My kids favorite part of our vacation! The instructors were great with my kids, helped them a lot so they could have the best experience!

Our 14 year old went surfing for the first time and had a great time! Got up half a dozen times. Her instructor, Ali, could not have been better! She was nice, friendly, supportive, and just generally cool.

Great first surf lesson. Our instructor Ali was super fun and encouraging. It felt great to catch the first wave, and we received great advice from the instructors. Overall very fun experience and we will definitely be coming back!

Signed my three nieces up for a semi private lesson. They had an amazing time. Ali was was a great instructor. She was very positive and encouraging and helped them really enjoy themselves while learning how to surf.

I did a 90 minute surf lesson with Dylan. Was very impressed with his encouragement, patience and maturity (was honestly very surprised to learn at the end of our lesson that he was still in high school). He made the lesson a lot of fun, and was able to help me get in a decent number of reps standing on the board (despite the fact that I'm not a good swimmer and knew very little about surfing beforehand). I had such a great time that I ended up going back for another lesson - no hesitation at all about recommending this experience if you're on the fence.

It was fun I got to my feet a few times it was definitely worth the money instructor was wonderful and very patient. I would definitely recommend you to anybody who is coming to the Island

The most fantastic surfing coach ever: skilled, patient and knows his boards and waters. If not for him I might have never caught a single wave )-: -- but I did! (-: Plus, the location choise is great as well: I am a total newbie -- on some other Kona beach it might have been one whipe out after another, but in these waters I felt safe. It was a great ride! If you are lucky enough to have Dylan & Victor as your instructors you will have a great time! They are fun, knowledgable and my teens had a blast with them.

My two teen boys and I had an awesome time with Dylan, Toby, and Juliana! It was so fun! Thank you guys so much for the shove to stay in front of the wave and for the fun chitchat as we waited. Also, the tows were nice when my old arms started to get tired from the paddling. Haha! Also, lots of good advice for food, a tattoo shop, and skate spots! Nice crew! Fun time!

Brought 10 and 5 year old. First time surfing. Instructors were great and patient. Kids were up on the boards mid lesson. Kids loved it so much wanted to stay for additional sessions

We had so much fun celebrating my daughters 11th birthday taking a semi-private surf lesson with Kona Town Surf Adventures. Asher and Xion where excellent instructors and made us all feel confident in the water. I booked a few days prior to our reservation and communication was very clear. My only feedback was the surf borads we used were pretty beat up and torn. Other than that, I highly recommend this family own and run business.

These surf instructors are the best! Even on a day with not much of a break, they found a way to get us out there and standing up on the board with the little waves we were able to catch. They were incredibly supportive and the longboards make it easy to get adjusted on the water.

Fun experience!! The surf was calm, but we did manage to catch a few waves. Our two guides were great - friendly, fun to talk to, and informative. Highly recommend adding this event to your itinerary. Side note - the waves tend to be better earlier in the morning.

Had a great time! This was my first time surfing and they had me standing up on the board and riding waves in the first 20 minutes! Very friendly and patient. Highly recommend Kona Town Surf Adventures for surf lessons!
