Our day could not have been more perfect! Francesco was patiently waiting outside of our cruise ship. I was so relieved to know that things were falling into place as they should be. He escorted us to a very comfortable car where we began our drive into Rome. Francesco was knowledgeable, respectful, friendly and delightful. He asked if we would like to know some history and we said yes definitely. When we arrived at the Colosseum, our first stop he had a diagram showing different phases of the Colosseum. From here on out we, arranged for a meeting time and he was there waiting as scheduled. We were able to visit 12 sites in Rome because of Francesco and our private limo through romeinalimo.com at the end of our tours, he took us back to the ship on time. We did a family cruise on the Caribbean, we used Rome in limo at two different ports for travel to see the sites in Florence and in Rome. Both drivers were excellent, they knew all the tricks and tips to save time and make our trip, very enjoyable and remarkable. We saw things in one day while in Rome that my son and wife had seen in four days while backpacking in Italy drivers could not have been more courteous, and we felt very safe the whole trip. We had a 10 day cruise scheduled in February and booked several of our airport/ cruise port transfers as well as Rome tours and shore excursions with Rome in Limo in the months prior. 4 days before our sailing date, our cruise was cancelled. We pivoted and booked an AirBnB and decided to spend our vacation time day tripping around Italy and exploring Rome. Jany, the booking agent was outstanding with information and ideas over months of planning, and was an absolute gem in helping us pivot and modify our plans when our cruise got cancelled. Nick, was our driver over many days of trips. He greeted us warmly at the airport, escorted us to a beautiful large Mercedes van (which our party of 7 and multiple 6ft+ passengers appreciated) and provided warm and helpful companionship throughout our many times together. We did sightseeing around Rome, a trip down to the Amalfi Coast (Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii), a day trip throughout Tuscany including San Gimignano and wineries). Nick is an expert driver and maneuvered effortlessly through the chaos that is Rome city traffic, and kept us entertained, informed of the sights we saw and offered his services for any questions or help we needed over our extended trip. Our guides were also outstanding…Silvia provided a thorough and expert tour of the Vatican, her personal passion and knowledge were impressive. Guilia provided us a comprehensive and engaging tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill sights, taking the time to get to know our family, and exuding warmth and a genuine excitement to share her city’s history with us. She took many family pictures at scenic opportunities along the way, and really made our day. Finally, our guide for Pompeii, Lucio, was also outstanding. Besides revealing the events of the Mt. Vesuvius eruption, he made the site come alive for us, and helped us appreciate the sophisticated engineering, hydraulics, port building and other innovations, as well as the art and culture of the people who made Pompeii their home. Our group was comprised of ages 14, 17, 18, 22, 24, 45, 51. I appreciate the challenge it is to relate to and entertain such a wide range of ages and interests and our kids unanimously enjoyed their first trip to Europe and I appreciate the role Rome in Limo’s team had in salvaging our vacation and helping us make lifelong memories of our time in Italy.

This was one of 3 trips we did with Rome in Limo on our recent trip to Italy. Their drivers are fantastic!!! Very knowledgable and really fun people. Best way to see the city! We caught so much in a short amount of time, our driver took so much stress off of us from having to drag our teenager around, and our guide gave us so much knowledge and answered any question we had. We got to see everything ln the itinerary and more! And no waiting in lines. Not a single time during the day. I'll never forget St. Peter's Basilica. The highlight for me. Truly amazing.

We took an all day private car with driver tour of Rome. Our Driver Francesco was excellent! He was knowledgeable, accommodating and made sure we saw and did everything we could in Rome in one day! It was an extreme heat day and having our own vehicle was priceless. The private guide for our Vatican tour was one of the best experiences as well. Chiara had so much knowledge and insight it made it unforgettable! We highly recommend this tour experience!

Our driver, Peter, was great! He brought history to life by showing us in a book what the Colliseum used to look like vs how it looks now, along with other historical places. He was easy to find in the port and after our trip through the Vatican. Rome in Limo was very easy to work with.

What can I say!!! This was one of the best decisions we made to see Rome as we only had two days there. Firstly! I'll start off by the experience of initially booking "Rome In A Day". This tour was booked three months in advance. Jany was so amazing in helping us prepare for this tour and purchasing our tickets in advance. She was always kind and courteous no matter what silly questions I may have had. On the day of the tour we were picked up in a very comfortable and clean vehicle by our guide Stefan. A wonderful, entertaining and informative person. We were dropped off at the colosseum one hour after pick up. There we were greeted by our colosseum tour guide. I forget her name. She completed a two hour tour through the colosseum, palatine hill and Roman forum. This was an extra cost over the cost of the tour BUT so so so worth it!! It amazes me how much information these tour guides have in the head. After this tour, we were with Stefan for the rest of the day. When you only have a limited amount of time in a huge city with so much history this is the way to go. Stefan showed us all the highlights of Rome, to many to list here. We were also brought to a great little restaurant that mostly locals use. Delicious!!! I can’t stress enough to anyone who only has limited time in Rome-BOOK THIS TOUR COMPANY!! It seemed a little costly at first but in the end it was not much more than booking a bus tour that has 20-40 people on it. We were 4 people all day with a wonderful guide. We recently took the tour of Rome and the Vatican with Rome In Limo. We were in Rome a few days before our cruise. We took several tours during our trip but this was by far the best of all! To begin with I worked directly with Jany to set everything up. She was extremely responsive making sure all details were in order. Our tour guide Peter was prompt in picking us up at our hotel. He was absolutely wonderful. His level of knowledge was amazing ! Peter spent the day showing us around Rome, giving us a fabulous history lesson and looked after us. It was an amazing experience! I can’t recommend him enough. We had a wonderful lunch and then headed to the Vatican. Barbara met us there and did a great job of escorting us thru it’s magnificence. Peter then picked us up and safely delivered us back to our hotel. I am sure we experienced many “off the beaten path” areas of Rome most tours don’t include. None of our other tours came close to this experience. It was a trip we’ll never forget. Thank you to Peter and crew for making our first Rome trip a magical one!

