Me, my husband, and our 2 kids (ages 13 and 9 years) did the private arctic fjord tour with Arbo and we had an amazing time. It snowed most of the day and Arbo took us to some beautiful sites, brought a yummy lunch including hot chocolate, and took many great photos of our family. He's an amazing photographer and one of the best parts of the trip were the great photos he took of our family. Usually I'm the one behind the camera, so I don't get to be in many photos, so this was really nice for me. I would 100% recommend this tour with Arbo and Greenlander!!

What an amazing trip! From the start till the finish! At first, we had contact with Kerttu, really appreciated the speed in our contact, the good suggestions (for example: which day to go?) and what suits best for us (we like really small groups, attention for nature, enjoying the silent). We chose the private tour, we went on another tour (by boat) and it was to way to massive for us. And boy, what a good choice we made! We had Markus as guide. A nice, enthusiastic, passionated and ‘dedicated for the job’ person. He has so much knowledge, not only about the northern light but about the wildlife, living in Norway, traveling, food and off course campervans :). During our northern light trip Markus searched for the best spot, the first one was to windy, the next too far to walk in the snow and so we ended up at a special, almost hidden private beach. Away from the busses and large groups of people. And after not even that much time we saw the magnificent northern light. This was only because Markus looked at all the apps where we had to go and what time we should be there. We had a really, really great day! We made a fire, roasted marshmallows, Markus and our 9 year old found beautiful stones and shells and off course we ended up with beautiful northern light pictures 🤗 One of the things I appreciated most is that Markus is a really good driver. We were driving around in the middle of te night on icy roads and we felt really safe. Let me finish by saying that in the unique experience of seeing the northern lights, Markus made it even more special by just being him! Thanks a lot for this 🙏🏻.

Really friendly guide, has good knowledge of the area, showed us beautiful places outside Tromso. The photos that the guide, Markus, takes are mesmerising and homemade cookies are divine.

Great expierence! There is much more than nothern lights and Markus showed us the beauty of the environment. He is a very competent and friendly guy. And a very safe driver, which was not unimportant on the icy roads. The tour took us to some of the most beautiful places in the area. He also gave us good tips for our own photos and Markus took some beautiful professional photos as well. It was much more personalised than the tours offered by the larger providers. Definitely a clear recommendation.

We had Markus for our tour. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work. Despite the poor weather and lack of light, he made a real effort to ensure we had the best experience possible. His wife also baked us cookies - which were lovely - and he took some incredible photos which he shared on the same day.

Markus looked after us fabulously and took us on a wonderful tour of the stunningly beautiful fjords outside Tromso on 6th November. He took lots of great photos for us. A great private tour of the mountains and fjords. Guided by Markus we visited many sites with wonderful views of northern Norway in winter. Markus was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and cooperative guide. The four of us enjoyed the magnificent landscapes and learned a lot about Norway. Markus picked out a particularly scenic location where we enjoyed a picnic lunch. The route of the tour was configured to the interests of each of us. We took many photos as did Markus. He emailed his to us soon after the trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a professional and complete tour of the Tromso area.

Honestly incredible views. Markus’s experience in the area is well evident as he knows all the spots to get the best views for us to take photos of the fantastic views. Our family had a great experience! We had two adults, an 18 year old, 14 year old, and an 8 year old on the private fjord tour. Markus took us to beautiful locations and had an easy and conversational way of teaching us about each specific location and the Troms area in general. The vehicle was very comfortable and clean. Kids loved having hot chocolate to warm up and the lunch was warm and delicious--all while taking in some of the most amazing views in the area. An added bonus is the opportunity to have beautiful pictures of the family and landscape taken for you while you enjoy the view. This is a personalized experience, and we highly recommend and would love to go on each of the offered tours if time allowed!

