Necdet collected us up at the port at the time arranged in a quality mini bus. Whilst travelling to Ephesus Necdet gave us a very comprehensive history of Ephesus and also many facts regarding the history and customs of Turkey. He was extremely knowledgable and had a good command of english, he tailored the tour to our specific requirements. At Ephesus he guided us to the main attractions giving explanations throughout. A good value for money tour.

Nico was a good knowledgeable guide, he managed to get us around Ephesus with minimal fuss considering it was extremely busy. The ceramic gallery and weaving rug factory were both interesting places to visit.

Our fantastic guide Atta had expert knowledge of our tour to Ephesus. He always kept an eye out for all of us, especially when the crowds came en mass. We all got great pictures. After we went to Virgin Mary’s House, you would appreciate this holy place if Catholic. At the end, we had a huge lunch, then got to see where beautiful carpets were made if you are interested in buying one.

We had the best day and the best guide! Yesra was full of knowledge about the area, she answered all of our questions and made it such a fun day. We had a few places that we specifically wanted to see and she was great about making sure that we got to see those. We did have to do the carpet weaving school, which was very interesting until the hard sell. It was worth it though to get to the Turkish BBQ lunch that followed. The food was DELICIOUS, and it was fun to sit out in the shade and enjoy some down time. Just a heads up - the red stuff is spicy - so don't overload your bread like I did :-) After lunch we hit one more of the places we wanted to see and learned a great deal about it from Yesra. The view from up there was amazing & she gave us some great information about the landscape and agriculture of the area. After that tour, she offered to take us to a couple other places - factories, demonstrations but she was fine when we declined. We got back to the port a little early, but it was perfect a perfect day. I would be remiss if I didn't mention our van driver as well - he was fabulous as well! The whole day we felt safe and we learned so much about an area we had never been to, but have always heard about. As Christians, it was amazing to walk where Paul & John both walked and to learn even more about those locations. I cannot recommend this tour enough. And if you are lucky enough to get Yesra as your guide, you are in for a great day!

This was a very educational tour. Our guide was quite knowledgeable. It was about an hour's drive from the cruise port and we learned a lot on the way there and back. It was while at Ephesus, though, that our guide really impressed us. He walked us through the highlights, worked us through and around the crowds, kept us in the shade when at all possible, and gave us great insight into the history of this incredible place.

Comfortable van and nice tour. Enjoyed seeing the carpet making but didn't like being brought into the back room and pressured to buy.

What an absolutely incredible tour guide, Necdet! Wow. All our expectations were met and more. Really tailored it to our likes, pace and budget. Super interesting and very knowledgeable. Great English, and a good sense of humor. Fetch perfectly on time as scheduled at the Cruise terminal. Very comfortable, spacious and great air con van bus. Went to House of Virgin Mary, then to Ephesus! It was extremely hot, and our one teenage daughter didn't have a hat. Necdet even loaned his own hat for her! We were also taken to an amazing pottery established family business, where they have been making clay items for centuries. We got to even try the manual clay wheel and with some help of Magic Man our one daughter made a clay bowl. The tour around the displays of pottery items was very interesting. Got to buy a few pottery items too. Necdet also took us to a weaving heirloom business, and we had a demo of how Turkish carpets are weaved. Then we were offered pomegranate and apple tea, while hundreds of Turkish carpets of all colours and sizes were rolled out infront of us. We walked on them to feel the different quality, and thickness and silk carpets. Absolutely breathtaking to see the amount of work required and months to make one Turkish carpet. They also courier all over the world for you. Necdet treated us to great traditional Turkish lunch, which was delicious. We even managed to round off the day with a personalized Turkish Bath! Highly recommend!!! We felt very privileged to have discovered Necdet, as he truly made our whole experience of Turkey a most enjoyable one, and we are already planning to return sometime again for a full tour with Necdet. He listens to the tourist, and very adaptable to your requests and wishes. Although it was very crowded and a busy day with so many cruise guests doing tours the same day, Necdet managed the timing and we managed to avoid long queues, and getting stuck on crowds. He knew the side routes and quieter spots too in the Ephesus tour he gave us too! Made all the difference, as it was a VERY hot day! Necdet also took us to a great shop where we could taste and buy all the Turkish delight we didn't even knew existed! There were various other products there too, like olive oils and baklava. He would also phone in advance of arrival, to for instance the Turkish Bath, to see if there was space and check the price, and advise them we were on our way. And finally....we got back to the cruise terminal and onto our cruise well in advance of the cruise departing. Highly highly recommend!!!

Everything went smoothly. We got off cruise ship and he was there with a sign to greet us. Driver navigated busy traffic well and met us perfectly every time. We got a ceramic demonstration, carpet demonstration and a food shop to try Turkish delight in addition to seeing Ephesus. We weren’t interested in seeing the Virgin Mary house so he was flexible and we skipped that. Lunch included was very good. A nice day with a knowledgeable private guide for your small group.

Necdet and Have a Travel was recommended to us by another tour company when they had no space for a trip we were looking at and I am so glad they did. From the first message Necdet reassured me someone would be there to meet us. Necdet met us with my daughter’s name as I had asked as a surprise with a little heart, very sweet. I knew that travelling with a child meant we couldn’t really do any of the ships tours as they were too long and all involved a stop at a carpet place. Necdet took us straight to Ephesus, kept the tour brief as we asked but very informative at the same time. My father in law and Necdet chatted everything from history to politics, we had a really lovely morning and I can’t thank or recommend Necdet and Have a Travel enough. He was particularly kind to my daughter. Thank you Please don’t hesitate to book

great tour, great guide. wonderful day. Guide was wonderful. I didn't enjoy the stops at the sales places. but the guide was great and driver was safe and friendly. took me everywhere I wanted to go and some I didn't but I understand this is what happens in Turkey on tours. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

Nico did an amazing job! We started the day with learning about authentic Turkish pottery. The people were so sweet and we even got to try Turkish coffee/tea. We then proceeded to House of Mary and then to Ephesus where Nico guided through the ruins and gave a thorough history. We preceded to have a refreshing lunch and learned about carpet making and the weaving process. This is a great experience that is perfect for people trying to make the most out of their time in Kusadasi!

Nestle, sp?, brought the history of her country to life for us! We were able to connect to the people of Turkey through talking to her, not only about the sites but daily life. The food was great and way more than we could eat or drink. We were not interested in rugs or jewelry but she realized I love sweets and took us to a shop where we enjoyed learning about the process and history of Turkish candies. So much more but you get the picture. Specially attentive to my husband who is very hard of hearing and has difficulty with walking up steps. He felt she truly cared and made this tour his best ever!

We were told how special Ephesus was, so we wanted to make sure we got an equally special tour of this magical ancient city, and we got just that! Necdet aka Nico was a wonderful guide, and extremely knowledgeable on the history, culture, archeology, etc. In fact, we were lucky enough to meet with one of the archeologists at Ephesus who happened to be one of Nico's mentors. Amazing day in Ephesus. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was amazing, our guide, new just about all there was to know about Ephesus, taking us back 6,000 yrs and then bringing us to the ruins and making it all come to life. Absolutely worth the money and compared to the cruise ship guides, well there simply was no comparison. Unfortunately After lunch we were taken to a carpet manufacturer who tried to sell us a carpet for £17,200, I’m afraid this has to stop as it is unprofessional and is not relevant to the tour in anyway, but would still highly recommend if you buy your own lunch.
