Lisa was a great guide, energetic and very friendly. The tour was informative, she was easy to follow and understand (odd stories on ghost tours, but that’s the point!) and we had a blast!

She was super engaging and energetic, very knowledgeable with the stories that she told about the history. When my husband and I first got here to Vienna, we thought that they really isn’t much to it except for shopping and after completing this tour, we really did get to get the full story of the history of the town. There is so much depth! She also had great tips as well recommended to spend the rest of our time here. This was an unexpected fantastic and fun experience. I had booked this instead of a normal sightseeing tour as both my daughter and I are interested in the darker sides of history. Our tour guide Lisa was absolutely amazing. Super knowledgeable, animated and welcoming! We met up in the evening, and she guided us through the city centre and told us lots of interesting back stories of the various places and buildings. It was a trip back in time. If you like to hear about the dark and bloody times of Vienna led by a great guide, I can highly recommend this private tour.

Five of us (all adults) took the tour on July 26. Our guide, Lisa, is a Vienna native, but due to her time in Miami, speaks English with no discernable accent. She was very engaging and high-energy as she escorted us down the streets (and some alleyways) of old Vienna. You'll learn about the Blood Countess, the Basilisk and other dark or spooky elements of Vienna's history that the other tours leave out. It was easy to find the meeting place (and locate Lisa), and, as at least one other review sort of indicated, it felt like we kind of had the city to ourselves that evening. While I didn't think there were too many genuine "chills," the mood was still great and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

If the concept of a Spooky Vienna Ghost Tour sounds even a little fun to you, I want to wholly endorse this tour. I have taken a lot of private tours, and Lisa's was one of the most memorable and just flat out *fun*. For my wife and I, this was due to two separate components, the content of the tour and the guide. The content is spooky, fun, and most of all SURPRISING. Vienna is beautiful and regal, but the fact is that it's been a major city in Europe for a very long time, and some downright creepy stuff happened in this city! I really don't want to spoil any surprises, but I was surprised enough to explain out loud several times. You will stop at places whose story has permeated pop culture, created icons, and they make up part of an incredible historical fabric. The guide we had, Lisa, was one of those people that radiated fun, a real joy in her weird Spooky city, and absolute competence in her craft. I found myself completely drawn in to her stories, and as a testament to her ability, it never felt contrived or forced, it was story after story that weaved together. She is an absolute top tier guide. Lisa also provided us with other general information about the city which was really great! If you're on the fence about this tour, ask yourself: "am I in the mood to see spooky, weird and offbeat stuff, in Vienna, with an awesome host?" If you are, the decision to take this tour is easy.

Everyone in our group is from Vienna. For my friend’s Birthday we celebrated with all the fascinating spooky and most important REAL stories the inner city of Vienna has to offer. It was a Sunday eve and many streets are empty at that time so it really felt special. The biggest thanks goes to Lisa our tour guide. I’ve never experienced a more exciting story teller than Lisa. We all were loving the information she fed us. Thank you Lisa we will for sure try more of your tours. For example Segway - can’t wait!! It was a pleasure!

The Private Spooky Vienna Tour is a great way to see the city and learn about its history at the same time. Lisa was an awesome guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of the city but is also very engaging and kept our entire group entertained with insights into both the past and present. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you enjoy learning the darker side of history!

Lisa was a fabulous guide and showed our family a completely different side of Vienna, beyond the pastries and music (which are also wonderful). As with any old cities, there are dark stories and shadowy corners. We spent an exciting several hours exploring this history, which contrasted heavily with the holiday decorations. Lisa brought these stories alive. Highly recommended!!

Lisa was a great guide. Full of information not only about the ghost stories, but also very helpful just with information about Vienna, places to try, etc. Really interesting tales. Amazing experience, Lisa is a friendly and informative guide which makes for an educating tour and a peek into Austria's history that you probably wouldn't get from other tours. Additionally, the tour is themed more toward the darker elements of Vienna's past making it a unique experience. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you like ghost stories and historical events.

My boyfriend and I have never been to Vienna before and wanted to do something different. We’re huge horror fans and thought we’d give this tour a try. We were able to visit places we never would have thought of on our own and took a lot of cool pictures. Definitely recommend!

Lisa has a great tour for Kids! on the day after a family tour of the KHM Museum Lisa took 4 little rascals on a "kids only" tour of the scariest parts of Vienna.
