The guide was trying his best...but there really is no dark history in Bruges apparently... and we never got our beer vouchers (sad face).

Martin was an excellent guide, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable, he certainly added an extra dimension to our tour. Seeing Bruges by night was in my opinion the best way to see it, such a beautiful city, without doubt a fantastic couple of hours!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our night time walk with Martin on our recent visit to the beautiful city of Bruges. A great time of year to do this as it was dark so you benefitted from the lit up buildings and seasonal feel to the City. It was so interesting and we learnt so much about the history of this great place. Martin was a first class guide - not only was he very knowledgeable about Bruges sharing lots of interesting historical facts but he also tailored our tour a little - for example changed our location for a welcome beer at the end of the tour so that we were nearer the restaurant we had booked and showed us different venues to visit for our stay along the way. We also enjoyed some spooky tales and fun facts on our tour. All in all it's 1.5 hours well worth spending when you visit.

We booked a private walking tour with Legends Walking Tours. Normally they are free (tips to the guide) but we wanted to be able to go with just our group of seven. The tour did not disappoint. Martin was our guide, and he was excellent. Not only was he a terrific and engaging storyteller, but his knowledge of the history of Bruges was in depth. So much so that we are finding that as we are walking around town over the next few days, we are all pointing out and remembering details about buildings and places. I highly highly recommend booking the Private Evening Tour. There were a few fun "spookier" stories woven in, and we also appreciated Martin's sense of humor. We are all big fans of the movie "In Bruges" as well, and he was able to show us some of the locations of the film too. Great way to start our time in Bruges.

We had a private evening tour with Martin on our first day in Bruges. He was informative and entertaining and gave us lots of recommendations for bars/restaurants for our stay. The walking tour also helped us get our bearings. Would definitely recommend.

What an enjoyable way to see Bruges. We scheduled this free tour on our first night and it was lovely. The light as the sun was setting made for some really lovely photos. No crowds and fascinating stories about the history. It was a good pace and our guide was energetic and knowledgeable.
