Me and my Wife used Luca for traveling from Varena to Pradello and then from Pradello to Como. He was perfectly on time with very nice Cars. He was extremely nice and thoughtful. His prices were excellent also for that Long Trip to Como. If you need a Driver in the Lake Como area, I would highly recommend to use Luca. Thank you Luca for your excellent service.

Had heard wonderful things about lake Como, but didn’t expect it to be such a memorable one. Luca made our day fabulous interesting and entertaining! We are a family of 4, with two boys, one 21 and the other 13. Luca picked us up from the train station in Varenna in a comfortable car. He’s very pleasant with great knowledge of the place, Italian history, wine, cheese and all things about Como. He was so entertaining and full of interesting conversations that kept the kids engaged too. Luca took us to a farm house for lunch where we had the local cuisine. Corrado, the owner of the farm is a great host and fantastic chef! This day trip was the highlight of our visit to Milan, thanks to Luca for this beautiful day!! Highly recommend this trip.

Our tour of Lake Como reminded me of when friends come to visit and you want to take them to all your favorite places. We visited such very special places with Luca and Julia. The views were spectacular and we had such a great time experiencing local food, wine and people. It was the perfect way to experience this beautiful part of Northern Italy. So glad we took this tour.

Our tour with Alice was excellent - we covered so much that we would have been unable to do otherwise on our own, and her vast knowledge paired with her fantastic attitude allowed for flexibility in getting a top notch experience. Highly recommended!!

Overall, this was an excellent tour. Luca was wonderful and he made sure that we had a great time. He was able to customize the tour quite a bit and he made sure that we saw parts of the region that most tourists do not encounter. We cannot recommend Luca's excursion enough: He was kind, relaxed, and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond to make our day trip special, and it was more than suitable for our first holiday with our five-month-old son. His knowledge and English are also exceptional!

I can highly reconmend Luca whenever you are visiting the Como area. Me and my friends have used Luca’s services many times by now and are always so happy with our trips. We have used Luca for private tours where he customize the tour pending what we want to do or see in the area at the time. This time we did winetasting and grappa tasting, went to historical places and enjoyed a fabulous lunch high up in the mountains at Stefanos house. We had a very pleasant lunch together with the chef in his private villa, with an absolutely stunning and breathtaking view. Luca is very service minded and very knowledgeable so I can promise you that you will have a great time with him. Thank you Luca and Giovanni for this time. We will definitely come back, so we will meet again for sure.

My family and I had a beautiful and fun day! The meeting spot in the morning was easy to find and traveling to Varenna was just as simple. The day was packed yet we were able to stop a little longer at places if we wanted to. Ida was a wonderful guide who was kind and knowledgeable of the area. Varenna was an extremely charming town to walk through. We went to a castle with endless, stunning views of the lake and Alps, walked through a gorge with refreshing water, and compared the wine processes of a large winery versus a smaller one by visiting both. We ate at a local restaurant in the alps to truly taste the northern cuisine, which was delicious! We also had a beautiful scenic drive through the alps to complete our day. And the best part is that the tour was just for our party! I would highly recommend this tour.

I can’t thanks enough to recommend mr.Luca for our tour guide, He is excellent companion with great knowledge of Lake Como area and surroundings, he had introduced to us open eyes how wine and cheese made, he also showed us most beautiful spot at Lake Como place , the most surprising is we made mistakes at arriving station and my internet on the train is not working , after I talked to him once on the train, he chased two stations down the road to catch us, we are so relieved to find out he was there to wait for us, we will definitely arrange next train trip with him in the near future. I can’t express how lucky we had him for our tour guides.

Luca provided us with the best wine and food tour of Northern Italy region, Valtellina! He was professional, timely and helped us to really experience an authentic Italian day with the best local wine and food. Highly recommend Luca for a wonderful day - we will be back!!

Three of us were met by Luca at the train station in Varenna. He took us around for a panoramic view of the lake from a castle, a trip to a local store with Italian delicacies, a farm where we saw cheese being made, a trip to his hometown for gelato and views, a trip to a winery (with generous pours) and finally a tour around Bormio. We had an awesome time. Luca goes out of his way to make sure you get a great feel of the area. He also arranged for us to get a ride back the next day from Bormio to Varenna because we wanted to enjoy the spas. This was the highlight of our trip as there is no way you would know about these areas without a local guide (Luca is from the region). If you are looking for a great tour, not filled with tourists, and a real laid back, thoughtful guide, definitely add this to your itinerary! We all left stuffed with food (a few stops Luca just arranges and gets it for you), buzzed off the wine, and happy with our experience.

We took a private tour with Luca and it was so wonderful! Luca made absolutely certain to provide all of the details to us prior to the actual tour. He reached out immediately to notify us of changes and was very detailed in providing directions to our meeting place. I am not one for structured tours, too much rushing for me! This was not the case with Luca. He took us to so many lovely spots in Varenna, Lake Como, and Valtellina. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. He allowed us ample time to venture off and explore on our own. We visited the beautiful vineyards and did a wonderful wine tasting at Nera after enjoying a fabulous outdoor lunch at a quaint little Italian restaurant. We enjoyed our first Italian Spritz! I would definitely recommend Luca and his tour! He was a great guide and great fun too!

There was a little mishap on the train by missing our stop, but thankfully we didn’t let that ruin our day. Our Guide, Luca along with a young couple who was just married 👰🏻🤵🏻from Sweden 🇸🇪 picked us up. We went to the most charming store where they took us into an old cellar built in the 1600’s. Luca took us to lunch at a little gem of a place where we had the most delicious meal. We then went to see the vineyards and had a wine 🍷 tasting with cheeses and meats😋! Later, we walked along Lake Como and soaked in the beauty of Italy 🇮🇹. I experienced a relaxed rainy day that made my heart ♥️ happy. The next day we toured the Duomo Cathedral and visited Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Super. It really did take my breath away. I know nothing of art, but this inspired me to purchase two books at the gift shop so I can dive in and start educating myself. 🥰

I see why Luca is #1. Our private trip was spectacular. Communication before, during and after was perfect. The tour itself was not rushed and the information provided was spot on and endless. Every stop from Varenna to Valtellina has not only a purpose, but showed us "real" Italian living in this spectacular valley filled with vineyards, castles, agriculture, monastery, & small towns. Would hire out/seek out Luca again when in this area without hessitation.

This tour was incredible. Luca provides detailed information before the trip so we felt comfortable going in. He is super friendly and kind. Takes you to jaw dropping places, including local, out of the bitten path locations. It’s an entire day tour, and my three teenagers and I enjoyed every minute of it.
