We had a great time, With a very knowledgeable guide Mr Pal. We never had a lot of time so we were specific where we wanted to go which was very well organised. We were never rushed , we enjoyed each place and some others that we were also shown. Interesting tour of Kolkata. I was in the city only for a couple of days and personally would not have had time to see so many places. My guide Mr. Pal told me a variety of interesting things. I gained a lot of knowledge about history, local persons, religion, etc. A big thank to him. Our driver also drove smoothly through the busy streets and alleys of Kolkata. I would have liked to get more tips in advance on giving tips. I come from a country where there is no tipping culture and I had come to India only a day earlier, so I didn't know about the practices and the magnitude of tips. I felt like I was doing everything wrong and I think that affected the atmosphere. Left a bit of a miserable mood. But had a nice day in hot and bustling Kolkata. I recommend the company and the tour.

This was a great value for the money and a great opportunity to see the city. The tour covered all of the main attractions and our guide was really knowledgeable and excited to show us the city.

Was a great trip ...not at all what i expected...all those sights the heritage buildings , the history behind each one was well explained

I have spent a couple of days in Kolkata with some friends. We wanted not only to visit the main sites but also to get a little taste of everyday life in the city. That's exactly what we got. We couldn't be happier of our choice. Bratati, our extremely professional, prepared and cheerful guide, made it possible for us to see and experience Kolkata through the eyes of a woman. Thanks to her suggestions, we had the opportunity to use public transport (metro, bus, ferry, cab) on a Sunday morning and taste not only a very good coffee and a wonderful chai but also some of the best Bengali sweets. We hope to travel to Kolkata again soon! :-)

My wife & I travel a lot, enjoy learning about the history and culture of the cities we visit and use mostly private guides. Anirban was an exceptional guide on our day visit to Kolkata during a 9 hour layover. Not only did he provide us with interesting historical and cultural information he was quite engaging to ensure that we were comfortable with our many stops and not overly exhausted from a very, very full day (that we requested). For example, he helped us navigate the huge and bustling flower market that could've been overwhelming but made it fascinating with his knowledge and skill so that we will remember it for a very very long time. Again, we've been to many open markets all over the world and this visit was superb. Additionally, Anirban's demeanor was warm and extremely welcoming. His English was fluent, and his accent was easy to follow (at least to our American ears). It was a pleasure to spend the day learning from him. If you are touring Kolkata, we can't recommend him enough.

Saha is the best tour guide we’ve ever encountered. We feel so lucky that we got to do 2 tours in Kolkata with her. She really goes above and beyond helping you with requests, and knows a lot about the different places. She knows where to take the best pictures and where to buy fair price. Her english accent is really good and easy to understand for people from whom it is not their first lenguage. We hope to come back and arrange more tours with her and her team.

The guide was very experienced, we saw lots of different sights. For Lunch it was only fast food Momo but that was ok. There was no water in the car as mentioned in the tour description and also no entry fees to pay. But all in one it was a good experience.

Mr Anirban Dey was my guide for my private 2 day visit in Kolkata. I had an amazing experience of Kolkata with him. He is polite, punctual, knowledgeable (about the city's history, culture & religious aspects) and honest! My aim was to visit some of the famous temples and have a culinary experience of Bengali cuisine. And he successfully delivered what we agreed on previously and exceeded my expectations. There's still a lot to discover in Kolkata such the Park street and of course experience more of the gastronomy! He'll definitely be my guide again.

Great guide, he was very knowledgeable about the area and history from the perspective of the Indian people and the British rule as well. We covered a range of places and he made sure I was comfortable at all times. Very good driver and car was very clean and safe. I was safe at all times with this company.

I would really recommend this tour. It’s a great introduction to Kolkata and a fantastic way to see the main sights and get a feel for the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Before starting the tour we were able to make some requests to the itinerary based on our plans for the next day and this flexibility was very helpful. Towards the end of the tour, we loved that the guide suggested visiting a famous local sweet tour as a last stop. The sweets were so good! If you are visiting Kolkata you should take this tour!

We booked a private 2 day tour with tourHQ and chose Bratati Saha as our guide with chauffeur. She proposed the places to visit which we modified to include some less conventional locations. We were so impressed by her adaptability to our needs and her negotiatian skills to enter some places not open to the public. We saw many different sides of life in the city of Joy. She even succeeded to get the cemetery staff to locate an 1885 grave when the service was closed and organised the planting of roses at the appropriate time with the cemetery gardener. It was an experience that we will remember all our life and we are so grateful.

My mum and I had a wonderful experience on this tour with Mr Paul. They were very passionate and informative about the history of Kolkata and shared in depth knowledge about each location we went to. We'd highly recommend this experience!

It was a great day with Anirban. A full day full of various great discoveries of Kolkata and interesting in insights from Anirban. It gives you a great overview of what Kolkata has to offer. Highly recommended - we definetly go for his Tour again.
