We had a wonderful day of excursions with Yut! We were thankful to not only be able to take in the vistas but also to be able to actually hike. Yut was generous with sharing his knowledge and did an excellent job of coordinating lunch and local guides.

This private tour to Doi Inthanon is well-worth the extra cost compared to other day tours from Chiang Mai. We chose the tour option with two hikes—first, the Kew Mae Pan trail and second, the Pha Dok Soew trail. We really appreciated the opportunity to do a bit more trekking than most of the other tour companies provide. Our guide, Yut, was exceptional: he informed us about Thai history and culture, Buddhism, and the Karen people and was extremely attentive and thoughtful throughout the day. He even went out of his way to ensure that my wife, who has celiac disease, could enjoy a gluten free lunch. We also were very grateful for our Karen guide, Bok, whom Yut set us up with to tour the Pha Dok Soew trail. He, too, generously shared his knowledge of the Karen and the local ecology and topography. For many, visiting Doi Inthanon is a letdown, traveling as they do to a handful of sites by car and hardly ever experiencing the natural beauty of the park. For us, visiting Doi Inthanon was a real adventure and one of the best day trips we did in Thailand.

We did the private tour of 2 trekking trails at Doi Inthanon National Park and would recommend to anyone! Puma, our driver and guide, was absolutely wonderful. Puma had extremely interesting facts that they shared with us throughout the trip and made sure we had an excellent experience. Thank you, Puma! The treks were great. Easy terrain, beautiful views, and wonderful nature. We loved the Maeklang Laung coffee and bought some to bring home! Lunch was also very good. Highly recommend for a great day!

We had the best time on this trip with Nui! He was such a funny guy, was super friendly and informative, and a great photographer. Everywhere we went he offered to take pictures of us and they were always amazing! He's also a really great driver. Seriously ask for Nui if you do this - you'll be happy you did! The first trek is a little uphill in the beginning, but anyone of moderate fitness level will be fine! There are great views all along the way, and the trail is practically pristine the whole way. You go through different eco systems which is fun to learn about as well! Lunch was delicious! It was so much food for the two of us and we loved it The second trail is almost entirely downhill. Easy, but a little rough on the knees. Wonderful waterfalls though! Depending on time of year, you cut through a strawberry field and can buy a snack! With both treks you have a local hill tribe guide. This is a great outdoor day to a beautiful part of Northern Thailand. The company is so well organized and really takes great care of you. We couldn't recommend it more!

We recently did the full day tour with two different treks and we really enjoyed it!! Our guide was great, full of chat and he looked after us really well. We were picked up at about 8am from our hotel in the centre of Chiang Mai, and dropped back by about 6pm. After about a 1.5hr drive we had a quick stop for coffee at a waterfall in the park. Then we did a lovely 3km trek at the top of Doi Ithannon (fab views!), with a local trail guide. We had a quick look around the pagoda near the top and this was followed by lunch at a local restaurant...somewhere we would never have stopped ourselves but our guide wanted us to try a particular local dish! After lunch we did another 3km-ish trek lower down in the valley, with another local guide. This was a lot quieter than the first trek and the views different, but just as amazing! All finished off in a village with coffee from a local plantation, yum! We had booked this trip in advance of traveling to Thailand based on Trip Advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed, we really enjoyed the day. Our guide was really helpful throughout, providing water and some local snacks and ensuring that we were happy with the lunch food. We would really recommend this tour!

We had a great time on our day trip. Taew was a great guide! We saw many waterfalls and ate great food! Taew did a great job explaining Thailand culture and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Very well organized tour in Doi Inthanon. Our private driver/guide was very professional and very friendly. He took a lot of pictures of us and send them back to us at the end of the day. The walks are really easy (20mn and 1h15), even for 8 years old children. Not sportive at all. But a lot of wetness (rain Forrest) and muddy paths, in August. Very nice landscape and vegetation.

Highly recommend activity for a day in Chiang Mai. Our guide and driver was very friendly and informative. The car was super comfortable 4x4 so travel was easy. Guide from the national park tribe was friendly, spoke good English and told us a lot about plants and animals we saw during the walk. At the end we had coffee in the village. Lunch was very tasty and according to our spicy-ness level (i.e. mild). The tour took almost 10 hours in total with 2 hrs of hiking in the park.

This was en excellent tour. Our 2 guides Nui and Book were very friendly and informative. The first trek was the 2 hour nature walk after which we stopped for a really nice lunch. The second trek with Book followed the river down to the Karen Village visiting a number of waterfalls. The tour finished at the Karen Village with a tasting of locally made coffee. Nui and Book also very kindly took a number of photos and videos for us. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We opted for a private tour to have more flexibility. Our day started at 8.30 and our tour guide was very ponctuel. We had a very pleasant day starting at Wachiratharn Waterfall, visiting two pagodas in the National Park and ending with a trekking in the Doi Inthanon National Park. The tour was well organised and we had a yummy lunch in the Park that was included. We were back in Chiang Mai around 6pm which was just perfect. I can certainly recommend Pagoda Tours
