Excellent tour! My husband & I did a walking tour with Sunny on a rainy April night. The food was fantastic, the cultural insights were fascinating. One tip - don't eat lunch beforehand!

Annie is a great tour guide and she is very knowledgeable. She is very good and explaining the history and the culture. I would definitely recommend her.

Annie was an amazing guide. Well educated, very good english, many in depth explanations. What was supposed to be an architectural foto tour fell apart quickly due to heavy fog. Annie came up with alternatives: temple, old vs new Shanghai, and the very best was Saturday morning activities of locals in a park. Very authentic experience

Great street food tour with our guide, Annie. She showed us so many different types of food and we tried lots! Amazing soup dumplings - steamed and fried. She also knew so much about the city. We finished the tour with a cruise along the Huangpu river at night which was amazing to see with all the lights and she pointed out so many buildings to us and explained some of the history behind them and the city. Fabulous tour - would highly recommend this to find your feet in the city and get a better idea as to where you can eat.

What a great tour to do. Our guide Annie met us at the meeting point and we walked around the city and tried many different local food/snacks. Annie was knowledgeable and fun as our guide. Annie told us the histories of some of the restaurants we went to and the people behind it as well. And there were so many stops to eat and we were so full by the end of it… I am also so glad we did the cruise as it was so beautiful and stunning to see the lights of the building along the other side of the Bund, especially seeing the beautiful butterfly lights. Annie exposed us as well as educated us on various types of Chinese foods and catered the foods to our tastes, wants and level of adventure. She was also timely and the tour was at a steady pace. Annie was kind, personable and fun.

Annie was a great tour guide in Shanghai! She took us on a street food tour and let us sample foods that we would not have otherwise tried. The river cruise is a must see and Annie did a great job explaining the history of both sides of the river. I’d highly recommend touring with Sunny Tours and Annie!

Great tour with Annie. It was a pleasure to see Shanghai at night, walk through the old town and taste some of the best street food options. Our favorite was Shanghai dim sum soup. But everything else was also very tasty, although we tried to avoid the spicy dishes. Annie spoke perfectly english and so we had a cheerful conversation all the time. At last there is the boat tour to take some good photos from the river at night.

Very informative. Lots of interesting food to try and customisable to your taste. Shanghai looks amazing at night from the boat. Would highly recommend.

This was an amazing time!! The food choices were fantastic and the guide was extremely friendly. 10/10 highly recommended, I definitely plan to take this tour again when I am back in Shanghai.

Linda was a delightful and well informed guide. My husband and I felt like not only did Linda introduce us to the delicious street food with the sights sounds and smells of the Shanghai food scene but also gave us a few history and architectural lessons as well. Given that Linda was born and raised in Shanghai, she has lots of interesting tidbits to share. The accompanying night cruise was not only visually appealing but again Linda was able to enhance the experience with her knowledge of buildings, bridges, architect and the like. We highly recommend this tour and Linda as a tour guide.

Really had a great experience on this tour! Our tour guide Annie asked our food preferences and helped us discover food and sights in Shanghai we would not have known how to find otherwise. River cruise was a nice touch. Annie spoke great English. Highly recommend even if you’ve been to Shanghai before!

Annie was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and informative. She showed us places we would have never found on our own. Annie was very friendly and helpful.

we took many tours on this trip , this one was the only one we did not like . it’s overpriced for what is offered and it was very chaotic. food that was offered to us was very cheap. the boat ride doesn’t include VIP seats which was about 10$ extra . it should be included in the price . no transactions is provided. Annie ( our tour guide ) had to call taxi for us to get us on the boat . in my opinion: it was a rip off. i am giving 2 stars not one only because Annie really tried to make the best out of it but we did not like it . Boat ride was nice but you can do it yourself by taking taxi to it . it will save you a lot of money. same with food

We thoroughly enjoyed our Shanghai Walking Food & Cruise Tour. Our guide, Sunny, was friendly, informative and very organised. Each dish we ate was delicious - even our two (often fussy) young children enjoyed it all! It was fantastic to walk through the streets of Shanghai and the night cruise was also wonderful, providing a perspective of Shanghai we had not seen before. Highly recommend this tour. Thanks Sunny!
