We absolutely loved our tour day with Jeffrey! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We texted the day ahead to discuss what we wanted to do and chose to spend more time on the north shore with fewer/longer stops (vs a full circle tour) which was perfect for our family. We stopped at a local coffee farm for morning coffee then on to Waimea Valley/Falls, Waimea Bay Beach for a Swim, Banzai Pipeline (where we saw something being filmed), Turtle Beach (with two turtles!), lunch trucks for delicious shrimp and treats and then shopped a bit in Hailewa. It was so nice not worrying about directions or parking or needing to make our own plans and Jeffrey had a ton of great insider information. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

Using The Real Hawaii tour was great! Jeffrey was timely, polite and fun. He took us to all the places we wanted to see and did not rush us. He even suggested a few special stops on the way that was fun. It was great to sit back for the 2 days and not have to be concerned about traffic finding where we were trying to go or parking. It is great way to see a lot of the island! Hawaii is eye candy all around: mountains, ocean and flowers!

We had only about 5 days in Oahu, so when time is precious, you don't want to waste time standing in line or waiting for everyone to get on the bus. We had Shannon as our private driver for the day and we loved every minute. He is congenial and knowledgeable. He is also a local and we had excellent service at each place we stopped because of it. He is a bit of a foodie, so don't be surprised if he suggests some fantastic local places. We had three places on our agenda and we let him pick the rest...it was fantastic. Treat yourself to a private tour...you will not be disappointed!

The real Hawai’i tours is amazing! They give you an in depth tour of the island and cater to what you want to see. We even went surfing on our tour which was the highlight of our trip! The tour guides take you to the very best spots on the island and focus on quality when it comes to the shave ice and shrimp trucks. Aioki’s was the best shave ice we had on our 2 week stay and Fumi’s shrimp was fresh and tasty. I’ve recently took my second and third tour with the company and was just as pleased as the first time. I can’t wait to come back to O’ahu and take another with this awesome company!

My family and I went on 2 island tours last week with The Real Hawai’i and had a blast!! We saw and did it all from surfing to shave ice!! Our tour guide exuded the Aloha spirit and was extremely knowledgeable on all thing’s Hawaiian. I loved the personal attention- our names were known in the first 5 minutes and the fact that my daughter is vegan was taken into account whenever we stopped for food. We went to many off the beaten path beautiful spots that other larger tours might not cover. I highly recommend The Real Hawai’i and can’t wait to return to O’ahu, not only for another tour but to capture some of that infectious Aloha spirit from The Real Hawai’i ☀️🏝🏄🏻‍♀️🍹🌊

Dan from The Real Hawaii is a great tour guide. He took me and my family out on an awesome adventure today. One of my kids main request was to see turtles and he delivered! We were able to see about 7 turtles out in the ocean and close to shore. My kids were so happy we were able to see them. The plus was that we were far away from the crowds at turtle bay. We also saw sights that normal big tours don’t get to see. Mahalo to The Real Hawaii for showing us such a great time at a relaxed pace! We’ll be seeing you on the Big Island in a few years!

Fantastic tour. Thank-You the real hawai'i It was awesome and Dan was really informative. We went all around the island, went to some great lookouts, popular attractions and even had a shave ice to finish the day. Dan ensured that our shrimp for lunch was sourced from the freshest supplier on Oahu. And we broke the record for his largest tour group yet!

He tailored our tour to meet our needs and also provided suggestions to improve the overall experience using his amazing local knowledge. We had an amazing experience with The Real Hawaii. We booked in two consecutive days and were taken to some places that your usual bigger tour buses just cannot get to. Day one was spent seeing some of the sights around Honolulu that we'd not seen on our previous trip, revisiting some places like the Tropical Farms Mac Nuts to stock up and going to some off the beaten track hidden gems. We had a fantastic day around the south-east area of Ahau. Day two we headed for the North Shore and again were treated to a superb day out. Saw some things that again those bigger buses just cannot get to or simply just drive by (and where you might just be lucky enough to get a good view over someone else head on the bus). Not with The Real Hawaii, they will stop wherever you want! Our guide for both days was Dan, he arrived promptly, was knowledgeable, allowed us to do things at our own pace and took us to some beautiful places to se and some great places to eat. Dan was also happy to take photos of our group, we got some amazing photos as well! If you are looking for a more personalised tour, this is the tour to take. A big thank you to The Real Hawaii for showing us 'the real Hawaii'!

We spent the half day North Shore tour with The Real Hawai’i and we had a fantastic time. We learned so much and got to see some great places that we would never see if we did it on our own. Our guide, Dan, was wonderful and was full of great information, not just of the North Shore but Hawai’i in general. We really enjoyed ourselves and would totally recommend the tour to others. This is not just your run of the mill tour crammed on a bus with 40 other people, it was personalised and felt more like a trip with extended family. Mahalo!

Dan took us along the Eastern side and north shore. Nothing was a problem for him, there were 10 of us, he went outbid his way to show us everything. Would recommend him to anyone, wouldn’t go with anyone else. One of the best days of our trip . Mahalo Dan
