Had the best day in Luxor with my guide Mr Ahmed Omar. I did this and the East Bank Tour. He was very friendly, easygoing and I felt very comfortable and was able to go at my pace. Learnt so much and had a lot of fun! Will recommend this 10/10 for solo female travellers.

Guide was normal, but the food was very bad and not in accordance with the price. The drinks not included had an extra terrible price…. Never Book the Meal in the plan!

We had an amazing daytrip with our very good and knowledgeable guide Monty! He knew everything and advised us with the tickets for the best tombs, we are very happy to have Monty as our guide, 10 stars! Would recommend to everybody!

This was a 'must do' tour during our visit to Luxor. We got a quote from the hotel we were staying at and it was far more expensive than booking through Viator. We had an air conditioned 9 seater minibus all to ourselves and our guide 'Monty' was really good. He clearly had a passion for Egyptian history and his enthusiasm was infectious - we learnt so much during our half day tour. Highly recommended.

The tour was exactly what I was expecting. Hend and our driver took me at my hotel at 9am. After a quick ride when Hend gave me an introduction history class about the pyramids and the region, we arrived at the place where we saw the 3 main pyramids ( actually seven). I could even go inside one of them. We finished with the Sphynx and went back to my hotel by lunch time. During the visit, Hend was great at giving details and stories about the pyramids+ taking great photos. It was no rushed and I enjoyed the experience.

Booked transport only. Plenty of time to see all the sites (which were all great) at our own pace; driver was friendly and drove safely; door to door pickup/drop-off. Exactly what we were after - would recommend.

The trip was very good and informative. The guide Mrs. Sawsan, was very knowledgeable and supportive. She explained about all the sites in a way to have more understanding and clarity. We really enjoyed her company.

Fantastic experience with a wonderful guide (Salwa). She was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. We spent full time at all sites, with lots of information shared, followed by free time to take more pictures. Lunch was fab. Tour was a total of 9 hours. Pick up and drop off was smooth. Driver was great. Communication ahead of tour helped to confirm. Good value for money. Totally recommend this tour.

Our guide Sawsan was amazing. Our driver was also great. Was very knowledgable, took us for an amazing egyptian lunch with a nice view. Explained alot of things to us about each place and gave us water during the day. Highly reccomend!

The trip was really well organised, our guide, salwa, was really nice and knowledgeable. We manage to see the sunset in the Luxor temple. The food for lunch for good too

We were picked up on time. One difficulty we might run into was how to meet him after we completed our visit at each stop because we didn’t have phone service. He was very patient to work out a solution with us and we had no issue at all. We enjoyed the trip.

We did the day trip to Luxor from (Giza Pyramids) Cairo by flight. Salwa was our tour guide. She did an amazing job! Very thorough descriptions of every tomb, pharaoh, and location. Our drivers were great and on time. The whole experience was wonderful and affordable. So happy we booked through them. Also the lunch was great!

We absolutely loved our tour of Luxor with Maria. She went above and beyond with the tour, even interpreting the hieroglyphics at each of the temples for us. She was also incredibly accommodating and helped us with finding transportation and restaurants in Luxor. We 100% recommend this tour and you will be lucky if you end up with Maria as your guide.

Horrible tour manager: flexibility only at double price! First of all, the driver appeared without any sign or identification. We had to look for him, we tried to call / write the agency via WhatsApp but there was no response. We wanted to add 2 quick stops (that were in our way!) but the manager requested an additional 30 USD, doubling the price of the original tour. What is the point of a PRIVATE tour if you can’t make additional stops that are on the way? I wouldn’t book it again and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

The 2-day trip to Luxor and my experience in the west and east Bank was truly exceptional. My guide Angie was super knowledgeable and kind to explain everything in detail to me. I learned a lot from this experience. Thank you

Angie from Emo Tours was knowledgable, engaging and articulate when explaining ancient Egyptian history. She knew the sites well and helped us take photos. The tour ran smoothly and efficiently which was important since temperatures were reaching mid 30C. My only caution is that you avoid buying the souvenirs from the alabaster factory. They were severely overpriced but it is still helpful to learn about the products.

Overall great experience & tour. A lot of history learned & you can't put into words what your seeing in person as it's unreal.

Guide was helpful in pointing out some of the key historical points of the sites visited. Used postcards to show us what specific details to be aware of when visiting the tombs. This was really helpful. Guides are no longer able to enter the tombs with guests to help preserve them. There are touts inside the tombs, however, giving access to unauthorised and protected areas for cash payment. Inspite of paying a fair price for the tour, the guides and driver expect a tip on top which I find makes these tours at least a third more expensive. Usual ridiculous stop at a fake alabaster 'workshop' to be sold plastic by descendants of Howard Carter's dig workers. I'd suggest that tour companies simply pay the guides a fair price avoiding the extra costs/haggling for tips, skip the fake souvenirs and ask tourists what they're interested in hearing about before the tour starts. Make the whole thing a lot more professional.
