We had great experience and nice driver to escort us from Amman for few days. Our driver is Mr. MURAT D, since first place he pick up us really give the best guidelines, We really enjoy it with him. The great for the package also good, JPTT give the great itinerary to us. We stay at Wadirum with nice camp and food not to bad. Overall thanks to arrange the short trip we have.

The driver was amazing, on time, fast and safe drive to and from Amman. Plenty of rest stop opportunities along the way to stretch and shop while making the long journey to Petra. Must book for a private group as it takes the stress out of everything

Hazem was great! We were able to spend a good amount of time in Petra, and the time down and back passed quickly. We also had a break at rest stops on the way there and back as well as lunch coordinated by Hazem. Would recommend!

Had a great day trip to petra from amman with our driver Joseph. He told us the local history and mythology and kept us engaged the whole way - it's a long drive. Joseph had great local knowledge of the area and site, showed us what to see and showed us where to get a guide. Joseph was very flexible with time and allowed us heaps of flexibility. We felt comfortable the whole day and a very comfortable car as well. Of note: don't book through app sites and help the locals by booking straight through the company - you will be looked after here

Nidal picked me up from my hotel in Amman, and the day unfolded wonderfully. He is experienced, knowledgeable, affable, intelligent, and kind. His English is excellent and his is well-versed in history and local lore. He transferred me to a Petra guide who was also informative, patient, and helpful dealing with the persistent vendors and animal handlers. Petra is simply stunning. It is a true wonder. I hope to take another trip someday with Nidal. He makes everything better.

Nidal, our tour driver, was absolutely excellent. He was punctual, had a lovely, comfortable car and was great to talk to during the journey. Nidal drove us a few hours to Petra and then we met up with our tour guide, Shadi, who was very knowledgeable and also an excellent host. Booking through Jordan Private Tours for our Petra trip was the best decision we’ve made during our stay in Amman. The entire process was so seamless and easy to navigate, the communication was absolutely phenomenal, and the staff (driver + tour guides + email point-of-contact) went above and beyond for us to make sure we had a great time - and we did. Our driver Murad was the kindest and spoke amazing English which was great since we had people in our party who did not speak Arabic. Similar with our tour guide in Petra, Basil, who was very knowledgeable about the historic sites and showed us all the cool places that you wouldn’t see if you had gone alone. I can’t recommend this company enough. Can’t wait for our next trip to Amman so we can book with them to a different destination!

We booked a private car to Petra for a one day round trip throughout the company. I would highly recommend using this company if you don’t want to use a bus since they are very professional and easy to talk to. There were 4 of us, and we were given a very comfortable van. Our driver was Jaafar who knew a lot of information about the country and what to expect in Petra. I just wished he played some Arabic music and not just English songs. He had cold water for us which is great. The trip is from 7am to 7-8pm (arrival to amman)

In October 2019 I had my first experience with JPTT, when I was traveling with friends from Amman to Petra and the Dead Sea. Because of the good experience, I decided to use their services again in February 2020 for a 5 days customised private tour that included Amman, Jerash, (little) Petra, Dead Sea and Madaba (Mt. Nebo). The communication with the office was efficient and professional. This time we had Mourad as a driver. He was very helpful and had great suggestions along the route. We also loved his playlist. Also nice to have wifi in the comfortable car.

This is late review. I thought I must write. Jordan is the most safest country visited. We booked through Travelzoo. All our trips were pre-booked. We did a  – 7-night Jordan tour included Amman, explore the mystic desert landscapes in Wadi Rum, visit the towering ruins of Petra and trek to its remote hilltop village, and discover the vibrant mosaics of Madaba. Your eight-day small group adventure through Jordan’s hotspots is an exciting and enriching adventure through a majestic desert land – best enjoyed with the eyes of an expert local leader and full of authentic local experiences.The desert camp in Wadi Rum is basic. There are tents we stayed at with our own bathroom. Please be aware that while the desert may be very hot during the day, it will still be cool at night and warm clothes and a sleeping bag is highly recommended when travelling outside of the summer months. Despite this, the warm Bedouin hospitality and chance to be out under the stars certainly makes up for the camp’s simplicity. Brilliant tour truly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our time in Petra! It was truly amazing. Our driver Ibrahim was so kind and accommodating. We wanted to visit Mt. Nebo, but it wasn’t included in our tour. Ibrahim took a detour and drove us there! He was very patient with us. As we made several bathroom break stops along the way. At the end of our trip he drove us to a beautiful location where we could take pictures of the sun setting. I highly recommend this tour and guide :-)

I highly recommend this tour. They were punctual, professional and very friendly. Ihab our driver made us feel so welcome and was genuinely a joy to spend time with. He proudly told us about his country which made our 3 hour journey a lot shorter. I would definetlley book with Jordan Private Tours and our experience with Trip Advisor was faultless. Petra itself was amazing and this tour gave us 6 hours to explore. You do need this time to see Petra properly. I wouldn't try and do it in less time. Some sturdy footwear is also necessary.

I had the most magical experience in Petra thanks to Jordan Private Tours and Travel. I was traveling alone and a bit trepidatious about driving 6 hours both ways with a complete stranger to get there and back. But the moment I met my driver, Nidal, I was completely at ease. We had a great car ride together and I learned more about his Bedouin background and his connection to the land. It was a great way to prepare me for my experience at Petra. I had signed up for the guided tour, but opted to hike solo through the site (which was definitely the right call). They charged me less since I didn't use a guide. I downloaded the Petra app and explore myself for hours through the city. It was a magical ending to my trip and my driver was easy to find afterward. Highly recommend this tour company. They are the best!

I was in Amman, Jordan for only a short time and Petra was a must see of course. The transit was a comfortable 3 hours each way and time on site was around 7.5 hours. Hussein was an excellent driver and provided comprehensive information and resources. I would definitely recommend the longer time there as it allows visits to both The Treasury and The Monastery plus other key areas. A lot of "tours" only give you 3 hours on site and if you are making the effort to get there then its worth spending as long a time as possible there.
