Julia was my guide for the day. And I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. She is local and very well knowledgeable of the region…and speaks English well. Not only she took me to visit the Terracotta Warriors, but also to Great Goose Pagoda and the Great Xi’an Mosque (these last two were my choices) where she thought a lot of China’s history and how Buddhism and Muslin came to China. And since I was interested in all this history, as a bonus, she took me to a live theater that tells the history of the famous Silk Road. What an amazing day! Definitely recommends her!

Richard was a fantastic guide who came equipped with much knowledge and enthusiasm in regards to the history of emperor Chin and the city of Xian. The Terracotta Army museum is awesome. Rosa is our guide who is very knowledgeable on the history of China. She is very attentive and makes sure that we get the best experience on the the places we visited. We are very happy with her service which is awesome.

The tour was amazing! We learned so much about Chinese history, Terracotta Mausoleum and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Julia was an awesome guide who explained everything and had answers to all of our questions. At every point of the Terracotta Mausoleum she showed us interesting details that we would have missed if we went alone.

We had a wonderful day in Xi'an with Richard and our driver. They took us to The Terra-cotta Warriors, and then we chose to also visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Xi'an Mosque. It wasn't my first time visiting Xi'an and I lived in Beijing in the past, but because the sights are not super close together I highly recommend getting a guide and a driver to make the most of your time in Xi'an without having to figure out public transport, taxis, or even ticketing - Richard and our driver helped with all of that. Richard was really friendly and knowledgeable, and at lunch brought us to a great restaurant for biangbiang noodles as well as other local dishes of our choice. All in all it was a great day, we saw lots and would have never been able to see this much in one day without them!

Had to give my own review, although my wife had did hers. Wanted to thank Rosa for her informative and knowledge booster tour. Regarding the food tour, as i not a foodie and dun like to eat but thanks to her recommendations had a great lunch with my wife. For the Terra Cotta tours, with the planning of Catherine and help of Rosa and the driver we managed to save time and effort. We phased through thousands of people (60000 person per day!!!) with Rosa knowing where to go or not. And had took the nicest photo of the place and Terra Cotta. We even plan our Terra trip on the day we going to Beijing with time to spare and relax. Please let the tour know how you want and like. Catherine communicate very well. We did both the Beijing and Xi An with them.

Our tour guide Rosa is fantastic. She speaks good English so we are able to understand the culture and history of Xi’an. The tour to Terracotta will be a nightmare without her. There was tens of thousands of people visiting. With lesser people I think we would have enjoyed it more. Thanks to Rosa we are able to do it “anti-clockwise” than the rest of the people and so it ease our tour a little. We would have wasted a lot of time and got lost without a guide.

Catherine Lu Tours organized our wonderful trip to Xi’an. Rosa, our guide, took us to visit the Terracotta Army and the other main attractions of the city. The whole tour was very comfortable and interesting. Rosa took great care of us and was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful throughout our staying in Xi’an.

Even before the trip the communication was excellent We were advised about timings, what to wear and were given plenty of flexibility about the agenda for the day. We only had one day in Xi’an and this was a great tour. Rosa did a wonderful job telling us the history and stories behind the places we visited. The terracotta warriors are a must-see. Even the lunch was one of the best we’ve had.

A visit to the terracota museum is a must. But try to visit very early or 90 mins before closing. The crowd could be overwhelming otherwise. Our guide rosa is friendly and helpful. She knew her city and history well !

The great China history lesson that our guide, Ding provided was very thorough and detailed. The other tours like walled city and Muslim street was also very good. Ding did a great job in explaining and also 10/10 for photography skills! Best guide we could ask for. I would highly recommend this tour. There was no issue with the guide reaching out to us and getting us on our way to see Terra cotta.

We had a wonderful day touring the Terra Cotta Army , the city walls and the Bell and Drum towers. Especially so with Mr Ting as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable giving us a good summary of the existence of the Terra Cora warriors and the towers. He brought us to a good restaurant for a taste of the local food and subsequently to the Muslim quarters to enjoy the sight and sound of that area. All in all we had a great time. We highly recommend this tour especially with Mr Ting as our tour guide

We love the whole tour at Terra Cotta Army. Our guide, Rosa is so accommodative to us ( as I have two kids and an elderly with me). She is so knowledgeable and we are so engrossed to all her explanation. We are really appreciative for her help to communicate with our driver as she tried to ensure we are safely reached our hotel at the end of the trip. Thanks Rosa! We will definitely look for you if we back to Xi’an again

Excellent tour in Xian and sourroundings. Visited the Terracotta Warriors Army, had an excellent noodles lunch, then visited the Tomb of Emperor Jingdi and back in Xian visited Goose Pagoda and Art Street. Rosa is a very knowledgeable guide, explained everything in detail, I learned a lot and had a very good time. Highly recommended!
