Our guide, Cristian, was exceptional. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. He was very knowledgeable, patient, accommodating and creative with the videos and pictures. I highly recommend using his services.

A fantastic experience of Uyuni Salt Flats. Nadia, our guide, was wonderful and she looked after us very well giving us lots of information and taking lots of photos for us. Our driver was also brilliant and we felt completely safe in his driving and navigational skills out on the salt flats. Nothing was too much for either of them and they made sure we were able to stay out later in the salt flats to watch sunset and see the stars. Food and water provided all day long and was lovely. An absolutely brilliant experience!

I was supposed to go on this tour with my girlfriend, but she was unfortunately pulled away for work travel at the last moment. So in the end it was just me on a full day private tour. To be honest I was a little bit nervous being on a completely individual tour, as I thought it could turn out a bit awkward. However that was the furthest thing from what happened! Constancio (driver) and Jeaneth (guide) were so much fun and the tour significantly surpassed my expectations. My favorite parts were the meals to be honest, where we sat out completely alone--just the 3 of us--in random spots in the middle of the salt flats and had lunch (very filling and delicious with many items) and dinner on a full table with wine. Having the dinner time snacks in that atmosphere as the sun was setting and the mirror on the flats got ever better was unforgettable. Not to mention that on the ride home in the car we jammed out to 30-40 min latin hits. If I were to go again I would do another private tour, as it now feels like the only way to do it.

Our one day trip to the Salar de Uyuni was an incredible experience, thanks to Joker Expedition! Our journey started the night before in LaPaz where our driver Johnny met us at the hotel, drove us to the bus station and personally escorted us to the ticket counter to ensure we got on the right bus. (We do not speak Spanish) He also provided us with food and bottled water while we waited for our bus to depart. The bus itself was quite comfortable with reclining seats, blankets, plenty of storage for our backpacks and another meal/beverage provided for the overnight trip. We arrived in Uyuni at 7:00 AM where Cristian our driver was waiting to take us to the hotel for a delicious breakfast and some time to rest before the tour started. Jeanette was our guide for the day and she was great!! Very knowledgeable about the area, patient, and able to answer our questions - her English was good and she took some fun photos! Cristian was always smiling, very polite and helpful with setting up the lunch, etc. We ended the day viewing a breathtaking sunset with snacks and Bolivian wine! Upon returning to Uyuni we were able to use one of the hotel rooms to shower and change clothes. Cristian once again drove us to the bus station for our overnight return to La Paz. and we were offered another snack lunch on the bus. Many thanks to our superb guide Jeanette and driver Cristian for making our day so enjoyable and memorable! Would definitely recommend Joker Expedition to anyone thinking about doing this trip, even if just for a day.

Sunset tour was beautiful, food was good. Guide was friendly. Salt flats, of course, awe-inspiring. But paying for a private tour doesn't get you any customization--get a cheap tour instead for the same experience and meet some people. This was a full-day tour, and I'd only recommend the sunset portion. For the price, we should have: 1) Had literally any contact with the tour guides/agency prior to them showing up at our hotel (to which they should have showed up on time, not late) 2) Been ready to go from our hotel instead of wasting an hour driving into town and back to pick up our pre-prepared lunch for the day 3) Been able to tailor our tour at all (e.g. visit an additional nature-focused site instead of taking "silly pictures" at tourist-heavy spots). Despite point 2, we still had so much extra time that we were taken back to our hotel for a "siesta."

Everything was amazingly well organized from pick up at the hotel to drop off back, that was smooth and easy. Shower and breakfast before starting the tour. Then Julia and Fernando picked us up to give us the best experience. Nothing was trouble for those 2, including setting up the cuttest lunch table in the middle of the flats and then drink and nibbles for the sunset. In between Julia was well inspired to take funny and great photos to make this day unforgettable. Definitely recommend Joker if you want not trouble throughout the experience

What an amazing experience in Uyuni! My tour guide Alvaro and my driver Cristian were so friendly and thoughtful. The whole trip was very organized with lots of fun and knowledge. They also took many great pictures for me. The lunch was delicious. The sunset with the drinks and the snacks were breathtaking. I really enjoyed my time. Many thanks for Alvaro and Cristian!

This was an awesome experience! Israel and coco made the trip. Israel speaks perfect English and very knowledgeable about the area. He can take amazing photos too :). Highly recommend the 1 day if you are short on time.

