We booked with [email protected] FB PAGE Euritourguide From the moment we were picked up, we knew we had randomly found the tour guide for us. Euri is passionate about Mexico and is very knowledgeable in regard to its history. She is very fluent in English. She pays attention to details and gears the adventures to your interests and personality. We had a very memorable day and continued to book tours with her.

Kay tours provided an amazing day for us. Early departure, which got us to Chichen Itzá just as they open and before any crowds. From there we visited the first Cenote which was wonderful to swim in and we had it completely to ourselves. Afterwards we had a nice buffet lunch. Then we went to a covered cenote. It was a little chilly but very refreshing and we had a good time. Hugo was a fantastic tour guide who provided great information about all sites. Driver Marco was a great driver who navigated some challenging roads with skill and easy. Thank you all.

Our excursion with Beto and Charlie was one of the best excursions we've ever had! From the moment we were picked up to the second we were dropped off, we were made to feel special. With two teenage boys, we needed a mixture of history with the Mayan ruins as well as some adventure with swimming in cenotes and ziplining across the cave. We could not have asked for more with Beto's extensive knowledge of the Mayan civiliation while we explored Ek' Balam. After we visited two cenotes, each with a unique experience. Beto was extremely informative and tremendously friendly. We encountered many of his colleagues in our travels and everyone raved that we had "the best" guide. I cannot help but agree whole-heartedly after our day together! They were extremely flexible to accommodate our requests, even going so far as to arrange the purchase pf a custom made Mayan calendar which required finding a specialist that could make what we wanted quickly and deliver to us en-route. I'm so happy I followed other traveler's advise and booked Kay Tours. Especially, I'm happy to have been paired with Beto (Alberto Bennevendos Talamas) and Charlie (Carlos). You should be so lucky as to have them!!

We had an amazing day with Jessica around Yucatan. We stated by seeing Chichen Itza before the crowds and got to cool off in a beautiful Cenote before amazing lunch. There were plenty of beverages for the 2 of us and we enjoyed this day so much! I can only recommend this tour 😊

My mom and I could not have been happier with our private tour to Chichen Itza, Saamal Cenote, Valladolid! Our guide Alberto was outstanding! All the details were planned in advance, from the entry fees, tolls, lunch, and refreshments. Alberto picked us up at our resort at 7am. The drive to Chichen Itza was around 2.5 hours. We spent about 2 hours at Chichen Itza. Alberto was extremely knowledgeable and answered our questions throughout the tour. He guided us around the ruins, explained significant history points, and used visuals from his iPad. He helped us take plenty of pictures and instructed us on how to bargain with the local merchants. Next, Alberto drove us to the Cenote Saamal. We loved swimming in the cenote water!! Alberto stayed back and helped us take plenty of pictures. After we were done swimming, we had lunch nearby, which was included in the tour. The lunch was buffet style and so delicious! There were plenty of options and the food was authentic! The last part of our tour was exploring the historical Valladolid. We had the flexibility to explore at our own pace. After we were done exploring, Alberto picked us up and he drove us back to our resort. Thank you Alberto for taking good care of us! We highly recommend the private tours though Kay Tours! The price is very much worth it!

This tour is an absolute must do from a cultural, food and fun experience. Our tour with Cedrick and Charlie was the highlight of our trip. Yes, its more expensive than a group tour but worth every penny!! We learned so much about the Mayan culture , Cenotes & Chitchen Itza. The cenotes were both breathtaking and something we dont have in the US. The tour is personalized to your preferences. Our guides and driver went above and beyond!!! I'm not sure if you can request specific guides but if you can, ask for Cedrick & Charlie!

What a perfect day we had! My friend and I had the pleasure of Jessica as our driver/tour guide. She was so accomodating and so well versed in the historical information. I have no idea how she retains all that information. The tour definitely started from the moment she picked us up at our hotel, she shared lots of local knowledge about the area. She went out of her way to ensure the tour was customized to our needs and interests. We were 2 woman alone and we felt 100% safe and taken care of by Jessica. A private tour was worth every single penny over the big group tours on the buses!!! I am now spoiled for any tours moving forward. Kay Tours was fabulous to deal with from the beggining, answered all our questions and everything was as we expected /asked for. I would not hesitate to book with Kay Tours again. And I would love to have Jessica as my guide again! thank you for a wonderful day!

My 9 year old and I went on a private tour of Chichen Itza and two Cenotes. Our guide Alejandro was one of the most well spoken people I have ever met and had an incredible wealth of knowledge about the Mayan sites and Mexican history in general. He also took an amazing photo of the two of us at Chichen Itza and was very patient and made a few extra stops for us along the way. I highly recommend Alejandro and if the other guides are half as good as him you are in great hands. The car was a newer model, well maintained and very comfortable. I found the price to be extremely reasonable as well for the excellent tour!!!

Amazing tour of Chichen Itza. Loved that it was private and we could go at our own pace with our kids. SUV had a toddler car seat for our youngest child making us feel secure. Well organized with all tickets/fees paid in advance so we could move seamlessly between venues and spend time enjoying the sights. Lunch buffet we enjoyed was plentiful with lots of choices. The Cenote was very beautiful and fun. Thank you to Betty our tour guide for all the education on Chichen Itza, Valladolid and Mexico! We'll use Kay Tours again!

Everything was amazing and taken care of. Daniel’s knowledge of, and passion for, the history of Chichen Itsa was inspiring and we learned so much about the history of this incredible site.

