An excellent tour. Rundale palace was the highlight - fascinating slice of Latvian history. Paul did a great job driving and guiding. Much appreciated his sharing of Latvia, the people, and the culture.

Paul was a great guide who shared personal experiences and made great recommendations (try the potato pancakes at the Palace). He made the trip interesting, and added extra insight into the things we saw.

We were picked up at the hotel by our guide and driver. We got on really well from the start and enjoyed Pauls company and conversation. Rundale Palace was amazing, we were happy to visit out of season as there were no crowds and we could take our time to take photos. We ate the potato pancakes in the restaurant and a piece of Chocolate cake before finishing off with some Cherry Balsam. Hill of Crosses was interesting, we had a walk around and purchased a cross at the local stall and left it on the hill before leaving.

Gints was kind and an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He made a very interesting and nice talk. Paldies!

I took this tour right before new year's, so it was just me and my guide. He was great! Not only did he give me helpful information about the places that we were visiting, he shared personal stories and answered my questions about Latvia in general. It was a great experience, and I definitely recommend it!

It was such a lovely trip to go on and Paul was our guide and driver for the second day running. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the history of the palace we were so lucky as my daughter and I were the only two people in the whole of Palace. It felt like we had it to ourselves.. The trips was great everything was arranged and sorted out for me. The guide was fantastic and so were the conversations in the car. It is amazing how much you can learn about a country and get new perspectives on a few hours trip with a stranger. Safe for solo female travellers.

Paul was a great host. He provided lots of information, great conversation, and excellent driving in a top-notch vehicle. The day was thoroughly enjoyable from the prompt pickup in the morning, accommodating my various small requests along the way, and even showing me on the way back exactly where I needed to go the next day. And yes, the sights are incredible.

April ‘23 my mom and I had an amazing day with Paul! Latvia is small, and does not have as many tour options as bigger Euro cities. This was the only tour we could find that offered the best variety, and someone who was more than just a driver. Paul did a great job explaining and connecting. My mom and I are Latvian-Americans that haven’t spent much (or any) time in Latvia. Paul was very easy to talk to about our background, as well as share his. He even looped in a request for an extra stop along the way. It was a big and sometimes emotional touring day - but totally perfect. For anyone without a personal connection to Latvia, you will learn a lot along the way.

I did 2 different private tours; first to Rundale and Hill of Crosses. Then to Turaida castle and Soviet Bunker. Great organization , good information , the vehicles were comfortable and in great condition. Info for the visited places was great too. Paul was really helpful and a great guide. We also stopped for the best burgers in Latvia. The tour was totally worth it and a great experience!!!
