We were uncertain how an 8 hour tour would unfold on an island (Santorini) renowned for long lines and traffic jams, but we couldn’t have been more pleased. Our guide (Thanos) knew all the tricks and managed to keep ahead of the crowds. He made sure we hit the popular destinations (Oia, Fira) but also took us to many out of the way places that helped us experience the “real” Santorini. My 74 year old mother and my brother did a private guided trip with Santorini road trips. Our guide Thanos was very accomodating and took really good care of us especially making sure my mom could get in and out of the Mercedes van carefully. We went to a little town I dont know how to spell, Akortiri pre historic museum, Black sand beach, Red sand beach, and our favourite stop was a little Winery called Faros which also sells local produce and we had a wonderful lunch plus wine tasting. The owner of the place introduced us to her family and it was such a refreshing experience after being in busy Fira. Would recommend this trip to anyone especially the guide Thanos. Overall an awesome experience.

This trip was my husband and another couple, our dear friends. Our tour guides George and Alex were great! They took care of us in so many ways..sites, food, took our pictures just to name a few. We met as strangers and parted ways as family. Truly genuine gentlemen!

Vasili was an organized guide and excellent driver. He prioritized the areas I was interested in seeing and suggested others he thought would be of interest. Initially I had a little difficulty understanding him but that desolved as the day went on. Highly recommend this tour.

Oh my goodness! We just got back from our 5 hour tour with Thanos and to say it was exceptional, is an understatement! We were picked up at our hotel and Thanos was so kind and welcoming. To say we felt like we were family visiting his home is an understatement. He arrived in a Mercedes van and it was clean and pristine. He made sure the AC was working properly, that we had water, and that we were comfortable. He always opened the door for us and always ensured our safety which was much appreciated. Over the last several weeks, I have been working with the owner, George, to plan an itinerary of the main items that my husband and I wanted to explore. We did so via messaging on Tripadvisor and George was very helpful at suggesting items and timelines. I went a little crazy and wanted to do EVERYTHING which simply is not possible. The island is quite large and getting from one end to the other takes 30-45 minutes, if not more. So please be understanding of that when planning your itinerary. After George and I solidified our plans, it was all on Thanos to deliver and boy did he. Not only did we do all of the main items on my itinerary, but he also took us to small villages and taught us about the culture and way of life. Megalochori was definitely our favorite and we recommend everyone to explore it! Throughout the 5 hour adventure, Thanos taught us about the caldera, the area, the volcanoes, and even some helpful Greek words. Our last stop was the winery and that was pretty epic. Santos Winery is in the most gorgeous location and their wines are delicious. Thanos gave us an hour to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. We did so with a glass of wine, some cheese, and photos to last a lifetime. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be shown Santorini with! Thanos spoke from the heart and his love for his community radiated from him. It really was such a pleasure. Thank you Thanos! This was an excellent tour!! The whole experience, from the time I booked several months ago, was superb. George provided very timely and excellent support and communication throughout, and Vasili (and partner who he was training) took such great care of us, and gave such personalized narration. We saw and did everything we wanted and more, and 6 hours was a perfect amount of time. I'm so glad we chose this tour and this provider!

We took a 5 hours custom-made island tour with Dimitris. We explored Oia, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Megalochori, Red Beach and Mt of Prophet Elias. The time was very well spent. Dimitris is wonderful and very knowledgeable of the island. He explained and answer our questions in details. He took us to the lookouts to admire beautiful and unique views and took many wonderful photos for us. Highly recommend SRT and Dimitris.

Thanos to the rescue! He took me to a bakery shop where I got one of the best ham and cheese pies I’ve ever tasted! Lol. I enjoyed the tour immensely and truly feel that I picked the best private guided tour company. And on top of it, George assigned me to Thanos — the best private tour guide! It makes a huge difference to be toured by a local like Vasilis. We not only saw the sites that we wanted to see, he also provided abundant information about the place, history and also impart an understanding of the local people.

Had a great tour around the island of Santorini from Thanos. Asked for a coffee stop to start and found ourselves at a wonderful bakery for coffee and amazing baklava. Thanos grew up on the island and shared family history, stories of life from his grandfather, etc. It was our first day on the island and felt like we had a great overview and what we wanted to return to on our own.

We had a wonderful time on our tour with Thanos! He was a very knowledgeable guide, gave multiple amazing tips, was extremely efficient, allowing us to use our time to see the highest number of options, and was always there with a smile and a bottle of cold water. Additionally, he was a great photographer. He took beautiful photos of my husband and I and all of the top sites that you can normally only see on postcards. At all the places we visited, he was able to give us detailed histories of the locations along with the current state of the area and the population at large. I was very surprised by how kind he was during our trip, and we also appreciate his recommendations of other areas to explore and eat at as well. When we started the trip, we had an idea of places we wanted to go, but he was able to give us tips, and make spur of the moment changes in our itinerary, which allowed us to see lower populated but cooler areas that a lot of tourists never get to see (like the underground caves) due to the more well known areas. This tour is a must do if you want to get a sense of the location, learn about the history and people, and see the best sites in places for photographs in the shortest amount of time and most efficient way possible! Highly recommend! Totally worth it!

We had an excellent 6 hr private tour with Panos! We had an itinerary we wanted to be followed and Panos was very flexible and even suggested a few other locations added to our itinerary to make it a perfect outing. Panos is very knowledgeable and gave us valuable insights into the history and where the current trend stands. When one of the first choice winery tasting options could not accommodate us, Panos made sure we were booked on to another best winery (Art Space) and it was fantastic. We were treated like friends during our tour and that made it so much fun and real. Our Tour ended with Oia being the last stop and though we couldn’t see the sunset, it was still an exhilarating experience. Just want to say how wonderful our driver Jhavos was. He made my husband and I’s experience great! We had no clue what or where we wanted to go. He gave us a suggestion based on what we hv done already and it was perfect. It didn’t seem like we were with him for 6 hours. It felt like we had a friend taking us around Santorini!! I would recommend anyone to have Jhavos!!!
