Our half day tour with Daniel was exceptional. His knowledge of and love for Lisbon history and culture were unsurpassed helping us know so much more about this lovely city. We feel that the overview provided by this tour was perfect for our time here. Daniel was engaging and an excellent driver in the crazy streets and routes of Lisbon.

Loving Lisboa is not difficult as it’s a beautiful City, but with the help of Vasco, we had an unforgettable experience because he acted as a Teacher and as a friend. The places we visited and the people we met, were perfect: from enjoying a great coffe + pastey in the narrow streets of Alfama (Casa Sao Miguel) to enjoying the best and original Pastel de Belem (recently made) where the Factory is, to enjoying a Pina Colada at sunset in Torre de Belem (sexy Pina Colada). My wife and I highly recommend this Tour, and specially the great company of Vasco, our guide & new friend !!!

This tour was very good. Our guide, Vasco gave us the best service and was very knowledgable of the city and took us the some of the most beautiful spots in Lisbon.

We had Vasco as our guide and what a great experience. First of all this was just your own private tour. He made you feel comfortable from the minute you meet him. We were never hurried, stopped leisurely for chocolate drinks ( cold for my husband and hot for me ), went to all the important stops and had a great history lesson of Portugal and civilization. Really our conversation went everywhere and Vasco was knowledgeable on every topic you can imagine. The whole day went by and we just immersed ourselves in this great cultural experience. He went above and beyond being just a tour guide. My phone battery died and the codes for our apartment were in it. He helped us find a hotel to charge this close to our rental place. And it all went without a hitch. A moment of panic was averted. We couldn’t thank him enough. If you have to book a tour in Lisbon, this is THE ONE!!! And ask for Vasco. You will be very thankful.

I have taken private/semi-private (family) tours around the world. I have also been to Lisbon before. I had a free afternoon and booked this private tour with Diogo. What a treat. Starting at the top of Lisbon, ending at the Tower of Belem with a tasting of Pasteis de Belem and 5-6 stops in between. Diogo was pleasant, knowledgeable and very interactive. I got a look at Lisbon I could not have done myself. I enjoyed it and learned a lot! Worth the price and 4 hours. Highly recommended.

Diogo Soares gave us a wonderful half day tour of Lisbon. I can’t say enough about what a kind and thoughtful man he is. Also, his knowledge of the complicated history of Lisbon knew no bounds. My husband and I love history and he was able to answer all our many questions. He was a wonderful driver too, which means a lot in a city of heavy traffic and tiny winding streets. I highly recommend Diogo for your visit to Lisbon. It’s a beautiful city with friendly helpful people , delicious wine and food and beautiful architecture.

Our guide Vasco came early to pick us up, took us to various sites, and told us interesting stories. He was kind and accommodating to our 7 year old daughter. The best part was that he was very experienced and knew so many people everywhere we went. He is one of those warm people that can strike a conversation with anyone - coffee shop owners, museum attendants, porcelain painters, bakery workers, other tourists. Our day was full of interesting conversations and encounters!

Wow!!! This was our very first tour in Lisbon and it set the bar very high for the tours that followed. Our tour guide Vasco was absolutely wonderful. We all thoroughly enjoyed his comedic personality and in depth knowledge of Lisbon and its history. The number of sites and stops we made in 4 hours was truly impressive and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Vasco for such a wonderful start to our week long trip and your photographic expertise could not be matched!!! Vasco, our guide and driver was amazing. He knew all the right places, alleys, stories, history and literally everyone on the streets of Lisboa, and the small shops amd cafe owners. A good jovial person, great photographer, who clicked nice pics for us, and courteous and patient. Would highly recommend the trip and the guide.
