A most amazing day and thank you so much to our fabulous guide Eddie it would not have been the same without him. We learned so much about the history of Korea and also his own personal stories it was truly special. Definitely recommend this tour you see everything. It is an early start and a long day but 100% worth it. Always good going on a private tour so you can go at your own pace and choose your own adventure.

A few days prior to our trip, Viator coordinator contacted us suggesting that we start our tour an hour earlier to avoid crowd since it’s high season for tourists. WOW what a great idea!!! Paul and the driver showed up promptly at our hotel at 0630. He knew how to navigate to minimize the crowd to maximize our tour and not be stuck behind big tour groups. Paul was funny, spoke excellent English, answered all of our questions and provided a great wealth of knowledge of the North and South Korean history to the present time. Our private tour included visiting the mountain suspension bridge which the weather was great during our trip. Paul made our tour a very memorable one. We have had Won as a tour guide and he was so amazing at explaining everything and showing us all the interesting places the site has to offer. The weather was great during our trip so we could see all the important landmarks on the border with North Korea. We also choose to visit the mountain suspension bridge cause it has such a great scenery! Make sure to BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR!!! It's really worth the money cause if you book a group tour, you won't get the immersive experience that we have had.

This was a great tour, our tour guy Won picked us up on time, so nice answered all our questions. DMZ so much information we didn’t know but learned with Won, we had lunch the we went to the Suspension Bridge which is stunning, Won took our pictures had so many laughs, great day today.

For our first visit to Korea, we felt it important to see the DMZ and understand a major era in South Korea’s history. Our tour was a very memorable one, made so by our tour guide, Tiger. It was a stroke of tremendous good fortune to have a retired Lt. Col. of the South Korean army be our guide. On the drive up, Tiger provided us with great insights on the DMZ, what to expect for our day, and sites of interest along the way. When we arrived, Tiger handled the ticketing process for the 3rd tunnel access, and did a great briefing for us, then walked us to the Unification Bridge, explaining things all along the way. He walked us down to the 3rd Tunnel and helped with photos. And when we arrived at the Dora Observatory, he helped us get our bearings and helped us spot North Korean landmarks thru the viewfinders. The crowds of tourists are tremendous, and having a guide - a veteran officer no less - made our experience much better than the group bus tour. We are happy that we booked this tour, but we are most grateful to Tiger for sharing so much and being the best guide to the DMZ that we could possibly ask for!
