We had an amazing - 2h30 minute-experience with Dingle Sea Safari, a family business. We saw seals, sharks, puffins and dolphins. The speed boat (ours was named Adrenaline!) is necessary as most animals can be seen near islands which are quite far from Dingle, past the Dingle peninsula (the blasket islands). The driver was great! Thank you all!

Two family groups (8 in total)on the trip. One of the kids had been carsick and the Dingle Sea Safari staff could not have been nicer. The boat is in excellent condition and felt very safe. The driver was extremely knowledgeable and fun - we saw dolphins, seals and a variety of bird life. Would certainly recommend.

The most amazing trip from start to finish. It really was special. From Bridget organising our trip with the very changeable weather to Jimmy’s vast knowledge of the history, geology and wildlife of the peninsula and islands we were treated incredibly well and had a fantastic time. The boat ride alone is great fun. There is so much to see along the peninsula and islands and we stopped at every opportunity to take photos. Undeniably we did go out to try and see some wildlife and we had said to ourselves not to get our hopes up as it can never be guaranteed but we were spoilt. We saw seals and their pups up on the beach and seals swimming off the shore, red deer grazing along the top of the island and then a minke whale and dolphins during a feeding frenzy time. It was a real privilege to see all these beautiful animals in their natural environment, and a big thank you to Jimmy for making every effort to show us as much as possible. Thank you to Bridget, Jimmy and all the Sea Safari team for a memorable trip. We can’t wait to see you all again in the springtime!

Superb afternoon with Jimmy Flannery on a private rib hire for a group of clients who were keen to experience Dingle’s coastline, beautiful islands and wildlife out on the water. Very comfortable, exhilerating and informative trip, we learned alot, had loads of fun and didn’t get wet ! 10/10 experience from first contact (last minute idea) totally adaptible until we landed back on the jetty, highly recommended and great value.

Big Expectations Surpassed. 9 of us took to the waves with Jimmy our captain, guide and local champion. It was a foggy, atmospheric day and our most fun and uplifting experience in years! These waters and Islands are mesmeric and elemental, imagine our joy when Jimmy the Captain was the same! He is of Kerry, of Dingle Bay, of the Blaskets and you can hear the land and ocean speaking through him. We laughed repeatedly as we were wowed by nature. Best fun in years as a group, best value in decades. Wash Rinse Repeat...do it please.

Brilliant experience and certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Dingle. Jimmy, our captain made everyone feel at ease and was as knowledgeable as he was friendly, bringing the trip to life, with a wealth of interesting information about the geography and history of this unique area as we drifted in and out of amazing sea caves, watched minke whales and dolphins surface beside the boat and saw a host of other wildlife including seals, red deer, puffins and many other sea birds. A great trip from start to finish. Great team to work with also. Mary kept us informed when the trip would be possible with windows in the unseasonable weather we had that week. Would highly recommend.

Great experience. We saw two pods of dolphins, seals and the puffins. After 3 weeks in England and Ireland, our grandson said this boat ride was the best part of our trip!

Amazing tour! We saw puffins, seals, and dolphins less than a meter from the boat. Jimmy was a great guide and taught us about history, geology, etc. It didn’t hurt that the weather was perfect! Definitely worth booking the private tour.

Incredible sites and history of the Dingle coast and islands. Really enjoyed the captain’s personal stories and hearing about his family history making a living on the water. Best way to experience the sights. Far better than driving.

Dingle Sea Safari delivered an awesome safari! Jimmy and his wife were excellent hosts, providing a thrilling adventure and sharing their passion for the ocean. Spectacular scenery, wildlife sightings, and their personal touch made it an unforgettable experience. Loved the fossiled dino skin ha! Highly recommended! No one got seasick which was a first for us!

The whole experience from start to finish was nothing short of incredible. Jimmy was great fun and had plenty of knowledge of the area and wildlife. I booked a private rib for 8 friends Jimmy was just excellent, everyone loved it! and the variety of sea life and bird life was just incredible.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Jimmy, was extremely knowledgeable and fun! We went into a sea cave, learned about the geology/history of Dingle and The Blasket Islands and also got to see Puffins, Dolphins, and Seals. The wildlife was great, but to be honest we would’ve enjoyed this tour even if we didn’t see any animals. The covered, private boat was definitely worth the extra money as Jimmy was able to cater to us exclusively and gave up plenty of time to take pictures/move about the boat.

Amazing experience & it is a must thing to do when in Dingle! Our captain, Jimmy was fantastic with his wit, humor & fun he provided our group. We were able to see a humpback whale!, dolphins, sea lions, and tuna. As an added bonus we also saw the rare dinosaur skin, the mountain full of snakes & the rarest of the rare sighting...a dolphin bird 😉 Truly a wonderful experience that we all can't stop talking about. Don't miss this excursion on your trip!

The staff upgraded our experience to A private tour to accommodate us when weather forced the cancellation of the original trip. It was informative, interactive and Skipper Jim’s sense of humour kept us amused. We saw seals, dolphins and minke whales in addition to leaning about the stunning history and geography of the Dingle Peninsula. Two thumbs up!
