We had a lovely 90 minute tour of the Gothic quarter, Irene knows all sorts of interesting details about the amazing history of the fascinating city and knows just how to pitch the tour for people new to Barcelona. Brilliant English. Very friendly and engaging. Highly recommended.

Sebastian did a city intro tour for us including our 12yo daughter and 9yo son. My daughter was fascinated that he was an actor. And he did a great job of making things interesting for all of us.

We loved Liliia. I am traveling with two teenager girls who get bored very easily and she did a great job capturing their attention and keeping it exciting for the girls and me! She made herself comfortable in the group and adjusted to our needs. It was a great way to start our trip in Barcelona and I’m sad I hadn’t discovered this site when I was in Madrid.

Our tour with Sebastian was a highlight of our time in Barcelona. Sebastian is communicative and forthright with ideas we hadn't considered. He was adept in quickly getting us in and out of venues, even when lines seemed impossibly long to navigate. He is passionate about living life and of Barcelona and that clearly comes through in the tour. He loves history and shared many stories and pointed out and explained things we had walked by earlier in our visit and hadn't even noticed. He is very personable and answered all of our questions and even shared his list of favorite restaurants in the area. The food and drink choices he recommended we try on the tour were simply delicious and we left our two hours with Sebastian with full tummies as well as minds.

Book a walk with With Locals (Federico was great!) for your first day! It gave us a lot of great places to go back to throughout the trip and helped us work through our jet lag.

After a long night and day of travel, meeting Federico for a 1.5 hour kickstart tour was a good way to acquaint ourselves with the city. He was friendly and knowledgeable and had an easy manner providing good recommendations along the way on where to focus some of our time for eating and sightseeing. We saw some interesting sights including Palau Güell, the Gothic and Jewish Quarters, El Born and the Cathedral. Federico had good insight into the history and current statuses of the areas we went through. I would recommend the experience to anyone. Thanks Federico! We have used With Locals in Budapest and now Barcelona and love the way it works - lots of great experiences and options and a number of local hosts to choose from.

Old part of Barcelona is very interesting to visit. Definitely worthwhile to do it with a guide. Next time I would like to discover another part of the city. So much to see and do.

We met with Fiorella our 1st day in Barcelona for a 1.5 hr kickstart tour. She was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. By the time we finished we had seen beautiful treasures of the city that we would not have encountered on our own, recommendations for great places to eat, a sense of the culture and pride of the Catalan people, and were off to a great start. Briefly the tour with Liliia was the best time in Barcelona! I definitely recommend it to everyone! Storytelling and interaction with the guide 10/10. There was no sense of haste or indifference. We enjoyed the whole walk like children together with the guide. It is much more interesting to look at famous attractions learning their history and interesting events related to them. We saved time and effort, and got pure emotions. Because thanks to Liliia, we didn't look at maps on the phone, but at interesting details of buildings, the beauty of the streets and the general charm of Barcelona.

The tour is like a must for travelling to Barcelonsa! Long enough to see a lot but not too long to get tired. Just perfect and Maria was a wonderful guide, vibriant and very knowledable. She gave us so many tips, where to eat and what to see. We hihgly recomnend a tour with Maria:)
