We enjoyed our 3 hour tour to Sakkara Dahshur and Memphis . Our guide Zizou did a great job ! As an Egyptologist he has a huge knowledge about ancient Egypt and we got to learn a lot . He was very helpful even with taking pictures . We really enjoyed the tour. The driver was also very friendly and very attentive . He drove carefully and safely ; we felt that we were in good hands . Great experience!

We arrange a tour from Deluxe travel. Our guide Zizou was great. He is very exprerienced all about Eygptian history and all places which we visited. He is very helpfull, very kind, gentelmen and very concerned. Our driver Omar helped us all delayed flights. He waited all night with us. Thank you very very much to all of you, we had great time. A fantastic day with Mahmoud our excellent guide. This is a must do trip on your visit to Cairo. An opportunity to go inside the pyramids and tombs and immerse yourself in the rich history of this part of Egypt. Our driver was excellent and our guide made the visit very personal providing a depth of knowledge on the history and features we went to see. Mahout found us a very good restaurant for lunch serving beautiful local food. A trip not to be missed.

A totally wonderful day spent with tour guide Zizou and driver Omar. Zizou was fantastic with his knowledge of Egyptology in explaining the history of Memphis Sakkara and Dahshur that could be totally understood by this layperson. My parents and I, we spent the day with our tour guide Mahmoud Badr and driver Esaam. We had an excellent day on this tour. Mahmoud has a captivating and expressive way of telling the history of the pyramids. He teleported us back to a time when Pharos ruled and Gods judge how big of a paradise you earned based on how much treasure you brought with you.

Hosni was a very knowledgeable tour guide. We visited 3 Pyramids +. We did this a day prior to a group tour of the Great Pyramid and others. I would highly recommend. He gave us a great background on the earlier pyramids and we spent ample time inside as opposed to what felt like a rush on the tour. He also provided a nice historical education as well.

What set this tour apart was Hosni's excellent guiding. I have been on other tours where the guide was at best disinterested/constantly on the phone and at worst spouting nonsense. None of that here! Hosni genuinely knows his stuff and was ever so accommodating to my special requests (I have some mobility challenges and needed more time in some places) and even modified the tour slightly to allow me to see an additional site I had set my heart upon. A wonderful day out and I will be a repeat customer!

Zizou was our guide. The tour was fantastic — exactly as we had hoped. Zizou was incredible: he was knowledgable and enthusiastic. He was able to answer all of our questions and he painted a compelling picture of what life was like in Ancient Egypt. We spent a long time at Saqqara, which was the most impressive site which we have visited in Egypt so far. We then visited the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid before spending time at Memphis. At no point on the tour did we feel rushed, and we saw everything that we had wished to see. Importantly for us, there were no unwanted shopping trips on this tour. I 100% recommend booking this tour!

I was a little skeptical when I found this tour with so many good reviews when many other tours in Egypt have so many negative ones. However, we had a great tour guide and I don't think our day could have been any better. Our guide Mohamed Gomaa was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He knew a lot about the history and was able to tell us many interesting facts in a very enjoyable way, almost like a storyteller. He had answers to all of our questions, sometimes not even related to the sites but to Egyptian history in general. We all learned a lot and our guide did a great job keeping our son engaged in the sightseeing.

Great trip, lots of interesting information from our friendly and helpful guide. Really enjoyed Sakkara and the whole experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour with the most knowledgeable guide I've met yet in Egypt. Zizou clearly has had many years of experience and education and cleared up so many of my questions and misconceptions about Egypt. The sights were awesome as well. Highly recommend this one!!

Absolutely excellent tour to the most interesting pyramids in Egypt: Saqqara and Dashur. Hosni, our tour guide, showed up early and worked with us to create a customized itinerary that focused on things we really wanted to see but were a little off the usual tourist track, such as the Mastaba of Ti and the tomb of Kagenni in the Saqqara complex (which feature the most incredible interiors but which are ignored by most tourists). We also went inside the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dashur, which are incredible. Hosni provided great information about everything we saw, and we really appreciated his good humor and flexibility. I'd give six stars if I could.

Our tour was from 11am to 5 pm. Mahmoud was few minutes early. First stop was Dahshur where he showed us red pyramid and the bent pyramid and told us the history of king Snerafru and how these came about. We went inside the red pyramid which still smells of Ammonia after 6000 yrs! Next stop was Memphis open air museum. We heard the history of Pharaohs, how Memphis was discovered and a detailed description of Ramses Ii whose massive statue is displayed there. Mahmoud told us stories around each of the statues and the sphinx like statue of queen Hatshepsut who ruled as a man. Final stop was Sakkara where we saw Kagemni's tomb and the step pyramid. Mahmoud made the entire tour enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and it is obvious that he loves Egypt and is very keen to share the stories. At our request, he took us to a riverside restaurant to eat Koshary. It was delicious. Thumbs up to Mahmoud and our driver Anwar. Highly recommend.

A most enjoyable and informative day trip. Zizou our guide really knew his stuff and answered all of our questions. He and his driver were a pleasure to travel with and we felt very safe and secure. We particularly enjoyed the visit to the Apis Bill Serapeum near the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. Fascinating.

Mohmoud Badr was our guide and teacher for the day and he was outstanding! History can be a VERY dry topic especially if it happened a couple thousand years ago! Mohmoud brought the history of the Egyptian Pharohs alive with stories that created a timeline that made sense with interesting stories and history that connected the key places and people that brought the tour alive. Dashur was a great stop as it made you appreciate what the start of the pyramid builders faced. Sakkara was stunning as it helped understand the whole after life story that is central to Egyptian life. The stops at the papyrus, perfume, carpet and artifact store was an interesting addition. Overall Mohmoud Badr and our driver Anwar created an interesting an exciting day long visit.
