Billjana was an amazing tour guide. The tour was the perfect pace. She shared the history of Vienna and was a great storyteller. My kids 20-25 all really enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend!

"Billy" was the best. It was only my husband and I so she treated us to some special sights. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions those about what she was showing as well as about general conditions of living in Vienna. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. I always love a city tour when you first arrive to get yourself orientated. Would also recommend buying the Vienna Pass, we didn't know about it until it was to late.

Our first full day in beautiful Vienna my husband and I took a private three hour walking tour with Else. She promptly met us at our hotel and we set off. Else was friendly, energetic and most importantly very knowledgable. She expertly and efficiently moved us about and although we saw a lot, we never felt rushed. It was the perfect combination of historical, religious and cultural sites. Please tell her that we did indeed find a very good Italian trattoria! Many thanks to Else for a wonderful time and a lifetime of memories.

From start to finish Katarina was by far the best tour guide we have had to date. Every time we visit a European Capital we always get a private tour guide to show us around the abundance of well known and hopefully the not so well known historical sites and Katarina excelled on all levels. Her vast historical knowledge accompanied with her very assured way of leading us through the many sites of interest was fascinating and she made us feel very welcome too. Whilst it is quite pricey it was in our view great value for money. I advise all visitors to use this site as well as asking for Katarina personally when you visit Vienna! Perfect historical companion for anyone who would like to not only visit sites of interest but also to learn about why and how they came into being over many centuries!

Insight Tours was fantastic. They arranged two tours for us. We like extremely informed guides. We are history buffs. It costs more, but worth every penny. Katarina was our guide for the city tour and she was kind and brilliant. Gerty was our tour for the Schoenberg palace and she too was outstanding.

My husband and I really enjoyed our walking tour with Katarina. She was very personable and knowledgeable. The tour felt very natural and was at a nice pace to engage with Katarina about the history of Vienna. These kind of tours are worth it because it gives you a bit more depth to the history of the city rather then just showing where things are located and what they are. This is our second tour with Insight Cities. Our first tour was in Prague back in 2019. We couldn't pass up another opportunity to explore another city with Insight Cities!

What an amazing way to see and learn about Vienna. Katarina is incredibly knowledgeable about Vienna's history and also gave good advice about what else to see and do during our trip. We came in December so it was rather cold but the walk was easy and entertaining so we did not notice the cold. I highly, highly recommend this tour and, if possible, make it one of the first things you do.

Thank you to Bonita for organizing this most special walking tour for my daughter and I. My daughter (9 years old) is passionate about composers and the piano, and Bonita really helped advise us on what best to do with time in Vienna. Our actual walking tour was conducted by Ilse, and we couldn’t have been more lucky! Ilse was so warm and friendly (my daughter loved her), and had an extensive historical and musical knowledge of both Vienna and Salzburg, where we’d just come from.
