Crystal was the name of our tour guide, and she explained everything very clearly and was very knowledgeable. Our tour guide made herself available anytime we had any questions and managed the tour and group very well. Everything was timely and peaceful! I’ve been to South Korea for a week now and this is by far one of the most amazing days! I enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend.

Hello, if you are reading this, then you are probably looking for a private and personalized tour through the DMZ. If that’s the case, I CANNOT recommend this tour at all. Even though the guides and drivers are friendly, they will not be in charge of your tour. You will have to join a larger group with 0 customization options. You simply have to follow the group. So you will have exactly the same experience as someone who paid 1/5 of the price. On top of this the organizers have the audacity to charge you EXTRA for the admission to the DMZ, as well as lunch and tolls. A tour to the DMZ which doesn’t include the admission fee? For this price? Absolute joke. So please do yourself a favor and book a regular in the bus. You will have to join them anyway. The only thing included was pick up from the hotel. Every taxi will be 20x cheaper. Also, if you have someone in your group who cannot walk well, I generally would not recommend to join since a lot of walking required.

The day started with a misunderstanding on the pick up spot requiring a quick change to our tour time, which they handled with no problem. The tour was very interesting and our guide K did a wonderful job explaining the complicated history of the DMZ. We're glad we made the journey to a truly one is a kind place!
