At the end of a 14 day Chilean Expedition cruise, we wanted to do something beside go straight to the Santiago airport for a 9pm flight, so booked a day long transfer which included a tour of beautiful, quirky Valporaiso and Vin Del Mar, and a visit to a vineyard in the Casablanca valley. We loved riding the funicular up the hillside and walking the delightfully painted neighborhoods. Sean, our guide, even had a colleague stay with the car and our luggage as we wandered on foot. He suggested a restaurant for lunch that had a wonderful view of the harbor. We continued on to enjoy a tour (during harvest) and tasting at one of the many winery’s Chile is known for, then dropped us of at airport in a timely manner. His knowledge of history added a wealth of information. He even sent us photos he took of our day. I would highly recommend this company for a transfer tour or any other Chilean travel adventure planning!

We chose this tour because it was private and it had all the things we wanted to see within a drive outside of Santiago. Our tour guide, Sean, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was so patient with us! He took the time to hear what we wanted and made sure to answer all our questions. Not only does he know the area, he knows the people within the area! He will show you where to eat, stop for a snack, by little souvenirs, etc. Sean will take you to little secret surprises that you definitely won’t get from other tours. When we were doing the tasting at the vineyard, he made sure we got to try all the wines we wanted, which felt like we could’ve never done without his help. Sean really puts the extra effort to make sure you are happy with every experience. Sean also takes pictures along the way, which was a nice little gift at the end that we had no clue about! I would recommend touring with Chile Dream Tours for the best experience with the absolute best guides!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Sean. There were a few obstacles along the way with road closures due to a flooding event but Sean knew the area and navigated thru the challenges without a problem... we even stayed on time. Valparaiso was beautiful and we probably saw twice as much of it as we would have on our own. Loved the street art and the galleries Sean took us to. We had a delcious lunch at the place he recommended and he took care of the reservations etc. The Casas Del Bosque was delightful too and the wines we sampled were delicious. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Our tour for the next day with another company canceled due to the weather and road closures so Sean even gave us great ideas to fill up that day. Having a private tour for this outing is the only way to go and Sean was excellent. He filled us in on the history of Chile along with information about the culture and agriculture. I absolutely recommend booking this tour to get out and see some of the beautiful countryside and feel absolutely pampered.

We had an amazing time with Sean, seeing Concón, Viña Del Mar and Valparaíso. He was very knowledgeable and fit the trip to our interests as he got to know us. Our guide was Sean - a wealth of knowledge about the areas we were visiting & about Chile generally. Very welcoming & friendly. The car was very comfortable for the days drive . Saw an awful lot in what was really a very short time! The vineyard restaurant was excellent as was the winery tour. Thoroughly recommend this tour .

Sean was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable about Chile and everything we saw. He was also very easy to be with. We loved our tour of Valparaiso, a one of a kind city. We saw a lot in a short time but the pace was just right. He made sure we had the best table at the restaurant where we had lunch and that we understood what we were ordering. The couple of shops we visited had quality unique items. The day ended with a visit to a beautiful winery where we tasted very good wines. We felt very well cared for all day. An excellent day overall.

The Valparaiso full day tour was filled with great experiences. We enjoyed the drive there and the fact that our tour guide drove us from the northern reaches of Valparaiso Bay through ConCon and the beaches that stretched to Vina del Mar. There were several opportunities to enjoy viewpoints as we learned about the history of the area. We made a short side trip to see the Moai that was a gift from the people of Rapa Nui. The highlight of the day was taking the funicular up to explore some of the many hills that make up the unique city of Valparaiso. Beautiful street art could be found around every corner on our walking tour. Along with the overlooks and colorful flowers, the entire area became one huge art gallery. We capped off our afternoon in Valparaiso with a wonderful seafood lunch at a view restaurant. This tour had one more event before we returned to Santiago, and that was a wine tour and tasting at Casas del Bosque Winery in the Casablanca Valley. This tour included all our favorites in one day - seaside, art, seafood, wine, and the Chilean landscape and culture. The guide (Sean) from Chile Dream Tours took care of every detail to make the most efficient use of our time along with suggesting an absolutely perfect spot for lunch. We especially appreciated the photos he took of us during the tour that he sent to us at the end of the day.

