Ram was a very knowledgeable guide! We visited four sites during one of the moon festivals, which ended up being a very busy time. We loved learning about the Hindu and Buddhist monuments, and have a newfound appreciation for Nepal and it's culture. Really recommend!

Had the absolute best day exploring Kathmandu with guide extraordinaire, Ram! He was soooo…everything! So knowledgeable, so fun, so kind, so helpful, so interesting, On this tour, I learned so much about so many things regarding Kathmandu and Nepal, in general—history, religion, government, geography, art, and more. And, as if all of that wasn’t enough, Ram went above and beyond by helping me sort out things for the rest of my trip. My plans had gotten shuffled around and I wasn’t sure the best way to approach some things given the changes and Ram took the time to think my situation through with me, offered me excellent insight and advice and even facilitated setting things up for me (can I say…not his job! lol). But he did it because he’s just a great guy and he also explained that the philosophy of this company, Luxury Holidays Nepal, and the Nepalese culture is wanting every visitor to have a wonderful and positive experience in their country. Well, that’s what I had and that’s what you’ll have, too, booking this tour! Oh! I almost forgot, Ram also has a fallback career as a photographer/videographer given all the great shots he so kindly took of me today since I was on my own. Icing on the cake of an already great day!

This was an amazing day! The guide, Sumit, was very knowledgeable and I learned so much more than I would have without the tour. I even got to join a special prayer ceremony with him! Highly recommend!

Guide Ram was excellent, kind, professional and knowledgeable, he answered every question and was patient while taking photos. The car was clean and the driver very kind, waited for us and drove us safely around.

Ram was a fantastic guide, providing great information to the various UNESCO sites that we visited. Our driver made us feel very safe as he navigated the often hectic roads of Kathmandu. Ram was so willing and patient to take as many photos of us as we asked, and allowed me to move at my own pace through the different sites, lingering when I wanted to. Highly recommend this tour!

We managed to visit UNESCO sites, a singing bowl shop, and a Thanka school all in one day. The tour guide and driver are very professional too.

The guide Ram and driver were professional and the car was clean and comfortable. Ram was helpful and able to fulfill my every small requests, such as receiving blessing from the monks in bouddhannath stupa. I also enjoyed the fun conversations we had.
