Excellent tour by Aryan, a young and professional tour guide. Patient, calm and composed in handling any situation. Polite, friendly, helpful, sincere and kind. It’s really hard to find such a committed and professional tour guide nowadays. He’s down to earth too. He bought me cold drink as the weather was burning and refused to take my money. He spoke good and clear English and explained everything in detailed for the slum and Mumbai sightseeing tour. He’s definitely a gem to the company & I’m sure all the guests will love him. Double thumbs up to Aryan & will engage his service for my future trip! The driver, Rafik was punctual, picked me up from the hotel timely and drove us safely for the whole day. He’s friendly and professional and has a smiling face same as Aryan. It will be perfect if his car’s AC is cold then I wouldn’t perspire while on the road. The tour company is also very professional. Replied my WhatsApp and arranged the driver to pick me up from hotel timely although my hotel was not in the preferred hotel list. Overall, I’m very happy with the service!

Cannot rate the Private Full Day Mumbai Sight Seeing Tour (with lunch) highly enough. Our guide Sahil was super knowledgeable, friendly and kept a pace that was comfortable for us all in the Mumbai heat. We ticked all the boxes for the main sights and topped off an already great day with lunch at his family home - an unexpected highlight. What an experience meeting his family and sharing an authentic delicious lunch with them all something we will always remember. Special thanks to our driver Ashkar. He managed the crazy Mumbai traffic effortlessly and his airconditioned car was a relief from the heat. Great way to experience Mumbai

Kavita provided a great tour during a heatwave in Mumbai. She navigated the city tourist attractions very well, answered all of our questions (except about cricket haha) and had a great personality and fun personality. She gave time to pause and enjoy the sites, sounds and smells and we never felt rushed. We saw a ton! She didn’t miss a beat when the car had an issue and worked out a solution while we toured the train station. Shamsher our driver was not only a safe and skilled driver, but very attentive to us getting in and out of the car (which you do a lot) , was always ready to go, and had such a calm presence so you felt like you were always in good hands. Thanks to you both for an informative and enjoyable day.

We had a very extensive tour through the Dharavi Slum with Varsha. She was so great. Young woman who lives in the slum so knew so much. She was very attentive to all our questions. Crossing the street was challenging and she kept us together like a mother duck. She did so much more that just show us sites... she gave us insight into life in the slum. It was an enlightening experience that I'm so glad I went there. We spent over 2 hours walking and exploring. The people there were very friendly, especially the children. I highly recommend this part of the tour and especially Varsha. The second part of the tour was with Ashab. Ashab was very knowledgeable in the places we went. Between him and our driver, we were able to make stop and take pictures easily at really great places. He took us into Crawford Market and it was great to be with a guide in there. I highly recommend this tour.

Had a great tour of Mumbai with our guide, Nikhil. It focused on the working aspects of the city rather than the usual temples, mosques and churches. The best parts of the tour were the Dhoby experience and the Slum Tour. Nikhil was informative and knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions. The surprising Slum Tour was guided by a delightful young lady called Phuna (?) who grew up in the slums. It was unexpectedly most interesting and I wish we had longer. Perhaps less time in the gardens and a longer slum tour would be better. Anyway, a great days tour. Highly recommend.

This was such an excellent way to spend a well organised day seeing and learning about Mumbai. We started the day with a tour of the Dharavi slums, led by the most excellent guide, Varsha. She was both incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly/ personable throughout the whole tour. We then went and had a private car tour of all the sites with Neha and Hasan, who were equally as excellent and friendly. I will say that nobody likes traffic but with these two we had lots of interesting conversations and learned tonnes more about life in Mumbai. thank you all for a wonderful day x

This was a great experience to see the Dharavi Slums and Mumbai with fantastic tour guides. Varsha was friendly and shared great insight into the slums. For the Mumbai tour we were greeted by Neha and Hasan who were wonderful company to be in and made the journey all the more fun. Thank you for a great day!