I don’t post much on Tripadvisor but after the experience we lived I felt it was necessary to share our experience to the community. When didn’t have much time to spend in Bolivia but we didn’t to miss the opportunity to visit Salar de Uyuni. We decided to pick up Joker Expedition and we did the perfect choice! Our tour started and ended from La Paz and during whole trip the team were super professional! Jose was our first contact and he was always helpful when we had concern before and during the tour. They picked up at our hotel to reach the bus station. The bus is a long trip (8h) but it is very comfortable! Arrived to Uyuni at 7am, we got access to a room so we could take a nap and a shower before the tour start (10am). Alvaro was our guide and he was outstanding! Very professional, friendly, attentive, helpful and well organized. He knows every part/detail of the Salar so it makes your experience incredible! We also had a chance to taste Bolivian wine 😊 He shared with us a lot of technical and historical information which is a great source of information and he is an amazing photographer! We highly recommend this tour, everything was perfect!

We were afraid about the season with some rainy days by the end of December. It turned out to be a magic trip for us... ... Joker expedition did an excellent job! COCO was the funniest guide we had with an excellent music selection during the whole trip ;)

The organisation of this tour was brilliant and made us feel stress-free. Picked up in La Paz, taken to the bus station (given water and food) to the overnight bus and then picked up the following morning and taken to the hotel was made to feel such an easy process. The hotel then offered us a room and breakfast for a couple of hours before we waited to start the tour at 10am which was great and comfortable. The same process of being transported all the way back to our place in La Paz happened that evening and was again organised brilliantly. We were given more food and water for our journey home. We could not have asked for better tour guides. Alvaro (Al), with his perfectly spoken English, was able to answer all our questions, take some very fun photos and make the day incredibly enjoyable for us! Coco drove us round the plains and was always smiling and super helpful with setting up lunch, finding good spots on the plains, and making us feel very welcome on the tour. You could tell that both men absolutely loved their job, which always goes a long way ! If you want to feel no stress in visiting this amazing place and want great tour guides to take you round it then this is definitely the tour for you! UnBoliviable !

The private one day trip to Salar de Uyuni was unforgettable! Most beautiful sunset I have ever seen,fascinating landscapes. Our guide was so patient,helpful,thorough. We really loved the experience!

We had the private tour with Roger and Fernando. Roger made sure that everything was just as promised…knowledgable, friendly, funny and countless more positive adjectives you can think of. They both went above and beyond to ensure our experience was stellar. The private lunch and wine at sunset, live musical performance paired with the majestic visual experience that is the salt flats made this an experience of a lifetime. Thank you again to Roger and Fernando for making this such an amazing experience . Strongly recommend this to anyone thinking about the experience even if it’s for a day.

I highly recommend using Joker Expedition, my trip started and ended from La Paz, and I had drivers/transfers that ensured my trip was as efficient and successfully delivered. All the staff/team from Joker Expedition were professional, friendly, attentive, helpful and well organised. Much thanks to Jose whom was my first contact and organised all the logistics, and to Roger who was an outstanding tour guide whom gave me a lot of information about the history and factual information of the area, people and country - a rich source of information with excellent (self-taught) English, and a willing personal photographer. Roger is a multi-talented man, whom offered to play the Siku/wind pipe of a traditional Bolivian song as the sun set over the Uyuni salt flat, while drinking lovely Bolivian wine. The home-made lunch picnic and snacks provided were all also delicious. I also was provided with a poncho, which was so kind and thoughtful of them! Alvor and Coco.. All I can say is WOW! What a day with our amazing tour guide Al, and our driver Coco. This has been a bucket list item for years and it exceeded all ezpectations. Al has excellent english, is THE BEST photographer, so kind and patient with us. He went above and beyond for us. Taught us so much about photography too! The beauty and vastness of this amazing place must be seen to be believed. My personalized private tour took me to the best spots, Israel took the best photos, and even the weather cooperated for the perfect experience. From the lunch we had out in the middle of nowhere, to the hike surrounded by cactus, or the gorgeous sunset with the snacks and wine, I will remember the adventure forever. Jose waa very helpful. There was some logisitc difficulties due to Covid but Jose resolved it! Very lovely experience. The 1 day trip was veey luxury.

The team at Joker are a class act all the way.
