Luigi was amazing!!!! He took us around the Almalfi coast for the entire day. Not only did he explain clearly what the day would entail, including many quick stops for photos but how long we would have in each town. He was a great driver as well. Arrived on-time and handled the tricky road with ease. But it was Luigi himself, as our local guide, which made this a wonderful experience for our family. He shared history and stories as a life long resident of the area. He pointed out everything from fancy homes to all of the flora and fauna. He was so nice and friendly and we had a wonderful day of comfortable conversations. It was as if we were taking a tour with an old friend. It was the perfect last day in Italy after a 10 days trip. I would also like to commend the staff at the tour company. They contacted me soon after booking to let me Know we could leave a bit later in the morning since it was not the high season and it would not take as long. They even issued a small refund. All in all a perfect experience. If you book with this company ask for Luigi!

We had 2 different drivers pick us up in 2 different ports while on a cruise ship. We communicated with Sarah and she was always very responsive and helped us come up with 2 great trips based on the ports we were in. Both drivers, Alberto (Coca-Cola) and Arturo were excellent. English was good and with Sarahs planning we were the first on Mt Vesuvius and avoided all the crowds. We had a great lunch at a winery and very much enjoyed our time with AP tours and will definitely use again. Everything was right on time and so much nicer to have an expert drive the Amafali coast. Coca-Cola even made reservations for us in Revello so we had a great view of the coast. We will definitely use again.

Our drivers were so vital to our enjoyment of southern Italy. We had three different private drivers picking us up in 3 different hotels during our stay. Our travel planner who has visited Italy herself more than 60 times certainly knows who to pick as a driver service. We will definitely use them again in the future as they were prompt, professional, very polite and had a clean appearance and vehicle. Choose them with confidence you will not be disappointed.

Just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank you’ for the Amalfi coast organising with military precision! We were a group of 6 girls celebrating our 60th over 6 days on the coast. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. The cars were immaculate…8 seater Merc vans All the drivers; Giovanni, Alberto & Arturo were fab and so witty, humorous and caring! They spoke good English and were excellent guides en route too And skilled! Much needed for the long drives on the Amalfi coast. Our pick up and drop off to Naples station was smooth & efficient, as were our trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where other guides were arranged. We did day trips to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Paestum, the olive farms & Limencello factory from Sorrento where we were staying at Villa Puolo. Unfortunately we missed going to Vesuvius because of an accident en route and the traffic jams that followed. Alberto made every effort with plans B&C but we couldn’t make it …so Plan D worked, where he dropped us off at Naples for a walk about and some yummy treats. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. They made our trip so enjoyable and stress free! 100% recommended! Best wishes Sharmila

This is the second time we used Aptours. Only one word can express the experience, Outstanding! The detail to the arrangements to being met at the port and being picked up to the actual tour its self. Alberto our guide was so on top of everything. Being stuck in the tunnel to Sorrento due to a buckle in the road was not an issue and an alternative was suggested from our olive factory tour to time to walk around and enjoy Sorrento. Alberto guided us to where to walk and what to see. It was most enjoyable and glad we did it. A visit to a third generation farm with a family welcoming us with open arms to a wine tasting at the foot of Mt Vesuvius. What experiences! We had a great day in the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii with APTours! Our driver, Marco, picked up our party of 5 from Naples port and drove us down the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast to Positano, where we had roughly an hour to explore the coastline. He was very friendly as he introduced us to the area because it was our first time there. Due to time concerns we removed an additional stop in Ravello, then we explored Pompeii without a guide and returned to the port well on schedule. All in all I would recommend APTours, their pricing was also very reasonable for the services provided.

We were uncomfortable renting a car to drive on the narrow roads so we hired a driver to take us. It was SO worth it. He knew where to stop and was good about sharing information and pointing out sites along the way. It was raining all day so it was a good day for a ride and short stops in each town. He was flexible and gave us time to do what we wanted in each place. His recommendations were often in line with our research. Worth it!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. My husband and I were picked up at our hotel for a private tour of Amalfi Coast. It was absolutely gorgeous and as pretty as the pics are, to see it in real life is breath taking. We were treated like a king and queen by Angelo and provided timing flexibility to stay at each of the 3 stops. In addition to learning all about the Amalfi Coast, we had some great conversations on Italy customs vs US. He also recommended an amazing restaurant in Ravello where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and provided some fabulous restaurants near our hotel in Sorrento. Angelo could not have been nicer or more accommodating. It was an amazing day!

