It was a great tour and worth getting up early in the morning. We had a lot of fun with our guide Trant (I hope the spelling is correct) and he had lots of information about My Son for us at the ready.

Really great tour and so, so worth getting up early for to beat the heat and crowds. Our tour guide Hân was super - friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour lots of fun. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone thinking of visiting My Son.

It was very nice trip, thanks to the local guide, he explained about Vietnamese culture and gives us all the details about the trip, it was very interesting to listen him.

Our guide was great. The tour was very organized, professional, and informative. The drive there was comfortable and interesting. Everything went smoothly and as planned. It was quite special to arrive so early in the morning before the throngs of tourists. It made the experience more authentic.

Amazing tour and great to get there really early ahead of all of the crowds. Our tour guide was friendly and informative and the ruins were amazing!

Definitely must do an early morning tour!! Beat the heat and the crowds for the best experience!! This tour was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable and shared insights that bought the history of the sanctuary to life. The breakfast in a local village eatery was a good experience also.

This was a great way to experience My Son in the quiet and coolness of the early morning. Our pickup from Hoi An was right on time, and there were only a total of six of us in our group. The tour was well paced, with a quick coffee on the way, and then plenty of time to learn about the site with time also for taking photos. Our guide Thao was excellent. He had lots of knowledge to share, excellent English and a wicked sense of humour! He told us a little but didn’t talk for so long that we lost interest. After we left the site we stopped in a local village for some noodle soup and fruit (all included in the price). Even the drive was interesting, as it took us through small towns and rural areas. My only complaint was that there weren’t seat belts in the vehicle.

Eric was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Getting up early is worth it to avoid the heat and the crowds. We practically had the place to ourselves. Would recommend.

This was the second time I did this tour and it was just as good if not better than the first time. Tuan knows so much about the history of My Son, gets everyone coffee to get them up and going and serves a delicious Mi Quang lunch on the way home. Probably the best tour I’ve done in Vietnam. When I come back to Hoi An, I’ll be doing it again.

We had a great morning with Viet and this is a must see. It was worth the early start. We were one of the first groups on site and it was very peaceful. Viet was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. As we were leaving hundreds of people were arriving. It was a very hot day also, great decision to go early. We stopped for noodles for breakfast and we chose the boat ride back to Hoi an, which was pleasant.

One out of my two favorite tours in Vietnam. The tour guide Hero did such an amazing job. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. We learnt a lot and he asked us questions to keep us engaged. The early morning tour also meant you get to enjoy the tour better and in a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll catch the beautiful sunrise at MySon too. Thank you Hero and the team for the experience.

Great experience going with this tour. The early morning start is a bit tough, but necessary and worth it if you want to avoid the crowds. There are small groups there right when the park opens, but mostly those who arrive in the same way (via shuttle). The large group buses showed up around 9:30am when our group was leaving. You could honestly do this tour yourself, but you'd need a ride (which is costly), and willingness listed to the QR guided tours of the locations about the site.

This tour has an early start, pickup time was 5:20am but the benefit of this was our group was one of the first into My Son complex. We briefly stopped to pickup our coffee order on the way and then we were at My Son not long after. You take golf buggys up to the ruins and our guide explained about the different temples and ruins. Some were bombed others have been restored, we got a bit of the history of the Cham people and rituals. Overall was a great tour, glad we arrived early to beat the heat and the bus loads of people we saw arriving at 8am. We stopped for Breakfast on the way back, noodle soup (they offered vegan option) red bean fritter and fruit. The scale of My Son is quite small so there are not that many ruins to see. Tour guide and driver were very good.

Han did a fantastic job as our guide. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the ruins and was a great vibe throughout. Highly recommend this tour and you'll be the few if Han is your tour guide. 5 star!

The tour guide was really knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Highlights were the tour of the ruins and also the coffee shop was a real surprise, in a local area.

I can’t recommend this tour enough! Lee our guide was an absolute wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much about the temple site and all of the incredible buildings. Lee was also a brilliant photographer and threw in some hilarious dad jokes. The sunrise tour is the only option anyone should take. There were maybe 30 other people on the site with us and as we were leaving hundreds of tourists on big buses had started showing up. We got to experience the peace and beauty of the complex as a result and the temperature was perfection. After our tour we had some of the nicest noodles I’ve had in Vietnam for breakfast. Thank you so much Lee and Coa (many apologies if I spelt your names incorrectly).

This was a really good way to see My Son, even though it meant getting up early. As advertised, the place is cooler and uncrowded, and an unadvertised bonus, the waterlily ponds are in bloom (the blooms close up by mid day). Our guide, Thao, could speak English conversationally, so he could explain things in detail, plus he was knowledgeable. You've also got to love a guide who tells you "history is the story told by the winners" - you're not going to get the Official Version from Thao. We learned from him both about the temple complex but also life during and after the Vietnam war from the perspective of someone who grew up after it clearing metal and selling it for snacks. After, we ate a simple but tasty breakfast at Thao's family's restaurant - we were done about 11 am, so if you aren't bushed, you have the rest of the day at liberty. Also, if you are coming from/have seen Siem Reap and are wondering if My Son is worth it - unless you have a very low interest in temples and archaeology, it is. The most similar in Siem Reap might be Banteay Srei (they're both brick) but My Son has its own unique features.

Trip was well organized and pick up was on time. Was well worth getting up at 5 am to see the sanctuary when it was peaceful in the early morning. Huge crowds were entering as we were exiting. Enjoyed the Cau Lau brunch following the sanctuary visit.
