I would give Luxor Stables 10 stars if I could! The morning horseback tour was such a beautiful way to experience a quieter side of Luxor. The animals are obviously well-treated, the communication was excellent, and we felt really safe riding without much experience. I highly recommend this experience!

One of the best organised stables i have seen! The stables and the horses are super clean. The horses are also very healthy and super trained! We had a walk around and it was amazing! Also the guys there are super kind and cool!

With a group of 5, we rode Nobi's horses (& his camels too) every day for our week-long riding holiday. His horses are fit and in good condition and a joy to ride (we were exoerienced riders). I partnered with 5 different horses in the end & loved them all for their enthusiasm, forwardness, good manners & beauty. We also saw the sand paddocks they live in 24/7 (not stabled like many local horses) with access to shade, water & feed all the time. I'm happy to recommend Nobi, 5 stars

Nobi’s stables are wonderful and the horses are incredibly well looked after. This is a local family owned stables and the best in the area. The guides are extremely friendly and great with horses. The horses are carefully paired with the riders and there is a variety of different rides to choose from. I would highly recommend this stables to anyone

Wow. What a gorgeous experience. I cannot say enough good things. I’m not a very experienced rider, so they chose a nice calm, stable horse for me that was almost effortless to work with. She (the horse) knew what she was doing so I didn’t have to redirect her much at all. But for the times I did, I was well prepared because they taught me how to redirect before leaving for our ride. We rode to Habu Temple through the farms and fields on the West Bank. The views were just unbelievable, and how often do you get to ride a horse to an ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TEMPLE?! I still can’t get over it. I was also given a tour of the stables and the other animals being kept there, and they are very well fed, well cared for, respected, and the stables are absolutely beautiful. They truly care about their animals’ well being and it’s obvious. If you are looking to book a horse riding tour in Egypt but you’re worried about animal welfare.. look no further. This is the place to support. Thank you so much Luxor Stables & crew!! You are all amazing.

I booked this as a Christmas present for my horse rider sister. We were lucky enough to have had a hot air balloon ride the day before so we’re excited to see them from another angle - and from horseback! Unfortunately, the wind had other plans for our morning but this is just the way of things. We had a lovely ride through the West Bank and over and through some desert area and some newly found tombs. The sun on the mountains was breathtaking. I think my sister would have loved to up-the-pace and go off cantering into the sunrise, but as it had been a while since I had been on horseback, she was very patient with me while we did some trotting and plodded along. The guide made sure we were both confident and comfortable at all times. Riding through the fields in the morning sun was beautiful! I would also say that as we had in been in Egypt for a week, we had seen a lot of sad sights of thin and miserable horses tied to carriages and being hit and worked too hard on the streets. This was certainly not the case here. The horses were happy, well-fed, comfortable with shiny coats and happy faces. They are clearly looked after well and loved 🙂

We had two fantastic horse rides with Mamdoh, the lead guide of the Luxor Stables. Nobi and Mamdoh were very helpful, they picked out the horses best suited to myself and my two children according to their horse riding ability and the horses' temperaments. They provided helmets and adjusted the stirrups to the perfect fit. We had an amazing ride around Luxor, through sugar cane and banana fields and to the Habu temple. It was calm and peaceful, and Mamdoh even had us trotting and cantering. He kept an eye on all of us and made sure we felt comfortable and happy throughout. Highly recommend!

Courtesy, flexibility to organize the ride based on your experience and a trustworthy and competent guide riding with you and letting enjoy you the most out of this incredible experience. Nobi, the owner of the stable, is very friendly. He organized my taxi from the hotel to the stable early morning and spent time with me before and after the ride for a chat over a tea (or coffee). The dressage of the horses is perfect. The 3-hour tour gives you the possibility to enjoy West bank villages, sugar cane fields and the desert. Very recommended and with fair prices

