Santorini is stunning and very easy to get lost! Our guide Tony, did a great job taking us directly to the best spots for absolutely gorgeous views. He was knowledgeable about the island and culture. He made a fantastic recommendation for wine tasting at a unique vineyard. We conversed with Lia from their office staff at VIP Santorini ahead of time. Lia did a great job answering all our questions and she had very strong great communication skills. We highly recommend this tour so that you can maximize your experience in Santorini!

Theirs is the perfect way to spend the day. Santorini was a port stop during our cruise. Our tour guide, Duke, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Because we booked a private tour (party of 4) he was able to tailor the tour to our preferences. Duke also did a fabulous job of planning to stops to minimize crowds. We ended the day with a visit to a local winery, Venet Santos, the wine was wonderful and the views were fabulous!

George Duke was our guide, and he was terrific. He picked us up and drove us to different places in a nice Mercedes van with leather seats, opening the doors for us at each stop. He asked about our specific interests, and tailored our tour accordingly. I got to see and enter a cliff-side, centuries-old monastery that the ordinary visitor would never know was there. More for my wife was a winery tour, for example. Meanwhile, as we drove around, George gave highly educated answers to my many questions about the island, including the, culture, history and geography.

Tony made our short time in Santorini absolutely incredible! I would definitely recommend him, outstanding service!

Santorini far exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Vegelia was knowledgeable and surprised us with a visit to the most breathtaking views at a lighthouse! It was amazing. We requested local cuisine and he took us to a small local restaurant that was delicious. Highly recommend this tour and guide.

Very personable driver who met us at top of Cable car in Santorini and showed us all the beautiful locations on the island while giving us a comprehensive history of the island. We are an elderly couple so he was attentive to our walking needs. I could highly recommend this tour and Alex our driver.

There’s no way that we would’ve been able to have such an enjoyable and relaxing time visiting all of the must-see sights if we had to figure it out on our own. Amazing! Our guide Themis, a Greek-American who spoke both languages fluently was amazing and knew all the best places to go. Helped us take photos and was very helpful and knowledgable. Best iced coffee and Gyros we've ever had and beautiful sights and photos. Thank you Themis!

Great tour & guide Duke was excellent & took us to the main tourist areas & some quieter places as well. Got some amazing pics of the blue dome churches.

We enjoyed this tour - Alex was our guide and he was awesome. We also had a driver. It was a big car (we were family of 4) and they covered the entire island for the 6 hour tour. They picked us up from Oia where were staying and took us to Red beach, black beach, the towns Fira, Meglachori , Perivolos, Firostefani, cave, Akrotori archeological site, light house, monastery. They dropped us off at Dantis wines where are dinner and watched sunset. For an additional charge, they dropped us back after dinner to our hotel. It was a great way to cover the entire island and we could not have asked for a better guide than Alex!!

Had the best tour guide that knew all the best photo spots and he spoke English very well which made the experience even better! The tour company did an excellent job with communicating with pick up time & delivery back to the airport! I would highly recommend this tour company & when I return, I will definitely ask for the same tour guide!

We had a very good tour of the island and would recommend the private tour. This hit all the high points and gave lots of opportunities for photographs of this pretty island. Although a bit more expensive then a group tour we were able to go at our own speed and ask questions directly. If you only have a few days in Santorini this was the way to see the island. Parking is an issue in Santorini this is a much better option than renting a car.

From the time of booking to the end of the tour the communication and organisation was second to none. Our guide Tony was kind, considerate, a very safe and respectful driver, with a great deal of knowledge of the area and the history of the island. I can not recommend this tour enough. It took the stress out being a tourist. You will definitely not be disappointed.

I decided last minute to book a custom tour so that I would not repeat any locales that were already visited. I contacted VIP Transfers & Tours in Santorini via email to see if it were possible. Operations Manager Megan was quick to respond and answered any questions I had. Megan was more than accommodating while I had to work out a 4 hour long fiasco with the credit card company that lasted past midnight local time. Even after all that, Megan sent one of their best drivers/tour guides George Duke. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Duke listened to my requests for the remaining sights I wanted to see as well as suggested one that I had overlooked. He was beyond patient as I worked in some souvenir shopping as well. Duke was extremely well versed on how to get to the "hidden spots" for amazing photos (and he is a great picture taker too!) I would highly recommend VIP Transfers & Tours in Santorini - it was well worth it!

This was a perfect tour that suited our needs! We were looking to “hit the highlights” and our driver, George, delivered! We knew of a couple things we wanted to see, which George happily took us to. And he also suggested many places we were unaware of which rounded out our tour. It was great being able to customize the trip and to still feel like we saw all the major sites (and some fantastic minor ones!). The car was modern, clean and comfortable. And George was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with! Definitely recommend this tour!