We did the city tour and a tour to the coast, couldn’t have been more happy with the tour and our guide Sean was amazing. Highly recommend next time you are in Santiago to go with this company and get Sean as your guide!

WOW WOW WOW! What a great day we had with our guide Daniel on our day touring the Pacific Coast of Chile. Daniel was so knowledgeable and accommodating- he listened to what we wanted to do and took it to heart. This trip is what I would recommend to all my friends to start their trip to Chile with. Our fantastic day out also included a trip to the beautiful Casas del Bosque winery. I think this is why it’s Called Chili Dream Tours!

The cultural significance of Valparaiso and the expertise of our guide Sean Casey. He led us through a labyrinth of hills, homes and businesses including a finicular from the early days of the city. Excellent tour of the area.

A wonderful and very relaxing day! Thanks to our guide Sean who made this day a great experience!! We took a toor to the Chilean coast and saw nice vineyards, the Pacific Ocean and beaches, Valparaiso art and food. The way back was fantastic with the sun set touching the Andes. Highly recommend!!

A last minute booking was made very easily with Sean, with prompt answers. Daniel was our guide for the day and he was just amazing, providing great information about Chile and the areas we were travelling through. The tour was a great way to see the coast and amazing street art (definitely take their recommendation for lunch, the food was amazing) finished with a great tour of a winery followed by a tasting. TLDR: Book you trip with Chile Dream Tours now - they have thought of EVERYTHING and you will not have an ounce of regret. Its a bit more than the other tours but SOOOOO worth it. We booked this tour after having such an amazing time on our tour the previous day White Water Rafting at Cajon de Maipo & a winery tour of Concha y Toro. This trip took place on our last day (myself and my fiance) in Santiago before our flight departed at 9pm. PROS: 1. Private tour in a very comforable mini van. 2. No thinking at all. Sean, our tour guide, was prompt on pick up time, (which you realize is not always the case in Chile!). He picked us up right outside our hotel around 8:30AM to start the day. 3. Great conversation in English! - Sean is originally from New Jersey, USA, and has lived in Chile for 20+ years and was great conversationalist. He gave lots of history, fun facts, and was super open and answered lots of questions. 4. Winery Tour Review - Casas del Bosque was probably our favorite winey that we toured. Our guide spoke English - the winey has an amazing view of the Andes and the tour was top notch. 5. Lunch - Reservations were made for us at Restaurant La Concepcion - this was EASILY our favorite meal in Chile. It overlooks the water and was such an amazing experience. 6. Jen the luggage guard! - we booked this tour and had to head straight to the airport to our flight back to NYC so we had our luggage with us. While we were out doing the walking tour with Sean, Jen stayed with the van and our luggage to make sure nothing got stolen. This was HUGE and we were so grateful to not have to worry! 7. THE PHOTOS - Sean spent the whole day snapping photos of us and the sights we were seeing. Afterwards, he sends you a link to the photos he took - we are so grateful for these photos - they are the best we have of the whole trip!! 8. Valparaiso - GO TO VALPARAISO - ask to spend as much time as possible there. its unlike any place we have ever been. It makes no sense that a city was built the way it was, but it was incredible. The colors are vibrant. The street art (graffiti murals) are spectacular. I wish we were able to spend hours and hours just walking around, because it was such a great place. You read reviews that it feels unsafe, which it might be at night, but I felt nothing but safe walking through the streets. 9. Vina del Mar - you drive up and down the coast which is really nice. You get to see seals and the naturally occuring sand dunes which is fun. Its a really beautiful coast!

Amazing day touring the coast of Chile and ending with a wine tasting. Sean is so knowledgeable of Chilean history and accommodating during the tour. I learned so much in just one day!. I would highly recommend if you are in Santiago, get out of the city and see the coast with Sean.
