This was my second private tour with Caio. Let me begin by saying that Caio is the best guide for a one day city tour in Brazil. He begins by taking you to a beautiful view of Sugarloaf Mountain in the Lake District. It’s morning so coconut milk And a beautiful view on the water is perfect. From there we went to the Christ of the Redeemer. There and everywhere we went Caio takes professional quality photographs with your camera phone. No angle is too difficult, no contortion not possible for Caio to take a great Instagram worthy shot. We opted for an option to tour Santa Marta Favela, where Michael Jackson filmed the video “They don’t really care about us.” This is a once in a lifetime experience for the adventurous. And Caio knows restaurants. This time he took us to a old time businessman’s lunch spot that had the best meal I’ve had in Brazil. Have an open mind and you will not be disappointed. In conclusion, it is with my highest regard that I recommend Caio. And I look forward to our next trip to Rio.

Caio was amazing! He contacted me ahead of time to put together a personalized tour that all 8 of us loved. He knew of places, views, and restaurants we didn't know to ask about. One of my friends had a broken leg and was on crutches, and Caio and the driver made sure everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend his tour for anyone visiting Rio and the surrounding area!!

Caio was an excellent guide in all respects including pre-tour communication. He met us right on time in our hotel, and took us to number of very interesting locations in Rio including the top of Sugarloaf. He’s an excellent photographer, and use our phone to take some great pictures of us and some scenery we would not have captured otherwise. We told him we wanted to go to a nice restaurant, and he picked an outstanding restaurant with an excellent reputation and the food was great. His driver was also very good. I especially like the fact that, with his guide badge, we could bypass long lines. We have used several TBL guides in the past and he ranks up there with the best of them.

Caio is an excellent tour guide who is very detailed oriented. Always punctual and his fluent English was a plus! We learnt much of Brazil’s history and experienced their culture. I highly recommend.

Touring with Caio is the best decision we made in Rio! He contacted us 48hrs prior to understand what we had in mind &our preferences. On the D-day, we started at 6am but he still reached 30mnts earlier. The car was lux, he started by outlining the plan, and most importantly, traveling with Caio gave us an ease of mind. The pace was comfortable and the photos/videos he took for us were amazing! He brought us to great spots and allowed us to have dynamic on the lens. We encountered a hiccup when the car bumped into a pothole & burst two tires, and within few minutes we were back in action with uber. Such things happen all the time but Caio took care of the flow & vibe. He also engaged us in some interesting topics and meaningful sharings. We highly recommend Caio to anyone who wants to get the most our of Rio!

Caio is the best guide ever! He listens to what we like and took us places only locals know. The best Brazilian food and the best views. And because he knows Rio de Janeiro, we were at the famous touristic spots at the right time, without long waiting in queues. His English is extraordinary and he takes very nice pictures. Caio was so much fun! He picked my friend and I up from our hotel, and instantly was asking questions to customize our experience and ensure we had the tour of our lives! We experienced SO many things on this tour, all of which we wanted, there is no cookie cutter recipe for Caio’s tours! Truly customizable! Something about having your tour guide walk into places and know the staff and be able to get you through long lines just makes you feel like you’re living your best life! How Caio isn’t already running his own photography business is insane because this man can take photos from my iPhone like a whole fashion photo shoot. This is hands down the best tour I have ever been on! Disclaimer, we were not interested in history specific dates and information. Our tour was more of a “my friend is a local and I want the local vibe experience”. Those looking for more historical information and experiences may not share my thoughts.

Caio was great he went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. He was so accommodating and made sure that we had a customized experience. He’s a great photographer and knew the best photo angles and spots to take pictures. He gave us great recommendations for other places to explore in our trip. We truly felt like we were VIP the entire trip and that Caio was our well connected friend instead of a tour guide.

Caio was wonderful! He took us to so many places, and the tour was completely customized based on our needs. He was able to avoid crowds, skip lines, and show us the best views of Rio de Janeiro. We felt that every place where it took us was authentic. We loved the places where he took us to eat, because they were not touristic! We definitely recommend him!

My wife and I cannot recommend Caio enough for anyone who has limited time in Rio and wants to maximize their time visiting Rio’s historic sights and getting a taste of local culture and food. He does a fantastic job of ensuring that his customers experience each place's highlights from a physical perspective and an understanding of the history behind each. Furthermore, he does a phenomenal job documenting each customer’s visit at each site – my wife and I joked that his photos were better than our wedding photographer's – seriously, he is that good! Initially, we had planned to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain by ourselves on a separate day, but Caio convinced us that we should see those on his tour, and it was one of the best decisions of our time in Rio. His professional relationships with those in the tourist industry allowed us to expeditiously get to the main areas of each site and have time to really enjoy all they had to offer versus waiting in long lines. Even after our tour was over, he continued to provide us with recommendations of places to eat and sites to see around Rio. If you don’t go with Caio, you are missing out on an amazing, educational, and efficient way of taking in Rio’s highlights.