We only had a single day in Tromsø and Markus at Greenlander made the most of it! He collected us from the harbour and we then enjoyed a five-hour adventure of exploration around the stunning landscape. Our trip was in the middle of winter - full polar night - so there was very little light. There was also a huge snowstorm sweeping across the area which could have limited visibility. Markus was able to read the weather and knows the terrain so well that he navigated a path through the wind and snow to some amazing sights. For instance... a frozen waterfall, reindeer grazing by the sea, grass-topped traditional boat houses, fabulous fjord views and - maybe the best bit! - a picnic on the beach... at minus-5C! All in total comfort in the all-weather 4x4 minivan. Markus is a very knowledgable and friendly guide who was able to give us plenty of background info about what we were seeing. We felt entirely safe as he drove through the snow-stacked rural roads. He also took a superb set of photos of our trip, and was completely happy to tailor the trip to our preferences. Totally recommended. We'd love to do it all over again!

We booked two different tours with Greenlander, and both were highlights of our trip to Tromsø. We did the private tour for the Northern Lights due to the age of our little one. We really enjoyed the one on one aspect of the tour and the considerations Markus took with our little, while weighing the best chances for us to to see any light activity. I honestly believe if there is any activity to be seen, Markus will ensure you see it. We also did the tour of Kvaløya Island. Essentially like getting your own on location photos from a professional, while also getting a driving tour of stunning scenery. We really appreciated the photography aspect of this tour, which to be honest was a nice surprise! With a little one, you are fairly preoccupied, and having someone capture everything you experienced on the day for your memories, was really unique and special. Very enjoyable to work with, are flexible, and will customize accordingly.

We had first scheduled two tours with Greenlander: the private northern lights tour and the scenic fjord tour. Our group had expanded from 4 to 8, and the private tour could not accommodate all of us, so Greenlander arranged for another tour group to do the northern lights tour. That was service beyond what was asked for. We had gotten in late from the lights tour, and the next day did the fjord tour. I was very grateful that this tour was a calm stop and go tour of the scenic views along the fjord land. Markus took us to many beautiful sights all the while telling us about Norway and the culture. Definitely setting aside time to do this tour!

We (myself with my 2 daughters) did a private day-tour with Greenländer and for all of us it was a perfect tour. It started with an easy communication with Kerttu for the booking who always responded very quickly to all my questions. On the day of our tour we were picked ud up by our guide Arbo in a Mecedes-mini-Van. We drove to the Kvaloy-island giving us an impression of the fantastic nature outside of Tromsö. Arbo was a great guide!! He not only showed us beautiful photo spots but also took amazing pictures of us – since he is a professional photographer. This was a big add-on which was not expected when we booked the tour. Additionally, the tour included a snack, hot chocolate and cookies to make sure we were not hungry. After around 5 hours we were back in our hotel, very happy about seeing such a beautiful landscape. Directly on the next day we received a link to our pictures - memories from an outstanding daytour – thank you so much Arbo – 3 times more than 5 stars from all of us.

We had limited time in Tromso and we wanted to see the best scenery of the fjords, without the stress of driving ourselves or being part of a big group. Our guide Arbo was fantastic: he had so much knowledge of the area: geography, history and culture, and took us to the most amazing scenic locations which we would never have found ourselves, and which the bigger tour buses couldn’t reach. He is also an expert photographer and took some fantastic photos of us so we could focus on enjoying the scenery. We are really glad we chose this trip - it was well worth it.

Greenlander gets 5 stars! We traveled to Norway with our two daughters, 13 and 14. We booked two tours with Greenlander: the private driving tour around the fjords and the Northern Lights Chase. We were extremely impressed with our guide and the tours. They were well organized, well paced and fun! The stops, the snacks and the views were perfect. Not to mention Arbo's photos are INCREDIBLE! We have great memories and gorgeous pictures to look back on our holiday. We highly recommend this company for personalized attention and an amazing look at Norway. Arbo took us on a day tour around the Fjords and it was magic. The landscape around Tromso is breathtaking and we had a great day. We were picked up from the hotel and spend about 5 hours on the road, jumping on a frozen lake, walking on the beach, having a picnic by one fjord...I highly recommend Greenlander. And special thanks to Arbo, he takes amazing pictures!!!!
