We spent a full fun day with our guide Antonio visiting a local indoor market, a private tile workshop and wineries. The scenery was great, we had lunch at a restaurant by the sea side (lunch not included in the tour), visited a couple of great wineries. Antonio was a very good guide, full of enthusiasm about showing us around in the Arrabida region of Portugal. Would highly recommend.

This is a top rate excursion for anyone looking to see the Arrabida/Setubal area of Portugal. Our tour guide was Andrew (AKA Andre) and he was excellent. Andrew was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and willing to cater our tour to our likes/interests. The tour started at the Livramento Market with a sweet treat. Next we headed to the Arrabida Natural Park for amazing views. We visited the first winery, which was beautiful and has quite the history. We enjoyed tasting the wine too. In addition, Andrew provided us time to walk around the charming town. Andrew recommended a great local spot for lunch with a variety of seafood. After lunch, we toured a local tile factory and learned the European traditional methods for tile making. Then we headed to the Sesimbra Castle (AKA Church of the castle) for more breathtaking views. Also, we got to venture out on our own in the fishing town of Sesimbra. Lastly, we finished the tour at another beautiful winery with a cheese and wine tasting. As mentioned, if you are looking for a great day filled with food; wine; history; amazing views; and interesting information about Portugal, then look no further and book this tour!

Andy was our main tour guide but Pedro picked us up and dropped us off and they tag-teamed and worked together all day. They were both so fun, knowledgeable, funny, and generally excited to be there. We learned so much and had such an amazing, stress-free time where we could just sit back and let them take us to their favorite, beautiful places. The locations were all better than expected and the guides were the cherry on the milkshake. We left the tour feeling like they were our friends, not our tour guides. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

This tour was really disappointed. Truly expensive for what we saw and did. Would not recommend it. Worst tour that we ever did in many countries and Portugal. Rui was good, but not the tour. Just don't do it.

Our guide Rui was great. Felt the tour was overpriced for what we saw/did on tour. Would not recommend this tour. Have done viator tours in Portugal and other countries that I would recommend. This one I would not. Very disappointed by cost vs experience

The tour company was nice and took us everywhere promised. The locations were good. It seemed like they were a start up company and did not have the knowledge or logistics to be the guide for this tour. When picked up at cruise terminal, we spent a good half hour driving thru Lisbon to pick up another group on are "private tour." After a good hour drive, when we arrived at the first Winery, another guide picked up the other group. When we were ready to return back to Lisbon, once again, the other group was put in our van. Luckily they were a great group, but this was not what I was expecting from a Viator .

Great tour guide Antonio! Great service, and a guy that really know the best spots and places. I had a great experience.

This tour was fantastic. The wineries and all the stops were great!! Our tour guide, Fernando, was amazing. He did everything possible to make this day memorable.

Had a great time on the wine tour. Rui Christo, our guide, provided excellent insight and made our day a very enjoyable and unforgettable tour. We will certainly take another trip with him and use Viator in the future. Thanks again….

Everything was good, had plenty of wine tasting, some history and sightseeing. Not sure we got the full package as it was a national holiday, but still good

Rui was a amazing tour director. On our tour we had a couple from Brazil, couple from Mexico and myself (solo from WI) Rui flawlessly translated 3 languages and made everyone so comfortable. His positive upbeat personality was inspiring to us all. He was intuitive to know to give us all space as if he did not linger everyone spoke slower do I could understand the conversation. Basically I could pick up if the Spanish was not rapid speech. The 2 wineries were outstanding choices away from the typically tourist attractions. We also stopped at a food market, saw how tiles were hand painted, drove through the mountains and walked the castle. Plus having a multicultural experience with everyone bonding over excellent wine and cheese. Lunch was great. Rui helped me pick out and order perfect sea bass for one. The price was reasonable and the best grilled sea bass that I ever experienced. Loved talking with my new friends of the differences/similarities of our 4 countries. This adventure with Rui was one of the best day tours that I have experienced!! This is one not to miss from the ease of being picked up from the hotel to the comfort of the van. Nice bring away from all the tourists and enjoy nature. Thanks Rui for a great trip-you would be lucky to have him as your guide.

Lovely tour, with Andy our tour guide, nothing was too much trouble, plenty of wine, saw a few animals, some sightseeing and some history which was a nice mixture, we met some lovely people from New York, lovely conversation and banter, good day all round 👍

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this experience. From the pickup, to the guide (PEDRO!!), to the wine, to the other guests…we had the best time! This tour will go down as one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Wonderful food and wine and the tile factory visit was incredible! Pedro had us out and about for 11 hours and it was amazing!!

What a wonderful tour this was. Though it was described as a private tour we mingled with other tour guides and groups and it was more like a day of friends having a fun road trip with great wine, food and fun. Our guide Andy and the other guide Pedro were knowledgeable about the area and encouraged us to try new foods and wines. The market was beautiful with the freshest produce and fish and we enjoyed the tile factory very much. Most of all we enjoyed all our new friends and would recommend Andy and Pedro to anyone visiting.

We love our wine and this first time adventure to Portugal with this excursion fit the bill! Not only did we see vineyards and sample wine we got a taste of authentic local sites like the fish market, a local restaurant and tile factory. Our guide Andy was amazing! Can warmly recommend the small group wine tour. It is small groups indeed, we were 4 people divided on two cars and two guides. Instead of visiting the large vineyards we got to visit some smaller, and far, far less crowded vineyards. The restaurant stop for lunch was excellent and authentic, and the tile factory was a great stop too. The guides are great! We ended up drinking more than tasting wine, but what are you gonna do? 😃

They picked up from Lisbon and took us to Arrábida. The ride was full of beautiful Landscapes. The guide was knowledgeable and interested in us having a great experience rather than just trying things. We also visited a tile factory. Overall we had a wonderful time. I totally recommend this tour!

Our guide was Pedro. He helped make the trip fun! He was super accommodating in regards to drop off locations. We tasted 8 different wines and he helped us "de-bone" the fish at lunch. We also had a side stop to view how tiles are made. We really appreciated that stop and bought some handmade tiles. Great tour!! Highly recommend!!
