We enjoyed a typical working Argentine lunch and local drink together before getting some great recommendations for dinner and entertainment. This was a perfect way to get our introduction to the city and the country.

We are two couples from Ontario, Canada who hired Pablo to give us a city tour of Buenos Aires on February 4th and to arrange a dinner and tango the evening of February 3rd. In addition to being well organized and very knowledgeable, Pablo has a great sense of humour that makes learning and experiencing Buenos Aires a joy. His quaint stories about historical sites were memorable and super fun. His caring nature in responding to emails, whatsapp messages about non-tour related issues, acting as our translator more often than not before and after our arranged tour (missing luggage at airport, shopping for replacement clothes for an extra tall hubby, taxi issues to name a few), and ensuring we were safe, has endeared him to us forever. Because of him, we have only fond memories of his beautiful city and its people. What a great ambassador he is for Buenos Aires!

My wife and I just came back from a week long vacation in Buenos Aires and spent 5 days with Pablo and his trusted driver, Fabian. Without question, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever been on! Pablo created an itinerary that was captivating and showed us the true beauty, culture and elegance of Argentina. Although our stay in Buenos Aires was limited to a few days, Pablo provided us a great variety of impressions and experiences in the city. It was not only about seeing the major sights. rather, Pablo offered a mix of classic sights and authentic places away from the guidebooks. The tour was very much customized to our interests. If you book a full day tour with him, and then also he may bring his good friend/driver Fabien as a pilot, and then you are all set. Touring BA or out to the Delta and Tigre will be a success. We had a really enjoyable full day seeing so many of the main sights of Buenos Aires. We found Pablo great company, very knowledgeable and everything delivered with great humour! His English and understanding was excellent. The day was tailored exactly to what we wanted to do, and was perfect. The driver too was also very good and they worked very well together, with him stopping his vehicle at precisely the right spots for the best viewpoint of particular buildings and sights, sending what Pablo wanted to show us next. Pablo also arranged for us to visit a tango show one evening and kindly dropped us off at the venue. He also provided us with excellent contacts in other parts of South America. We could not have had a better day - highly recommend if you want a comprehensive tour of BA.

After trekking through Patagonia for 13 days, a small group of us (five people) hired Pablo for a three-day van + walking tour through Buenos Aires. I'd never hired a private tour guide before -- and am now convinced this is the best way to see the city. Pablo's vast knowledge, friendliness, sense of humor and ability to negotiate great deals made our time in Buenos Aires truly memorable. From visiting Evita Peron's tomb and enjoying a Tango show to taking a boat ride down the Tigre River and walking through La Boca, we did it all. Hire Pablo! My wife and I hired Pablo for two days, each day with a private taxi (the driver, Favio, was excellent). One day we toured the city, which Pablo tailored exactly to our needs - and amazed us with his depth of knowledge. The other day we went with Pablo to the Tigre delta, an interesting side trip out of BA. My wife's father used to live in a suburb of BA, and Pablo went out of his way to create a special tour of that area just for us! We couldn't have had a better guide, and we had a great time.

Thank you Pablo for a great day in BA! We are a group of 10 friends going on a two-week cruise round trip from BA in January, 2019. We decided to arrive a couple of days earlier to explore BA. We are so lucky that we found Pablo on the internet. We communicated with Pablo via emails prior to our tour and his responses and suggestions were excellent. He arranged a 14-person van to take us around the city. The van is in a very good condition with AC. He tailored the tour to our interests and more. Pablo shared his knowledge of Argentine history, culture, politics, and, of course, soccer/football with us along the way. Being a solo female traveler with limited time in Buenos Aires, I wanted a safe way to see as much of Buenos Aires as I could. I booked a whole day tour with a private driver. The cost was well worth it. Pablo arranged a female driver so I would feel more comfortable. He accommodated my preferences to see certain sights around BA, and took those ideas and showed me similar sights as well. The restaurant we went to was amazing. The stories Pablo tells are so interesting. He is very knowledgeable, it sounds like he's lived there for centuries. He is such a friendly person. His English is impeccable. I felt very safe touring with him and his driver, Marcela. I left the tour a little sad, it felt like I was leaving friends.

I hired Pablo for one and half days to show me around the city. He was a great guide who tailored his tour to my interests and wishes. I cannot recommend more highly. He showed me ‘hidden corners’ but did not miss out the major sights and I enjoyed the mix of walking, tube travel and taxis. He took me to a great restaurant and interesting places for snacks and coffee. He speaks excellent English and was able to talk knowledgeably on a range of subjects.The perfect way to be introduced to Buenos Aires.

Pablo was truly “our friend in Buenos Aires”!!! The communication with him pre-arrival had been excellent, he dealt with every question promptly and offered lots of helpful advice, including booking us the VIP tango package at Piazzola for a very reasonable price. He was not daunted by the fact that we had to cram a lot into five hours (we only had one full day available for sightseeing in BA) and did his best to accommodate our individual interests. Most importantly, Pablo is simply an absolutely lovely person who speaks great English and is a pleasure to be around! Equally, his driver Fabian was a lovely guy who insisted on taking us to the airport the next day as well. We visited different BA neighbourhoods to explore the architecture and history and loved the tales he told us about the spite and rivalry between different leading families and political opponents (sounds like even by today’s standards, Portenos have developed spite into an art-form!) We also loved a couple of stops off the beaten track like a visit to Violeta Café (which reminded me so much of growing up in Vienna with its beautiful Art Deco windows, dark wood and miles of delicious cake vitrins!) and the fresh food market. Of course, we also went to Boca where we didn’t only see the Bombonera stadium of Boca Juniors but also were lucky enough to witness a fantastic impromptu tango performance in front of a café. Pablo, who is a tango expert, assured us that the (Colombian) couple’s skills actually surpassed that displayed in most of the regular tango shows. They were breathtaking to watch! After a delicious lunch of empanadas (we had told Pablo that we only wanted a snack), he took us to the Casa Rosada and further landmarks downtown. In the evening, he accompanied us to the Piazzola theatre to make sure that we would get a lovely balcony from which to watch the tango show. The following morning he texted us several times to make sure Fabian was taking us to the airport on time. He took his duties of looking after us very seriously and couldn’t have been a kinder, more considerate and more helpful guide! Gracias, Pablo, and I promise I’ll keep practising my Argentine “ll”!!!

The itinerary was good and I did see a lot of BA. The tour was expensive (USD224) to begin with and ended up costing even more with additional taxis (I booked a walking tour) and food I had to shell out.