This tour was an absolute shambles! Our driver spoke little English, didn't know we had paid for lunch, and did not give us any history whatsoever of the supposed stops, of which in the end we saw 5 of the 15 shown in the itinerary on the Viator, those being the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, the Hanging Gardens, the Railway Station and the Dhobi Ghat (which was being dropped at a viewing platform for 10 minutes). I blame the tour company here - not the driver - for putting a totally unsuitable and unprepared person to drive us around all day. It wasnt a cheap trip either and we are unlikely ever to return to Mumbai to visit all the places we missed. I must say the visit to the Slum included in this tour was first class, I believe the guides name was Varsha who spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the slum - this part of the tour was excellent. I'd advise to do the slum and the city tour separately, or indeed get a taxi into the city centre for a fraction of the cost of this tour and look at the monuments yourself. Apart from the slum that was what we got!

All the historic site we were taken too were great. The explanation of the recycling industry in the slums was amazing. The lunch (actually dinner) with guides family let us get to know the locals.

Having a layover in Mumbai, this tour seemed like the only way to see the city in a day. It was a good choice. The first part was a city tour spent mainly south where a lot of the grand colonial architecture lies. The Ghandi museum was good and I would have happily spent more time there. Didn't appreciate the 'gift shop' near Gateway of India. Overall good though thanks to my great guide Neha and driver Jq. The afternoon was the Dharavi Slum tour which was excellent. Pooja was a wonderful and fun guide who lived there. I was initially hesitant about booking this however very glad I did. Eye opening and informative. Recommend this especially if you have limited time here.

We did a full day tour with Shuaib after finishing our cruise. With both a guide and driver, it seemed easy ( for Mumbai) to get into and out of various sites. Shuiab had an itinerary planned but was very open to change depending on our requests. he handed us of to a different guise who finished our day with a very in-depth tour of the slums.

Tour very good and Varsha was a great guide and very informative but our understanding it was a personal tour which it wasn’t had around 12 people for the first half of our tour.

Both guides, Shrudi (city) and Varsha (for Dharavi Slums) were great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Sultan (driver) did an exceptional job. The highlight was the slum tour. This tour covers many places/attractions. But the traffic in Mumbai is terrible. Be prepared to spend good amount of time in the car.

Magical Mumbai Tours accepted and confirmed our booking and took our money for an 8 hour private tour of Mumbai City & Slums. We arrived to find that due to demand, they had changed it to a group tour with 27 other people, with no warning or refund. Some others had received an email or text, but others like us, had no warning until we arrived at the meeting place, by which time it was too late to make other arrangements. After waiting one hour in the hot sun whilst they dealt with all the unhappy private tour customers and arranged us into groups, we travelled one hour in an old bus with broken seats to the slum area. We were then taken to a coffee shop with one toilet and told to buy anything we needed for the day as there would be no lunch break. By this time it was 1235 pm. After waiting for everyone to use the toilet, we started the slum tour at 1320 and our guide was excellent, though the tour was again 2 hours in hot sunshine with no food or toilet stop. The slum tour wasnt just our group, but others who had joined by taxi or car and at the end of the tour we then stood around for a further 1 hour whilst they located our bus, found transport for those by taxi and car and the rest of our group returned from their tour and found the bus. By this time it was 1635 with no drink or toilet stop (4 hours). We were then taking the 1 hour back to the cruise terminal so that those who had booked the slum tour only could get off and advised that the City Tour would take a further 4 hours. By this point, 7 hours into our 8 hour tour, only having seen the slums, no toilet stop and the prospect of a further 4 hours without water or food, most people exited the tour. On asking about a refund, our fellow customer was told that there would not be one. Magical Mumbai Tours have definitely damaged the Viator brand and should be removed from their website.

Great trip! The tour guide was very accommodating. We had a tight schedule and needed to be back soon and the tour guide was able to manage that well.
