What a wonderful experience! Four of us took the tour- myself, my son in law, and two grandsons. Our tour guide, Elise, was fluent in English, energetic, and kind. She was a marvelous instructor about the Battler of Dunkirk- the relationship between the English and the French, the difficulties experienced with the evacuation, and the impact on the cities of both Calais and Dunkirque. We thoroughly enjoyed the two hour tour. The trip to the cemetery was particularly moving. We shared, in a small way, the sorrow of the parents and family of the fallen heroes with the messages on the tombstone crosses. A heartfelt thank you to Dynamo Tour and especially to Elise for sharing her wealth of knowledge about such an historic event. We could not have been more satisfied.

Emmanuelle (sp?) was an excellent tour guide. I visited the museum first to gain a basic understanding of the Operation, and this tour immediately afterwards was highly complimentary. Seeing the locations with narration was absolutely worth the price. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions; the guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered them all. The driver was also very professional and the drive was comfortable.

We had a brilliant tour. Our guide Freddie had a lot of really indepth knowledge and a great way of telling stories. Would definitely recommend whether you already know a bit about the history or (like me) not very much at all.

We were guided on an excellent tour around Dunkirk by Emmanuel. He jumped in our vehicle and directed us through the streets of Dunkirk. His knowledge and passion was unquestionable. It was very interesting getting the French perspective of the evacuation. Alyce was fantastic, the weather not so great . She also took us to the street from the opening scene of the Dunkirk movie which we enjoyed, and then to get a better look at the East mole and English cemetery. Very interesting day. Thankyou

We had a lovely guide, Elise, who was very enjoyable to learn from and listen to. She took us to the sites involved in the operation and also in making the movie Dunkirk which was enjoyable. We went to the British cemetery which was very touching. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and Elise helped us have a fuller understanding of the operation.

Elise was an exceptional guide! She was well spoken in English, and knew the history and the lore really well. Very insightful. This was so much better than anything we could have done on our own.

Emmanuel gave a very good tour of the Dunkirk Beach Battle Area and the Story. He was well informed of the events leading up to the dramatic evacuation. He also includes a nice tour of the city of Dunkirk and many of its notable buildings and their history. One suggestion would be to expand the tour to include the battles around the defensive position that the British and French held that enabled the evacuation: Gravelines, AA Canal and then the ever shrinking perimeter.

Thank you very much to our guide Fred Debuisne, we were very appreciative of his knowledge and ability to bring the spirit of Dunkirk alive during our private tour. A private tour is around 2 hours and should be on everyone's agenda. We visited the Operation Dynamo the afternoon before the tour and this helped us to retain the stories shared by Fred. He brought with him maps, photos and documents which helped tie everything he was saying together.

Fred was a wonderful tour guide and a treasure trove of information. You could tell he really enjoyed the history and provided enough color and details to make individual stories and events feel vivid and real.

The visit and ride in the luxury minibus was fabulous. The guide was very informative and made the history of the Dunkirk battle and evacuation come alive. He added insights into the battle and the film made of it. We were taken to key areas around the Dunkirk battlefield and ended up at the war graves of the fallen. The trip was very worthwhile and something we would recommend.

We had an extra day in Bruges while on a cruise ship, so we rented a car in town and made the easy one-hour drive which was a great decision! We loved our tour with Emmanuel, whose knowledge and passion for his subject were captivating. This tour guide made it so easy to schedule and find them(very nice transportation provided) in the parking lot in front of the Museum Dunkerque. We arrived early and had 45 minutes in the museum to start, which was helpful ahead of our comprehensive tour, including many meaningful stops. The movie tie-in adds another dimension which we always appreciate! Highly recommend this tour as a way to see and learn so much!

This tour of Dunkirk was so good! Our guide, Elise, did an excellent job! She spoke great English and was so nice to interact with. We loved seeing and hearing about the movie as well. It was a highlight of of entire European trip. I highly recommend - we got so much more out of our time in Dunkirk because of this tour.

The tour guide was amazing. He was very informative and was more than happy to answer any questions. With us being from Scotland there was only some slight language barrier but got there in the end. Would definitely recommend if going to Dunkirk!!
