We were collected on time, no problem here. The only hitch was that no tickets were bought for the cruise so we had to wait a whole hour (or close to it) in an ugly parking lot. By the time we finished the late cruise we had exactly 3 mins to drive to some temple to see the lights. I think we got there at 21:57 and the lights went off at 22:00. This was an expensive evening to just basically see one thing. The cruise though was wonderful, and they do buy a VIP ticket so that you don’t sit with trillions of people. However , the sailing times of the cruises should be taken into consideration and tickets bought earlier, so that you can board immediately.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the great experience we had with Tom. The boat cruise was a good orientation to the city, and the driving and walking we did helped us better understand Shanghai. Tom's English was excellent and driving skills made us very comfortable as well. He listened to our questions and crafted the stops based on our interests. A great time!

Hi We just had a great time going through the Huangpu River Cruise. The guide Roy was fantastic, his knowledge of history of the places and historical characters was simply amazing. Mr. Tom Zhang, my guide, is an excellent person, who is very knowledgeable about the history of the city, and most he is very good at English. I had a wonderful / memorable city tour with him. He showed me both old and new city, a river cruise to Bund. Money well spent. If you have only a night to stay in Shanghai, this is the best possible tour you can have.

Everything was perfect, from scheduling to being picked up at our hotel. Not only does Tom know his stuff, he curated a perfect evening. It gave us an overview of what to check out latter with more time. It was also nice to have someone readily available to take pictures that were not selfies.

Our tour guide Roy has show us a vip cruise thru the Huangpu river , a historic site of the bund , the Shanghai tower , the oriental pearl , the financial hub at night , briefs the historic of the current and past … after the cruise , we went down to the Yu garden , the old and new town of Shanghai , the bustling of site the French concession area , the Christmas market , the financial building site at night . A short relax but a fruitful and knowledgeable tour.

We could not have had a better guide than Roy. His English was excellent, his knowledge of Shanghai encyclopaediac and his enthusiasm catching! We had the best time imaginable and cannot recommend him more highly.

This tour is completely incredible. We sailed through the peaceful waters of the river that allowed us to appreciate the spectacle that all the colors of the tall buildings give. Very beautiful. The quiet boat trip along the river is beautiful and the stillness of its waters allowed us to make several video recordings that will allow us to remember the beauty of the Shanghai landscape. Additionally, the color of the buildings in the old city of Shanghai are truly beautiful. The guide who accompanied us during the tour (Tom) was always very concerned about each one of us. My 87-year-old mother was delighted with the care she received from the guide. We had a spectacular time throughout the tour. We really had a great time and we got a very positive opinion from the people and in general from all of Shanghai.

Jane was energetic and fun and enthusiastic about explaining the Shanghai concrete jungle landscape. We visited 4 sights: cruise was definitely a highlight of Shanghai night lights were breathtaking, we also visited old town and French concession and Shanghai tower areas. I enjoyed my evening out with Jane. She also shared personal experiences of her life in Shanghai and answered any questions that came to mind.

This was a great tour. The boat cruise was a good way to see Shanghai at night and the other stops were perfect. You avoid a lot of lines with the tour and that gets you in the boat quicker with better seats. Both the guide and driver did a great job, everything ran like clockwork. I would definitely recommend.