What a great experience. This was our first visit to Rome and was a trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Both the driver and our guide were so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to make it a special tour. They created a very memorable and enjoyable experience for us. We highly recommend this company and would use them again without hesitation. This tour was perfect for us - four ladies with only one full day to spend in Rome. We could not have chosen a better tour company and our guide, Francesco was simply the best. This is the 2nd time that I have used Rome in Limo and as with the first time, they are fantastic from start to finish. Jany was so patient with all my questions and helped immensely to organize our time in Italy. We were a group of 13 family and friends (all adults) in Rome for a few days before our transatlantic cruise. We arranged for 2 vans to pick us up at the airport and drop us at our hotel in the heart of Rome. We then had Stefano and Francesco as our driver/guides for the next 3 days for our “Rome 3 days package”. The guys were full of interesting facts, great for giving suggestions for meals, as well as just being fun to be around. They made sure that one of them would stay with the vans while the other one would walk us to the entrance ways and sometimes even managed to get us inside without waiting in big lines. Jany had also arranged for Barbara to be our guide for the Vatican Museum tour and she was also an excellent guide. Finally, we also arranged for Rome in Limo to transport all of us from our hotel to the cruise port in Civitavecchia. Next we had a port stop in Livorno where we had arranged for 2 vans to take us to Pisa and Florence. Due to weather issues, the ship was redirected to La Spezia instead of Livorno and Jany let me know about the change before we were even notified by the ship. That’s the kind of customer service you don’t get every day! Vinny and Salvatore were our driver/guides for that day and as with all our previous guides, these 2 were a pleasure to work with as well. The entire experience went seamlessly. From the airport/hotel/ship transfers, to the 3 day tour of Rome and the Pisa/Florence tour out of La Spezia, it was a wonderful time for our entire group. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone going to Rome or anywhere in Italy that Rome in Limo does business, but also I will be using them again when we are back in Italy in 2024.

We had a great day with Piero! He met us at the train station with our name of a sign right outside so we didn’t have to look for him & helped us buy our return tickets to Florence at that time so we would be ready for our return trip. He asked us what our highlights we wanted to see were & we made a plan for the day and off we went. I had been to Rome before but my friend had not, Piero did an excellent job explaining the history of all the sights & also adding some humorous stories to the mix! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone of any age group who would like to see all the top sights in Rome without having to walk through the crowds, it’s a great way to spend the day in Rome and I will book another excursion next time I’m in Europe!

Stefano was amazing. He was early to the hotel to begin our day trip and in the lobby excited to meet and greet us. He made a wonderful recommendation to the Cadeacombs and we were amazed and moved. We used Rome in Limo for the tour, Rome in a Day, and an airport transfer. I was so impressed with this company. Firstly, communication was excellent. Jany responded to emails SO quickly and truly went above and beyond. We booked last minute and he was so accommodating. Our tour of Rome was phenomenal. We loved our tour guide, Stephane. He was truly top notch-on time, excellent English, provided so much history, was very professional, and really personalized our tour. This tour was our favorite part of the trip! Our airport transfer needed to be moved to an earlier time due to a flight change and Jany responded immediately and was able to accommodate this change. The driver was on time and the car was very comfortable with water available. I will definitely use their services the next time I am in Rome and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

So we recently traveled with 16 people that started in Rome and continued on a 10 day cruise. During our stay in Rome I wanted to find a tour company to show 8 people who had never been there, the standard Rome 101 tour areas. Without question, Rome in Limo exceeded everyone's expectations. The two different tour guides were Pedro and Barbara were exceptional in their knowledge and made sure everyone's tour was complete, entertaining, comprehensive and something that they would remember forever. Since I booked this tour for the 8 people who attended but did not attend myself as I have been to Rome previously, I wanted this experience to be great for them even. Their expectations were greatly exceeded, which only confirmed the choice I made to use this company. I would also say that dealing with Jany, and I might add that I emailed her many many many times, was always well received, answered promptly and information was always accurate. If there is any concern at all about choosing a company for any tour in Rome or any other port they have, Rome in Limo should be the company of choice as they were special in ever way.

We used Rome in Limo on our 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip this past September for a one day tour of Rome and the Vatican. We are not typical tourists where we would rather lay by the pool than sight see but Rome in limo changed that. It was raining all day but Piero took us to every point of interest, as close as he could to lessen the walk, and picked us up whenever we were ready to depart. He had great additional information and pictures to get the most information without it ever being too much and never boring. Massimo finished a great day with the perfect tour of the Vatican. Worth every penny, highly recommend!
