The house boat we went on was only 2 bedrooms but the night stayover was just relaxing. The river scenery was great and the food was delicious. The bed was nice but as expected the shower was luke warm. Once the AC was worked out the room was nice and cool. We enjoyed the scenery the next morning.We went on a tour the next day to see how coconut was used for milk , rope making and cream

We selected a premium houseboat through Allepy Houseboat Club. Cost was Rs. 20000/night for a 2-room houseboat. The staff behaved well. But the quality of the houseboat was not so good, especially the toilets. Food was just sufficient, nothing more to feel you great. The biggest thing I was missing is the interaction with the staffs. They were not ready to communicate / interact at all. I understand this may be due to language issue (we were speaking English, Hindi, Bengali and Konkani). The overall journey was also not very good. Since I lived in Netherlands and Malaysia, I find this backwater trip is much inferior compare to my previous experiences. I would not suggest to spend such kind of money for an overnight trip.

Views from the boat were lovely and transferring to the smaller boat was really special. As 3 of us were staying we had a mattress on the floor as a third bed. No blanket or pillow was initially provided until we asked…. The one we were given smelt dusty and like it had not been cleaned. Bathroom was okay but definitely not luxury - no hand towel or loo roll…. Food provided was good but we kept having to ask for more water. Staff could have been more attentive.

Took a 5-6 hour day tour with Srees tours in Nov 2018 and it was one of the highlights of our holidays in Kerala. I communicated with Sree online to organise bookings and he was always punctual and to-the-point in his responses. Took a single bedroom deluxe house boat for 4 people including my 84 year old father and it was spacious, clean and well maintained. The only sour point was the steep stairs to the upper deck - a minor inconvenience really. The food prepared on board will better what is being served in many of the hatted restaurants - it had variety, freshness and mind-boggling taste. The evening snacks of pineapple and banana fritters alongwith coffee/tea left us stuffed with absolutely no room for dinner! The trip itself was eventful...we lazed along the canals, the lake, beside a bird sanctuary and passed a number of houseboats along the way. The pilot of the boat was kind enough to allow me and my daughter to take the steering wheel, albeit for a few seconds (sufficient for a few photographs). Met the owner Sree at the start of the trip and he came across as a down to earth and friendly chap willing to please his customers. Will highly recommend Sree for all your houseboat needs- day tours or overnighters. Will be definitely back.

This was a tremendous experience, a trip into the peace of the backwaters. We were well looked after by our excellent crew who provided great information and superb food. The stop to buy fresh scampi and crab that the chef then prepared was a lot of fun. And the idiyappam (string hoppers) for breakfast were a real treat. Tying up to the canal side and enjoying a peaceful night was amazing.

Getting away from regular city life, Worth having the experience. Food was amazing. Perfect getaway.

Booked a Private Boat house for 3 persons. Owner is very kind and helpful. Boat house was quiet impressive and the experience is awesome. Staff are very friendly and cooperative. Food is cooked on board which is far best than outside restaurents. Enjoyed the trip with friends. I recommend to use this company for your travel with friends or family. Safe and secure.

We spent great moments during the days we were in Kerala, all the experiences were new for me and I had the best time of my life. All the staff was very professional and attentive. Loved the private boat, it's very comfortable, the view is unique and food was amazingly prepared! We were very happy with the choice of AVEDA resort, where we could relax and enjoy the good weather as well.

We had a great time at the houseboat. For us 1D/N was exactly long enough. Staff at our boat was really nice and friendly. You get offered lots of food. A bit disappointing that we spent the night at exactly the place where we started our boat trip as well. Although “the second” day is only 45mins of a boat ride is absolutely worth it be3cause of the beautiful sunlight. Also the transport arranged through Trees Tours was excellent. A very friendly driver with a very clean car and good driving style. Very recommended!

Both my wife and I enjoyed our time on the house-boat the most out of our India trip. We felt like royalty from boarding until de-boarding. We also used Sreekumar to arrange transport for other parts of our itinerary and can wholly recommend him there as well; he invariably responded in a timely fashion and all information he provided was accurate.

Our houseboat was so beautiful and perfect for two people. Our driver was very knowledgeable friendly and supportive. Our chef was also so lovely and he cooked the most amazing food for us. The nicest we had on our trip. Touring the backwaters was an great experience and we slept so well lulled by the sounds of nature all around us. Lakeside tours were very easy to communicate and book with. I would highly recommend them.

It was an amazing experience. First of all, really impressed by SreeKumar’s (owner) honesty, integrity and responsiveness. It was very well organised and every aspect of the trip exceeded expectations. The food was delicious, crew Jimmy/Nithin/Suresh were super helpful and demonstrated excellent hospitality. The boat driver was very knowledgeable and he was happy to have conversations with us. Excellent spread for lunch, dinner and breakfast! The boat was in a good condition and very comfortable. And the route, absolutely stunning! Words can’t describe the views and if anyone wonders why Kerala is called “God’s own country” take this trip and then you will know!

Very well organized trip, from airport pickup to drop off. Boat ride in the backwaters was the best part - stunning views, amazing food by onboard chef Joe Mol. Sightseeing in and around Fort Kochi could have been better organized with a more knowledgeable driver - missed seeing the Synagogue on the way back on Saturday when it is usually closed - should have stopped by on the way to Alleppey on Friday

Firstly, I would thank Sreekumar for organising the 3 day trip to allepy And Kumarakom. The trip was on the occasion of our second marriage anniversary. The private houseboat was amazing. With personal cook and navigator it felt very luxurious. Also the stay at backwater ripples was amazing. Excellent view of the backwaters with hammock. In short, Kerala=Sreekumar tours. Will definitely recommend others to contact Sreekumar for any trip to Kerala. Be it Munnar, thekkady, allepy or kumarakom.

We have had an extraordinarry experience with Srees Tours. 20days South India of which 2 days in the Kerala Backwaters in a party of 6 (2 parents and 4 Teenagers). We had a memorable one night stay at "Palazhi" the 3 bedroom Luxury House Boat of sreestours. It was real royal treatment from Sharath and his two mates with tasty vegeterian food cooked and served. The house boat is well decorated and kept clean, with all amenities and smallest detail taken care of. Sree Kumar was very helpful and did our complete 6 days Kerala Tour experience more than what we expected. We surely would recommend this to all others and even visit again some time in future.
