This tour was absolutely fantastic! Best way to see Angkor Wat and surround temples. Mr Bun and Mao were brilliant, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made the day unforgettable. Mr Bun is also a very avid photographer and knew all the best spots which was a really lovely touch. If we ever come back to Cambodia, we will be re-booking with them. Truly a 5+ star tour!! Yuth was incredibly knowledgeable in Cambodia’s rich history and articulated impeccably. He did a great job of finding the best less crowded photo ops. He’s funny and has mad math skills! You will have to go with him to get what I mean🤗 Our driver Keal was also amazing and quick to provide cold water and cool towels at every turn. It was an awesome experience…highly recommended!!

Vantha, our private tour guide, made our tour absolutely amazing. He was very articulate, very knowledgeable of the country's past and current history, his English fluency and vocabulary was impressive, and he was very friendly and welcoming with a good sense of humor. The pride he has for his country is very evident and we felt very comfortable with him. He is also a kick-ass photographer! (See photos) He knew the best places to take photos, to minimize the crowd in the photos, which we really appreciate. He and the driver made sure we had enough water throughout the day as well as ice cold towels to keep us cool. We learned so much and had a lot of fun. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 10/10 will recommend!!!!

Angkor Wat is worth every cent. Sunrise private tour with Journey Cambodia has made the experience a lot more enjoyable and ‘educational’ (!) :D Our tour guide Samnang was superb, plus, very diligent! Driver Bun was also very accommodating, even doing an extra favor for us.

We're awestruck by the views specially the sunrise in Angkor Wat. The temples have amazing architecture. Our tourist guide Samnang Yean is very accommodating, friendly and brilliant. He gave us lots of inputs about the historical places. We learned a lot about Cambodia and its culture. Also our driver Bun is accommodating. Foods are good. We had an amazing experience watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat with our tour guide, Samnang and our driver, Bun. Samnang told us lots of interesting facts and stories about the temple. He also took lots of stunning photos of us. We also went to other amazing temples. I especially like the views at Taprohm temple. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was great (despite the heat). The driver (Bun) gave us a bottle of water and a refreshing small towel after going around each temple. While the tour guide (Samnang Yean) was really great in showing us around while also taking great pictures of us. The experience may be tiring but it was really worth it.

Our tour guide - Mr. Setha was wonderful. I highly recommend the tour. Mr. Setha was very knowledgeable. In addition to learning about the temples, I learned a lot about Cambodia.

We booked a private half day sunrise tour with Journey Cambodia. This turned out to be a great option because the tour ended just as the temperature became too high. We still had plenty of time to appreciate three temples plus a stop for breakfast. Our guide was Setha. He was passionate about Khmer history, and it was clear that he devotes much of his own time to learning about his country’s past. He and our driver were very experienced, professional, knowledgable, punctual, and the perfect guides for our trip to Angkor.

Wonderful experience & my guide had exceptional knowledge . My guide chhay was very kind and professional& he not only brought me to many temples , and sights, he asked if I wanted to stop at others . Incredible time& experience

This tour was absolutely amazing. The sunrise over Ankor Wat was breathtaking and Ta Prohm and the Bayon temples were incredible. Our tour guide Bun was so informative. He shared personal stories and had a great knowledge of Cambodian history and Ankor. We had as much time as we wanted at each of the temples and we didn't feel rushed at all. Our driver Yeng was fantastic too, he always had cold towels and water for us when we got back from the temples. I highly recommend this tour, I would go again.

Our guide, Chhay, was great! He was friendly, informative, and generous and skillful with the photo ops! Smooth sailing at the attractions and while navigating the crowds. Chhay was attentive to the wishes of the group and made the tour perfect for our needs.

We did the sunrise Angkor Wat private tour with Sak and Mr. Black (driver) on 22FEB2024.  They picked us up at our hotel ontime at 4:30am with private transportation to Angkor Wat.  Upon arrival at the temple complex Sak escorted us to a great spot to watch the sunrise.  Angkor Wat is amazing but even better with an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide like Sak to provide background, answer questions and guide us to the best route.  All three temples we visited have their own story and Sak did an excellent job describing the differences in detail.  Mr. Black had cold water and a cold towel waiting for us in the bus for driving between temples which was great as it was very hot that day. I would absolutely book this tour again with Sak and Mr. Black.  On a side note Sak is an amateur photographer who takes amazing pictures. Thanks again Sak and Mr. Black!

The small size of the group and the accompaniment of a skilled and thoughtful guide who was well-versed in the history of Angkor Wat within the context of the country itself made this an excellent and memorable experience. The driver and guide were friendly, courteous and punctual and we were given helpful, accurate directions with regard to what to expect as we went through the tour. Had a great day waking up early to take the sunrise tour exploring Angkor with my excellent guide Chhay.    Chhay is knowledgeable about the history of each temple and I can understand his english. The sunrise was well worth it and took many photos of the temple sites. Chhay knew the good spots where to take photos and even took photos on his own phone and sent them to me afterwards. We stopped at a restaurant to have breakfast and a rest. The driver also drove safely, was courteous and had cold water on hand after each temple visit. I recommend Journey Cambodia and Chhay, Thank You for the enjoyable day. ကို အကြံပေးပါတယ်။

A guide is a must to getting the full experience when visiting the temples of Siem Reap. Our family had a memorable day with Sak as our tour guide. He grew up around the temples and this special connection really shined in his telling of the history and valuable details and information about each structure. He spoke English well, is very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to converse with. I especially appreciated that he let us set the pace of the tour. We took the time when we wanted to and moved on when we wanted to. Thank you, Sak! Our driver was Mr. Black. He was always ready for us with the air conditioned bus, cold water, and cool towels with tiger balm, which were a delight!

Amazing day and Sin was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend him. So glad we had a private van with air con. The driver was very attentive and provided us with lots of cold water and cold tiger balm compresses.
