After a long and bumpy coach ride wonderful to see the lush green feudal fields in Luxor still tended by hand with a donkey. A truely ‘biblical’ scene. Valley of the Kings impressive and beautiful. Karnak spectacular in size and once magnificence. Local lunch in cool setting under trees with tasty dishes. A very worthwhile day excursion with good guide.

We had a great day being guided around Luxor by Said. He was very knowledgable about the tombs and temples and organised the day to suit our needs. After a very early flight from Sharm el Sheik we started off in the Temple of Karnak, had a carriage ride around town, lunch by the river Nile, quick boat ride across for a short drive to the Valley of the Kings and Hatsuptep. The obligatory factory tour and then a longer boat trip on the Nile stopping briefly at banana island. Long day but we’ll wort it. Organisation was perfect and Said was a great guide.

Had a wonderful daytrip to Luxor from Sharm el sheik 18 january this year. We went to to valley of the king, temple of Hatsepsut, Karnak temple, Luxor temple, and had a nice lunch at a local restaurant chosen by our guide Romany Hanna, and ended with a boattrip on the Nile and a tour in the Winter palace hotel. Thanks to mr Hanna’s knowledge about ancient Egypt, I had a very experienced day around in Luxor.

The tour was really good. The guide was informative and spoke good English. Mustafa was the tour organiser and kept in touch throughout before and during the tour to see is everything was ok.

The excursion was very well organized. Our guide Ahmed told us about the new and old Egypt in a very exciting and entertaining way and was always ready to answer all our questions. In addition, we were a small group and thus had an advantage over a large group of buses. It was a perfect day that will be remembered for a long time.

A really long day but it was absolutely worth it!!!. Our guide was the best we could have!! He knew so much about Egyptian history, the lifestyle of ancient egyptians, all the temples we visited. He told us all about history, the life of the locals in the past and in the present and you could really tell he was enjoying doing this. He gave us useful advices about the shops, the money and really everything we asked. The organisation was great, we managed to see everything included in the program.

It was sick an amazing trip.. Luxor is full of history and it was great to see it. Never enough time at the locations but we got a very good overview. Our guide Said was really amazing.. He knew so much not just about the sites we visited but also spoke about a lot of history and culture. I really recommend this tour.. And thank you for a wonderful trip!

We took charming tours to Cairo and Luxor and it was an unforgettable experience! Very covid safe, very friendly private tour. We saw places where there were no other tourists and got the best photos! Our two tour guides Ahmed and Said were very knowledgeable and showed a different side of Egypt you will not get with a large group tour. Also with Ahmed giving non stop snacks, juices and water you will never need anything! 5/5, will recommend to our friends

fantastic trip. indeed a very long day but more than worth it. Seen and heard many interesting things.Ahmed our guide was able to tell well about the antiquities and the current life in Egypt. We couldn't have wished for a better guide. The lunch was particularly tasty. The trip over the Nile had to be paid for, but it was also fun to experience. The city viewed from the water looks different again. In addition to the part with the guide, there was plenty of free time for a quiet view. On the way we got drinks, chips and chocolate. I recommend it to everyone. You just have to experience it

Ali is an exceptional guide and the whole team was very attentive throughout the trip (they gave us drinks several times, they are polite and friendly and made sure of our comfort at all times etc ...)! The walk on the Nile was very pleasant and the meal very good !!! We had a wonderful day and I have nothing but positive to say !!! I recommend without hesitation! (I also went to Cairo with another agency recommended by the hotel because we decided at the last minute to go there and I can tell you that it was 100 times less good than this excursion to Luxor and much more expensive than what charming Tours offers!)

This trip is a must you can dive in egyptian culture, is a different world outside the resorts. The boat trip on the Nile was also very nice. We had the best guide Noor, made the trip more interesting with a lot of funny stories. If you need an english speaking guide ask for her and you will have a great day.

Our tour with Hany was amazing. We were thankful to recieve such a knowledgable, friendly, and perosnalbe tour guide to help explain all of the wonders in the Valley of the Kings and Luxor. Althought we enjoyed our trip one day simple was not enough and we are excited to come back and see more. When we do we will be sure to book this tour operator again because the service was the best we received in Egypt.

This was an amazing trip, fast to arrive and very helpful team, our guide Noor was incredible! She spoke very good English and it was east to understand her, she provided us with both historical information and also little-known stories about the pharaos, Hatshepsut and her family, we had enough time for photos and showed us where to get the best souvenirs. I recommend this trip if you go to Egypt, it’s a must! 10/10

What a wonderful day! MICHAEL our guide was excellent-he had fantastic knowledge of the sites and was clearly very passionate about Egyptian history. He paced everything just right, never rushing us or keeping us for too long. Brilliant day, I would highly recommend! P.s. a tip-don’t buy the add ons to the trip online-you can buy these on the day for a fraction of the price!

The tour was really good value for money. It's a full day (16 hours) and a lot of it is spent travelling to the sites. That said, Karnak was wonderful and the Valley of the Kings and surroundings were great. The long ride there and back give you the chance to see the real Egypt . Absolutely fascinating.

A long, hot and tiring day but so worth it. An unmissable opportunity to see ancient monuments and to learn about the lives of ancient Egyptians. Our guide momo (spelling may be wrong) was very knowledgeable and informative as well as being helpful, considerate and polite.

Everything we saw was impressive and our guide Said was the best, he explained things in a very interesting way, also helped us to get the best breakfast. 10 points for the guide

Wat een klucht! We hadden een privé dagtrip geboekt van Sharm-el-sheikh naar Luxor. Alles betaald en bevestiging hiervan ontvangen maar geen enkele info betreffende ophaal locatie en/of uur. Charming Egypt Tours (locale organisatie) via verschillende kanalen proberen bereiken: Whatsapp, Messenger, Tripadvisor… Zowel in Engels als Arabisch. Geen enkele reactie. Uiteindelijk heb ik enkele uren voor onze geplande trip gebeld naar Charming Egypt Tours waar men mij in gebrekkig Engels liet weten dat de vlucht was geannuleerd. Mijn vraag naar schriftelijk bevestiging van deze annulering bleef opnieuw onbeantwoord… Ten einde raad via mail contact opgenomen met hoofdkantoor Viator. Zij hebben quasi onmiddellijk gereageerd. Ze waren ook niet op de hoogte van een annulering, Charming Egypt Tours had blijkbaar ook niet de moeite genomen om hen te verwittigen. Na +/- 2u opnieuw mail van Viator met bevestiging van annulering en terugbetaling. Het bedrag werd nog op dezelfde dag teruggestort. Dus 5 sterren voor de service van Tripadvisor/Viator maar 0 sterren voor Charming Egypt Tours. Hadden zij ons verwittigd dan hadden wij veel tijd en stress kunnen vermijden tijdens onze rustvakantie!!
