Wonderful tour! We had just a short time in Warsaw and booked this tour because we hoped to cover more ground in a private tour by car rather than personally walking or taking taxis. We were not disappointed!! Best tour ever. Our guide was funny and engaging while also being clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about Warsaw and it's history and culture. We saw so much in our four hours with our guide, Karol. Highly recommend this tour. Personalized based on what we had already seen, and our interests. Asked questions about what we hoped to see. Felt like spending the evening with a friend!

We had such a wonderful time on this tour with Karol Zdziech. He arrived at our hotel driving a retro Fiat, and he chauffeured us all over Warsaw telling us the history of the city and Poland. He was knowledgeable and such a fun person to be with. We would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Warsaw and Poland.

A perfect way to see key sites in a short period of time. My daughter and I had only one late afternoon free as our plane connected through Warsaw to Greece. We booked Viator, and were blessed to get Karol as our driver. Whether enjoying the peace of Wilanow, the history of Old Town, the edginess of Praga, or the solemnness Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, we got a really good taste of it all. And most importantly, Karol brought it to life with the description of the people and their history attached to each stop. Karol is a history major, and it showed. A great tour. Thank you!

We traveled to Warsaw for only two days and wanted to see as much as we could so we chose the Private Tour of Historical Warsaw so we could see and learn as much as we could in the short time we were in town. Karol was our tour guide and he was excellent! His depth of knowledge of Polands past and Warsaws history was astonishing! He was full of information and very capable of answering any follow-up questions we had for him! Karol was friendly and a pleasure to spend time with as we learned about so many things related to Poland! He ensured that we saw the sights that allowed to better understand not only Polands past, but what Polish citizens feel about world events going on today. We highly recommend this tour and Karol! The retro Fiat also added a fun element to our tour and we suggest that you try this as well!

It was a wonderful trip. The communication with the company worked great. And although the tour had be delazed because of car troubles we had a wonderful time with our guide Karol. It was a mixture of driving around and walking around. So we saw the Praga district but also the old town, walked around and learned about the history of Warsaw and its people.

I was fortunate to have Hanna as a tour guide on a 4 hour private tour of Warsaw covering historical aspects from settlement, WWII, communism, and modern day experiences. Hanna was very knowledgable and fluent in English. She was well prepared with pictures of pre-war Warsaw. Hanna went at a good pace. It was such a good experience that I took the Palace of Science and Culture tour the next day. Guides like Hanna are the reason WPT1313 is ranked number # 1. I highly recommend Hanna!

My Nana and I had a BLAST with Karol. He’s a PhD student at University of Warsaw studying history. So, we were very fortunate to have him. He’s knowledgeable, thoughtful, intentional, kind, and patient. We learned so much. Karol knew all the right spots to take photos. He always offered to take them even if we didn’t ask! He always had safety in mind first. He gave us his own family history and was very personable. He slowed his pace to stay close to my Nana and even helped her with items. We loved being driven to significant places then getting out to interact in person. The experience was very organic. The vodka shot at the end was great. My Nana never drinks so her also doing the shot just showed me how jazzed she was after being with Karol too! He’s an overall great guy and made the tour what will be an everlasting memory for my Nana and I. Although we already did the tour, we would go again just to hang out with Karol. Oh yeah, and the retro fiat was cool too.

We loved this tour in Warsaw. Although we had car trouble - and had to switch vehicles - it did not detract from the day. It just meant we got to ride in more that one retro vehicle!! We were in Warsaw with friends. They wanted to do the usual --> old town, cathedrals etc. We wanted something different. We saw older sections of the city, including parts of what was the Warsaw Ghetto. Our guide was knowledgeable - able to describe what life had been like. We got to see some of the amazing street art in the Praga district - definitely not on the usual tours. Not the tour for everyone - but perfect for us!!