100% recommended: great, healthy horses and beautiful landscapes! A friend and I booked a tour of several hours in the early morning. We rode together with a guide, so there were only the three of us. The day before, we had already discussed our riding experiences so that the guide could choose suitable horses. My friend has some riding experience, and I am an advanced rider (I have my own horse at home). The horses look healthy and well-fed - not like many other animals you see in Egypt. They are also friendly and have a pleasant temperament. My mare was a bit more fiery and sensitive than the other one, but could be controlled well all the time. You can also see the influence of the English stable owner in the riding equipment, which looks relatively good. The staff are wonderful with the horses. We were also allowed to visit the pregnant mares and the herd in the paddock after the trip - our riding guide knew stories about each individual horse, and you can feel the great trust they have in him. The ride itself started before sunrise, we rode through the village in the dark, which had a very special atmosphere. Arriving in the desert, we could watch the sunrise. What a beautiful experience! Due to the weather conditions, no hot air balloons took off that day - hopefully we will have better luck next time. The riding routes were very beautiful and varied with the village, the sandy desert and the paths between fields and plantations. Galloping on Arabian horses in the desert and between the fields is amazing! We could even see two wolves in the distance and of course many birds, as well as farmers at their morning work. My friend and I love to go horseback riding on holiday because we get to see the country from a completely different perspective. The condition for us is that the animals are treated well. Only the riding style of the Egyptians takes some getting used to for Europeans. However, my mare reacted well to my usual signals according to classical English dressage. We can really recommend Nobi's stable! The price is perfectly reasonable, and one should not look for bargains for the good of the horses. Please also include an appropriate tip for the riding guide. Should we travel to Luxor again, we will certainly plan several tours at Nobi's stable. :-)

My first time riding and i felt super safe and relaxed(after the first hour haha) First of all i added Nobi on whatsapp he gave me a clear price and said i can come tour his farm/house to meet and ask more questions, i ended up booking a 3 hour horse ride, my price was 10 dollars per hour, EGP is always changing, so i dont want to say EGP price as they change a lot, he provides a nice helmet and riding chaps(leg covers) he has camels too and even donkeys if youre afraid of heights, we rode through a corn field(on a path) through villages(super nice/cute kids say hello to you) and any car or motorbike that sees you coming is super patient and careful around you. everyone treats the tourists well and makes sure we feel safe and happy here in Luxor, after 90 minutes(we went like walking speed as we are beginners) we got to the desert which was super cool, honestly my favorite part was the villages because i like the houses and seeing real life people not just tourist area. the horses were super healthy and taken care of and Nobi gave us tea and a nice chat to make sure we had a good time when we return ed to his house/stable.

Went horse riding for an hour. My partner and I were given the right horses for our level of experience. The ride itself was relaxing and fun. No complaints. The horses looked very healthy and well taken care of, which was the main reason for choosing Nobi Stables!

Really great sunset ride with Ahmed. I'm a beginner and he put me at ease straight away with the horse I was on. He matched the ride, and what we did, with my previous experience and I would highly recommend them for something a little bit different to do In Luxor.

I had a 4 -hour ride with Ahmed. The ride was really great, relaxing, and I learnt a lot about horseriding even though I did not have any experience before. Certainly recommend to everyone!

It was a nice trip. Guide was a nice person but there is no explanation of the historical sites during the trip.

First time riding a horse independently and I learned a lot. The countryside was scenic. The guide Ahmed was very experienced with the horses. This is definitely a beginner-friendly exercise.

We had a two-hour ride around the West Bank villages and along the Nile, and it will no doubt be one of the best memories from our time in Luxor! Seeing the countryside life was a relaxing pause from the hustle of the city centre and busy sightseeing days. The views are very scenic and villagers very welcoming, with many greeting you along the way. The horses also looked well cared for, and our guide made us feel safe even in the short periods where we had to cross busy streets, despite the fact one of us had never ridden a horse before. Would 100% recommend!

Riding four times at Nobis stables was one of the most beautiful things i did during my stay in Luxor. He and his chiefguide Mamdoh really care about the well-being of their guests and the horses. I always felt save even riding along the streets with the crazy Egyptian traffic the horse stayed calm. If you want to experience the real Egyptian life, do the village and gardentour. I think these two kind hearted man should be rewarded so be generous with your tip and bring some chocolate if you can.( Nobi likes white chocolate very much)

The horses were very well cared for and our guides were very kind. All of us (various levels of horsemanship) felt safe and we had a lot of fun on the 2-hour sunset ride through the villages and the fields. Highly recommend the ride!

I went with my friend and it was her first experience riding a horse and my second time. We chose a 2 hour ride, which we later on regretted a lot. We wished to go on for longer as the experience was extremely beautiful and we both truly connected to the horses picked out for us. I had Adham and my friend had Shakira. I definitely would recommend going back to this place and touring the friendly local village on your way to the temples. We spoke and laughed a lot with our kind guide, he took many pictures and videos for us and let me buy apples to feed our horses! Thank you all at Luxor stables for accommodating us so well! It is an experience that cannot be beaten! Much love, Anab x Fatima
