Perfect knowledge of his hometown, combined with natural kindness (& patience, always keeping his smile on, even if he had to wait for me to make up my mind in some shops sometimes), Omar showed me the absolute must-see of the Medina, but also the hidden cultural jewels of the maze behind its beautiful doors. Always sharing & happy to give you the codes you would not get otherwise. Meeting such a perfect guide brightened my Fassi experience & made it unforgettable. Omar is a wonderful guide. He is very passionate about his hometown. He showed us sights in Fez which even locals have not experienced. His knowledge and history is wide and he is well spoken and very polite. From the palace to the oldest bakery to the oldest university and the pottery artisans and textile weaving and tannery to the souks in Medina and through the narrowest alley in the old Medina, the whole day was full of adventure and enjoyment. I highly recommend Omar for all your tours. His family home is also a beautiful riad called Riad moulaydriss et giacomo and is among the best restaurant in Fez. It’s run by his sister Batoul who was so kind to share some history of their beautiful family home.

Fun and extremely informative Two days with Omar . We went around the medina and new fez and had such a great time we are going Tommorow outside the city. He has a great historical perspective about the evolution of the medina and the main drivers for its growth We found him to be really fun and we’ll known in the medina. He took us to a number of fantastic shops where never felt pressure to buy anything (but we did as the carpets and crafts were amazing) We ended our second day at his family’s restaurant Riad Mouley Driss where we had a suberb Moroccan Lunch

Good experience, with our guide, shared interesting stories and facts with us during the tour. Brought us to the main sights within the Medina, lasted somewhere 3 hrs. Just felt that the shops where he brought us to where shop owners kept trying to sell stuff (including at the Tanneries) should be left out.