Where do I start. Cedric and Romance arrived early so there was no waiting. From start to finish they took their time and made our trip an experience to remember. Each of them were very personable and took time to include our daughter every step of the way. Cedric was great at making us laugh as well as giving us tips to help us navigate each stop. Kay tours came highly recommended with the reviews we saw and we booked this tour months in advance as result. Did not disappoint and Cedric and Romane ended up be a highlight for a family. Believe me they had some stiff competition with the sights they showed us. Chiten Itza was fantastic to cross off our bucket list. The insights given during the tour was an unexpected bonus. The food was amazing and plentiful. The Cenotes were beautiful and refreshing. We even had an opportunity to buy our favourite tequila from Jalisco! 10/10 for Kay Tours. We are unwinding from a long day that went by quickly for how much we did. Thank you for everything. If your on the fence on who to book with. You will not be disappointed.

We did a private excursion to go to Chichen Itza and a cenote and the whole trip was amazing. Alex was at our resort right on time and he brought us breakfast just in case since it was really early when he picked us up. Alex's extensive knowledge of the area enriched our experience, particularly his engaging historical insights. One of the highlights of the tour was the ability to bypass the crowds. Being among the first visitors at Chichen Itza and having the cenote all to ourselves was a privilege. Even at lunchtime, we were the first people to be at the restaurant. This seamless avoidance of crowds truly enhanced our enjoyment. I highly recommend this company and should I find myself in the Cancun area again, another tour with them would be a definite must-do.

On their website, Kay Tours proclaims, “Your day with us (is) the best day of your vacation.” This is no idle boast. We booked a private day trip to Chichen Itza from our resort on the Riviera Maya near Tulum and it turned out to be a marvelous day. Our guide, Alberto P., was outstanding. He was the consummate professional in every way. He was scheduled to pick us up at 6 a.m. We went down to the main lobby about ten minutes before 6 to find Alberto already waiting for us. His car was comfortable, immaculate, and stocked with water, soft drinks, snacks-- and even a breakfast with pancakes! (He offered to stop and pick up hot coffee if we wanted, but we declined.) And, while our Spanish is embarrassingly terrible, Alberto’s English is excellent! It was about a two hour drive from our resort to Chichen Itza. The time flew by as Alberto shared his knowledge of the natural, social, and political history of the Yucatan Peninsula, the history and culture of the Mayan people, and background information about the astounding archaeological treasures that are still being discovered there to this day. But this wasn’t a rehearsed lecture. Rather, he assiduously tried to find out what we already knew and what we were most interested in and tailored his comments accordingly. In the end, it felt more like a comfortable and fascinating conversation with a knowledgeable friend rather than a lecture. We arrived at Chichen Itza a few minute before the site opened for the day. Alberto had already purchased our admission tickets so that when the the gates opened we were among the first people admitted, well before the huge crowds and big tour buses that start arriving two or three hours later. He proceeded to lead us through the complex, all the while shaping his presentation based on what we already knew and our interests and questions. As someone who (many years ago) was a cultural anthropology minor in college, I particularly appreciated the way Alberto differentiated between proven archaeological facts, probable but as yet unproven theories, and discredited ideas and wild speculation. He even shared links to a couple of National Geographic documentaries about Chichen Itza and the Mayan culture that he thought were particularly good and that we would enjoy! After touring Chichen Itza, we headed for the town of Valladolid, stopping on the way at a cenote and restaurant for a buffet lunch that featured traditional Mayan cuisine. The food was delicious and Alberto told us all about the various dishes and how they differed from what Americans traditionally think of as Mexican food, as well as recommending his personal favorites. (The lunch is included as part of the private tour, but we did leave a cash tip.) After lunch we visited the town of Valladolid, and here’s where booking a private tour paid off again. My wife is very interested in textile arts and clothing and she wanted to visit a small museum in Valladolid called Museo de Ropa Etnica de Mexico, or MUREM. Although Alberto was not familiar with this museum, he was able to find it and take us there. This is something you could never do on a larger group tour and it was well worth it. A private tour costs more, but the rewards are great. Not only do you get a more personal experience, but you control (within reason) the itinerary. And a private tour that starts early in the morning puts you ahead of the large bus tours. Every stop on our tour was not crowded at all while we were there, but by the time we were leaving, the large bus tours were arriving and the crowds were growing rapidly. (That said, any tour of Chichen Itza is better than no tour at all!) Two final notes: First, my wife and I have some slight mobility issues-- a knee replacement, a hip replacement, a touch of arthritis. Alberto was incredibly solicitous and conscientious about insuring that we were safe and comfortable and very careful to be sure the route we were walking was not too strenuous for us. Second, I love driving, but I’m a notoriously nervous passenger when someone else is behind the wheel. On top of everything else, Alberto turned out to be an excellent driver!

James & Christian provided our family of 5 with a wonderful tour of Chichen Itza, Selva Maya, and Valladolid. James provided a history of the Mayan culture, facts about the different plants and animals, and flexibility with our 3 young kids.

My husband and I had the most amazing private excursion with David as our guide. He picked us up from our AirBnB in Cancun at the earliest time they had available. We got to Chichen Itza, there were a handful of groups already there. We toured the area at our leisure with David telling us the history, and by the time we left wowww it was packed. We also swam in the cenote with only a couple of other people. I am so glad we did early pick up and didn't have to battle the crowds. There were some cute boutiques in Valladolid. I would have stayed longer in that area and skipped the town square, personally. My parents did the tour with a group on a bus and they regretted it. The private excursion was worth every penny. And if you have a great guide like David, be sure to tip!

Our guide was phenomenal!!!! My husband says his name is Pablo. I hope that’s correct because he was the best! The BEST! Patient, informative, experienced, knew what to do when and how. We trusted him explicitly and we would again! The private excursion is 100% worth the cost!! We had the perfect experience. We are about to plan another trip with our kids and are honestly a little afraid as our expectations were set so high. Loved it!