Great tour of the Amalfi Coast. Knowledgeable tour guide. We have a fun beautiful day visiting Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano. Without booking this tour we never checked all our wishlist.

The entire drive across the Amalfi Coast was fantastic, as was the stop in each town. Our driver Giovanni did a fantastic job with the private tour. I would recommend this trip without question!

My wife and I were lucky enough to travel not one but twice with AP Tours and the incomparable Gianne. It was absolutely incredible traveling from Pompei, to Sorrento, to Positano and then ultimately stopping at our Hotel (Hotel Belvedere). Gianne was the perfect combination of attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. From the moment we were picked up, it felt as if we were going out for a drive with an old friend. After our initial trip, we were so impressed that we decided to book another trip to do Amalfi, Ravello, Maiori and Minori. Once again, we were greeted by our old friend Gianne! I can confidently say, that having used AP Tours on this trip, we will not be using any other provider going forward, when we return to southern Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour in large part due to our driver, Carmine! He is funny, thoughtful and knowledgable! Definitely a safe and reliable driver, and gave tips for our travel while in Italy! We left feeling as though we had a new friend.

Our tour was incorrectly scheduled by our travel agent and AP tours went beyond our expectations to solve the issues we were having and sent a car to pick us up with in a few hours. Our guide was fantastic and we totally enjoyed our tour of Amalfi. We also booked AP for our trip from Sorrento to Caserta to visit family and the trip was enjoyable with the same on time service and a complete professional excursion. The vehicles were both a Mercedes van and car, very clean and comfortable.

We were cruising east coast of Italy and decided to hire APtours for a shore excursion. Our driver know as Alberto "Coca Cola", was expecting us at the Salerno port. He was very knowledgeable about the cities and places. We visited Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi Coast, Amalfi town and Ravelo. He took us to Pompeii (where a private guide was expecting us) and after two hours we headed/traveled through the beautiful Amalfi Coast. He took the time to explain everything and took pictures as requested. We totally recommend the tour and the tour guide. Excellent service.

We decided on a private tour with AP Tours based on the favorable reviews here on tripadvisor opposed to our cruise ship's excursion. We were not disappointed. Our driver, Emilio, was waiting for us as we disembarked the ship and we were off for a full day of sightseeing. Emilio was great informing us of Italian history, the Amalfi coast, and driving along the narrow roads. It was a fantastic day and one we'll not forget and Emilio made it that much better!

Well before our tour, we found that our dealings with Sarah were timely, accommodating and very professional. Initially booked as a private tour for 2, we had two extra friends join us, then two more, all within 48 hours of our tour. Sarah accommodated these changes without hassle, which was quite comforting as we were in transit in other parts of Italy. The quality of the driver, vehicle and actual tour, was superb and just like the itinerary describes. The Amalfi Coast area is awe inspiring, busy, with lots of winding roads and great photo opportunities. We are so glad that we did this as a small group tour and not a large bus, as we were nimble enough to get through the traffic congestion and personalise our time in each of the 3 towns we visited. We also opted for the fantastic boat tour at Amalfi, which gives a whole new perspective on the area, plus some enlightening commentary on board. If you are visiting this region, then I would definitely reach out to Sarah at her team.

We visited Napoli as a group of 8 people. Our guide, Arturo, met us at the port on time and with great enthusiasm, which set the tone for the day. Arturo was very knowledgeable and the van was spacious and clean. Since we were a private tour, he was able to accommodate the two additional stops we asked for in addition to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. He worked them into the route without any problem. When we arrived in Pompeii, we were met by our guide, Pina. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Pina also managed our time well, keeping us from wandering off. We learned a lot in two hours. I booked our September tour online in July. Sarah, was very responsive to all of my questions. We had also booked another tour for Florence but unfortunately our cruise ship had mechanical issues and we never made it there. When I found out about the last minute itinerary change, I immediately sent Sarah an email explaining the problem. It was 22:00 so I did not expect a response, but Sarah responded within 30 minutes. Overall, my entire experience with AP Tours was fantastic. I highly recommend them.
