It was a first rate tasting of some of the best wines in Burgundy. Very personal, informative, but not overwhelming. Learned a lot, including how to quickly decode Burgundy wine bottle labels. Went home with some bottles we tasted. Well worth it.

Informative, casual wine tasting. We were not rushed and had plenty of privacy to discuss our wines. Our host answered questions and even made a great suggestion for lunch!

Eight great selections, pours big enough to get a decent taste, Alex a great explainer/discussant in French or English. Great. Because they're vendors not a wine producer, you get a sample from across the region.

We had a great time and learned so much! Alex was a wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable host. He answered all of our questions with ease, precision, and spoke with great authority. The wine was also excellent, and we would recommend this private tasting to anyone!

Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through our tastings. We had time on our own to taste after each pour before discussing with Alex. Very relaxed and under no pressure. Excellent for the amateur without feeling intimidated. An amazing selection of wines to purchase. Would definitely go again now with a little more knowledge.

It was an excellent wine tasting experience. The wine expert Alex was very knowledgeable and humorous. Because they prefer to schedule small groups, I and my 2 friends in the group received a custom tailored session appropriate to our knowledge level. We have plenty of time to ask questions and get answers. We tasted 9 wines ranging from €38 to €195 per bottle. The portion we tasted was about 2 ounces for each wine. This wine tasting session far exceeded my expectations! Since the class was taught in a wine retailer’s shop, and not in a specific winery, they were not partial to any brand, or to any region of wine production. The wine expert Alex told us that we could have requested to taste wines from other regions of France or from any other parts of the world.

Alexandre was excellent. Wonderful discussions and tasting of high quality Burgundy wines. We’ve had 100+ wine tastings over the years (mainly US west coast, plus Spain, Italy, Croatia) and this one is fabulous and memorable.

Alex is super knowledgeable about everything Burgundy. His passion shines through the tasting we did but also the selection at the store. Cannot recommend it enough — whether you’re a beginner to Burgundian wine or an expert. Must visit.

Alex has an excellent knowledge of wine, and with his relaxed personality, he made the wine tasting very informative and fun. Alex was able to ask all of the questions that we asked, and we left the tasting feeling we knew a lot more about Burgundy wine than when we started.

Alex led us through the complexities of Burgundian wine with an enthusiastic and deeply knowledgeable presentation. The wines offered to taste were mostly high end in terms of quality and price so we felt this was very good value for money. This is perfect start for anyone starting on wines of the Beaune region.

Deux heures de dégustation seul avec l'oenologue, 8 vins, dont 4 grands crus et 2 premiers crus, le tout pour un prix raisonnable, voilà qui change très agréablement avec les "dégustations "classiques de Beaune généralement bâclées avec des vins bien plus modestes.

Perfecte opbouw van een wijnproeverij. Een week in de Bourgogne geweest en veel wijnen mogen proeven. Alleen bij deze proeverij werden ook wijnen aangeboden ouder dan 2021. Ook de kennis was perfect. Alle vragen werden beantwoord. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Kom hier zeker nog een keer terug!
