This 3 hour Private Sailboat tour is highly recommended. Captain Angelo and David his assistant were great tour guides and made the tour very informative and fun. They took us to The Emerald Cenote, Bird Island, Vulture Island and then we went to the Pirate Channel. We enjoyed the scenery and relaxed in the blue shallow waters and took some pics. We then took a sail inside the Black Cenote also called The Witch Cenote based on a Urban Legend. Captain Angelo then took to Cocolito Cenote and an island to see the Spoon bill Storks. They provided refreshing drinks and was very informative about Bacalar, the Lagoon and the Cenotes. This tour is highly recommended, be sure to ask for Angelo and David.

Bacalar was the best part of our trip! Captain Belu was so kind, knowledgeable, and cared so much for her sailboat. We learned so many interesting facts and the kids loved snorkeling in the clear, blue waters. The area/town is stunning and charming. It was paradise!

Essential mention and shout out to our very kind, and knowledgeable Capitan Angelo & crewman Sebastian! We couldn’t have asked for better tour guides. We did also appreciate the fact that the Capitan was trilingual. (English, Spanish, & French). We learned so many details about the ecology of the lagoon and cenotes, not to mention all the wildlife sightings! We definitely recommend booking this tour. Hasta la vista!

Angelo was the captain and he was fantastic and the first mate was Diego. Very good with a lot of interesting information. We stopped twice to swim at the bird island and the canal. We actually sailed for most of the tour, and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

This was so worth it! Everyone here was so nice. Our captain Andres was the best. This a must if you come to Bacalar. The sail is not the only thing you get from what you pay for. You get free kayaks to rent and there’s tons to do around there for free to just relax there.

Much like everyone else said- a true highlight! I loved the information that Luis provided us and his funny jokes and Armando is phenomenal sailor, truly. His ability to move the sailboat was so impressive. They were friendly and cared about our experience. The lagoon is everything you see in the photos (as long as it's somewhat sunny!) They aren't edited, it's really that blue! We didn't feel rushed. We want to come back to bacalar and hands down we would do the tour again. The people packed in pontoons didn't look nearly as happy as us, splurge for the private sailboat with Luis and Armando and you will be happy too :) Thanks guys! Rick & Karen

We loved our small catamaran private trip with Daniel. We purchased the group ticket, but as we were the only ones who signed up we ended with a private tour. We requested more sailing and less swimming. Definitely didn't need to swim as the catamaran zipped through the water and we were plenty cooled off by the wind and the waves. Daniel was wonderful - his expertise with the boat, excellent English, a private tour of the camp an eco-'hermit' lived on and extra time at the end to see the birds at Bird Island and enjoy the sunset. I highly recommend Daniel and the small catamaran tour.

Wow - where to even begin. I booked the private boat trip for my partners 30th birthday in November - there were 4 of us in total. We arrived at the departure location and were warmly welcomed at the reception and bar. All the staff are super lovely! Becy and Belu were our two skippers and we honestly cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful day. Not only were they really knowledgeable about the area, but they both created such a nice atmosphere on the boat and we honestly had the best day of our trip that day! It was such a pleasure to meet you both!! I would 100% recommend booking with this tour, you won't regret it :)

Amazing experience, Diego and Luis made our trip unforgettable! They're super friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable about the laguna and the surroundings. Perfect for a group of 6 and if the weather allows it, I advise the golden hour : you do want to pop a beer when the sun sets.

We had an amazing trip around the lagoon. Our captain Angelo and first mate Diego were very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region. We had a nice sail to different parts of the lagoon and saw all 7 colors! Would highly recommend!

Shout out to our super knowledgeable and friendly guide, Hector! And our super chill captain Mike that spreads good vibes! Went as a private group of 6 and the sail boat's size was perfect for us. The drinks, flavored water, and fruits were all very fresh and delicious. This tour was easily the best part of my entire trip in Cancun/PdC/Bacalar :)))
